Very attentive and courteous staff. Stairs & lifts to each floor with fob access at each level and keys for room entrance. With longer stays, room cleaning service is every three days but staff happily attend to your room daily if you request. Buffet breakfast with a variety of self service food and drink to choose from between 7am and 10am week days. There are a selection of drinks, snacks, hot drinks that patrons can access up until 10pm. Between 4-6pm you can partake of drinks on the Mezzanine floor overlooking activities on the ground level. Prices are extremely reasonable. A very convivial atmosphere. The Restaurant serves high quality food presented beautifully. No need to dine anywhere else because you will want to try every dish on offer and that will take some time. The character of this substantial building has been honoured and maintained. Quite stunning. I loved that there are elements of the buildings history as a bank have been maintained and the beautiful iron balustrade along the stairs. We booked a one bedroom heritage apartment which was large, offering separate bedroom and bathroom to the lounge, dining, kitchenette space. Lounging couch and individual chairs. The noise from the air pumps made it difficult to sleep, as did the water hammering sound from shower in room above. There was also a drilling type sound and the dragging of large refuse bins in the laneway outside our room. People living in Urban or city dwellings may not be impacted by these sounds.

Very comfortable and quiet. The upgrade was unexpected but very nice indeed. Complementary breakfast and wine made it a great stay. Did not like the parking station! Tiny spaces and difficult access. It was the one negative for us.

The location was fantastic, the staff amazing and the old building quite special. It was unfortunate when there that only one lift worked and the coffee machine was out of order for breakfast too. The gym is basic but has good treadmills and it is a bit clunky dropping and collecting luggage with the standing zone a full level (and only elevator accessible) below the mezzanine where the reception desk is located. Parking is also some distance away. Room was very good with great hot water, space and fit out.

Definitely would recommend the apart-hotel and would stay again. Nice to have everything provided. Great options for the breakfast, nice wine at the happy hour, and nice to be able to grab a takeaway coffee from the guest lounge at any time. Good size apartment with everything you need. Close walk to shopping and dining options.

TOC is reliable a place to stay as any in Melbourne CBD. They have a good breakfast every morning on the mezzanine level, as well as a wine down each evening between 4 and 6pm. Note though if have not booked directly through their website only your first drink is free. The rooms are clean and neat and well appointed.

Didn't feel as luxurious in person as it does in the photos and marketing. The loft apartment isn't - it's merely a two-story apartment on the lowest floor, contrary to the actual meaning of the word "loft" ('a room or space directly under the roof of a house or other building'). So the view was mostly of the road and a couple of median strip trees, and the road noise was substantial. There was supposed to be a bottle of wine on arrival, but there was not. No room upgrade was offered despite there appearing to be plenty of vacancy. The apartment itself was decent - spacious for the most part, and well-arranged. The facilities were mostly good, though the washer/dryer is a combo Samsung unit which takes five hours to run a basic clean & dry cycle, takes only a half-size load, and can't actually dry thicker materials like jeans. So we ended up having to drape clothes over railings and chairs. The main bathroom had soap & lotion dispensers at the sink but none in the shower (just the old-fashioned, wasteful single-use tiny plastic bottles). The parking was a couple of minutes walk away in an unpleasantly cramped garage - many spots are only accessible to tiny, low cars. There were no working electric car chargers in the parking lot. With city traffic it was a fifteen minute exercise to park or fetch the car. The buffet breakfast was decent overall - a reasonable range of cooked and continental options, but many of the cereals were in wasteful tiny-portion packaging.

My only complaint about this hotel is the non working lift and the bottleneck at reception on the Mezzanine level. Took so long for the one working lift, right near the reception desk. This is also right near the breakfast area. Very congested and uncomfortable. The hotel and staff were wonderful. I think fixing the elevators should be a priority.

Good location, great value. Room was comfortable and it was really nice having the kitchen and snacks as well as a washer/drier. Breakfast as very good with lots of options. Wine tasting in the afternoon. Couldn’t ask for much more.

From the moment we reached reception the staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was amazing with plenty of room and facilities. This is close to a lot of restaurants and easily walkable to major shopping areas such as Bourke Street Mall and Melbourne Central. Buffet breakfast was the standard fare with most hotels, however the availability of the snack bar throughout the day until 10pm is next level and very much appreciated. Further to that they have a daily Wine Down event on the mezzanine level with plenty of seating and atmosphere with a pool table to boot.

From start to finish we had an outstanding stay. Fabulous staff, wonderful location and amazing room. They went the extra mile for our wedding anniversary wkend. Thx for an amazing stay and making it a memorable one. We hope to be back to Melbourne and staying again soon.

Our stay at The Treasury on Collins was absolute epic in its perfection. From the minute we checked in at the front desk with Carl until check out, everything was above and beyond our expectations. Carl kindly treated us to beverages when we arrived way too early. People can make all the difference and this is especially true for Treasury on Collins: Carl and Haries are Ambassadors of Hospitality. These two gentlemen added so much to our trip from making sure our suite was perfect to acting as our personal concierges and travel advisors. We followed their recommendations and reaped the benefits. Our suite was always spotless and stocked with everything we needed. The Housekeeping staff is truly top notch. The Chef provided an outstanding, delicious hot breakfast buffet every day. The other staff at breakfast always made sure we had everything we needed and cheerfully kept everything well stocked and clean. The complimentary “happy hour” (aka Wine Down) was such a treat. We looked forward to it everyday to the point we tried hard not to miss it. We especially enjoyed our chats with Haries at Happy Hour. The location of the hotel was excellent for access to all we wanted to see. The size of the suite was impressive as were all of the amenities it contained. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it a few days. Kudos to Treasury on Collins, Carl, Haries, Andrew and all of the team there. We would stay there again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone.

Whenever one reviews a hotel, it's a given that the staff are always friendly and helpful, and they definitely were at the Treasury on Collins. However, the hotel was simply not what we expected. The entrance, and I am not sure which one we should have used, is unimpressive to say the least. We used the one via Queen Street and it left us wondering if we were in the right place. We eventually found reception on the mezzanine level and again it was a bit surreal as we looked down onto what looked like a dining and bar area on the level below us. Similarly, the walkway around the atrium (for want of a better word) on our level looked strange and if there hadn't been someone smiling at the reception desk, I would have though we were in the wrong place. I have seen many old bank and office buildings that have been renovated and they have been magnificent, but not this one. The corridor on the sixth floor leading to our room made up for all our concerns because it was really impressive. Why the rest of the building couldn't have been done like that, I will never know? However, on entering the room, more disappointment. Parts of it were ok, but what could only be called the recent renovations were quite unappealing. Think of cheaply veneered and dated timber cupboards, etc. The shower over the bath was completely unacceptable in this day and age and because of that, I cannot understand why the hotel gets such good ratings. As you can see, it just wasn't our scene.

Our room was amazing. Loved having a refrigerator, Nespresso and washer/dryer in the room. Loved the TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, and I could cast from my mobile device to the tv. Loved the location...so close to so many good restaurants. Comfy bed. Friendly service at check-in. Love this place!

I take one week every quarter to hole up in a nice hotel in a suite to get a ton of work done (I'm the CEO of my own company). Treasury on Collin was *perfect* for this: high speed internet irrespective of time of day. Suite was spacious and comfortable, with bath, laundry and kitchenette. Room was quiet. Access to good quality food nearby, as well as shows / entertainment. I will absolutely be back and would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

So we ended up having to drape clothes over railings and chairs. The main bathroom had soap & lotion dispensers at the sink but none in the shower (just the old-fashioned, wasteful single-use tiny plastic bottles). The parking was a couple of minutes walk away in an unpleasantly cramped garage - many spots are only accessible to tiny, low cars. There were no working electric car chargers in the parking lot. With city traffic it was a fifteen minute exercise to park or fetch the car. The buffet breakfast was decent overall - a reasonable range of cooked and continental options, but many of the cereals were in wasteful tiny-portion packaging.

I love the spacious rooms with separate lounge area. The bed is large and comfortable and the breakfast above average. The building is a beautiful historic building in a great location within walking distance to the city and tram stops just up the road. The staff are always friendly and the rooms spotlessly clean. They also supply Molton Brown toiletries which are that little bit special. My favourite place to stay in Melbourne.

Great value for a comfortable stay close enough to everything yet providing a peace and quiet retreat. The building is old which means the walls are thick and rooms are well distanced. I never heard any of the neighbors, and since my room was not street facing, the lack of street noise outshined the lack of view. Other highlights: free Netflix, free breakfast, beverages and snacks available throughout the day, the wine down wine tasting, Molten Brown toiletries, comfy couch and chairs, and friendly staff. Can improve: the elevated floor in the bed area makes some sounds when walking in certain areas. The vent cover above the toilet was not aligned well making whooping sound but I was able to adjust it myself so problem solved

The hotel was fantastic, we were upgraded to a king Suite from a Queen suite, onky issue was no drawers or shelves if you like to unpack and not easy to live out of 2 suitcases but there is plenty of space. Breakfast was phenomenal and the Wine down 4-6 we got unlimited wine which was a lovely bonus. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful big shout out to Gemma on the Wine down on the Monday night

I almost don't want to write a positive review for this place because I want to keep it all to myself! I loved our stay here! This is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The apartment was spacious and had incredible amenities, like in unit laundry and a jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was nice and the complimentary snacks were so helpful. The staff we also super kind and helpful. And the location was perfect - right in the center of everything.

Treasury On Collins - perfect City stay apartment. The staff, everyone from the housekeeping to the Manager were amazing, helpful, polite, friendly and knowledgable. They cant do enough for you. The apartment had everything you could possibly need. The bed was very comfy. The buffet breakfast was brilliant with a large selection of food and to top it off wine down every evening with a free glass of wine! Central to Melbourne shopping, dining and right outside is the tram stop, which in Melbourne central area is free! Thank you Treasury on Collins, we had a wonderful stay with you and will be back next time in Melbourne.

We had a wonderful stay at Treasury on Collins. The location is excellent, surrounded by remnants of the beautiful old Melbourne yet close to shops and eateries. The staff were excellent - helpful and not intrusive. Very comfortable room. Free afternoon drinks and a great breakfast. We will return.

It's the staff that make the difference, Jo from Fiji was magnificent...a wonderful host. Marvin was equally good, and the Argentinian lady recommended the best restaurants. We followed her sage advice and she hit the button every time. Breakfast is well done. The chef is attentive and can cook eggs and bacon to perfection. As I said it's the staff that make the difference.

Our stay at The Treasury on Collins was absolute epic in its perfection. From the minute we checked in at the front desk with Carl until check out, everything was above and beyond our expectations. Carl kindly treated us to beverages when we arrived way too early. People can make all the difference and this is especially true for Treasury on Collins: Carl and Haries are Ambassadors of Hospitality. These two gentlemen added so much to our trip from making sure our suite was perfect to acting as our personal concierges and travel advisors. We followed their recommendations and reaped the benefits. Our suite was always spotless and stocked with everything we needed. The Housekeeping staff is truly top notch. The Chef provided an outstanding, delicious hot breakfast buffet every day. The other staff at breakfast always made sure we had everything we needed and cheerfully kept everything well stocked and clean. The complimentary “happy hour” (aka Wine Down) was such a treat. We looked forward to it everyday to the point we tried hard not to miss it. We especially enjoyed our chats with Haries at Happy Hour. The location of the hotel was excellent for access to all we wanted to see. The size of the suite was impressive as were all of the amenities it contained. The room was a good size, but automatic room service is every 3 days, although you can ring reception for a daily. The only downside to the room was the single ply toilet paper. Silly, I know but, c'mon, and the tv choices were basic if you didn't connect with your own services. Aside from that, breakfast choices were great and plentiful and we spent every night down having the free wine in a comfy chair, people watching from above. The food at the restaurant below also looked pretty good although we didn't try it. The service has to be singled out as excellent. The staff were fantastic. The gym is basic but has good treadmills and it is a bit clunky dropping and collecting luggage with the standing zone a full level (and only elevator accessible) below the mezzanine where the reception desk is located. Parking is also some distance away. Room was very good with great hot water, space and fit out.

TOC is reliable a place to stay as any in Melbourne CBD. They have a good breakfast every morning on the mezzanine level, as well as a wine down each evening between 4 and 6pm. Note though if have not booked directly through their website only your first drink is free. The rooms are clean and neat and well appointed.

The property was lovely. Not what I was expecting. The room was bigger than I thought and we were lucky to get a small balcony to sit and have a morning coffee on. Buffet breakfast was nice but not coeliac friendly, I had to ask staff if the chef could cook up a separate plate for me. They did this which was lovely, they did make it clear that that couldn’t guarantee no cross contamination in the kitchen. Although lots of places around the hotel that I could eat at safely.
