Clean, convenient, friendly staff. Good breakfast (don’t miss the granola or the ginger shots) and excellent cappuccino machine. Comfortable bed and big, nice pillows. Parking was a bit difficult to find (it’s next to hotel and you have to drive up on sidewalk to enter using the app — pre-paid spot). Enjoyed the gym and sauna/relax room. Mon-Fri there’s a free boat across the street into city center.

Mycket god frukost, mycket o välja på. Kändes som det är för lite platser för alla som bodde på hotellet till frukosten. Mycket trevlig o hjälpsam personal. Sköna sängar o känns nytt o fräscht. Parkeringen var perfekt i garage under hotellet.

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf Hafen/Stadt (9. Etage). Super Frühstück mit sehr reichhaltiger Auswahl. Kurzer Weg zur (kostenfreien) Fähre in Richtung Innenstadt. Parkhaus mit viel Platz und Ladestation an jedem Stellplatz (unbedingt vorreservieren). Man kann praktisch jedes Ziel in der Stadt mit den öffentlichen Nahverkehr erreichen - Fähren sind dort eingeschlossen.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and nice room and facilities. Due to lots of road work (at no fault of hotel) it was a bit hard to find (got rerouted). Breakfast was nice. Top floor restaurant closed (had gotten info beforehand) and not a ton of dinner options within walking distance. Kooperativet was fun for lunch.

Sehr freundliches & zuvorkommendes Personal, tolle Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet & modernes Ambiente. Leider dürfte vor uns ein Hund im Zimmer gewesen sein & da nicht ordentlich geputzt worden sein. Es waren überall Hundehaare am Boden & den Stoffsessel konnte man auch nicht nutzen, da überall schwarze Hundehaare drauf waren. Wir sind selbst Hundebesitzer, daher hat es uns nicht so sehr gestört, aber es gibt genug mit Allergien & das könnte dann keine schöne Überraschung sein.

Tyckte att hotellet var rent,fint och bra rum, men jag fick springa ner och säga till om kaffe för det var inte påfyllt och en av mina kaffekoppar var tydligt redan använd...lite ofräscht i dessa tider

Som vanligt mycket bra, jag bor alltid på detta hotell. Men, denna gång var min fru med. Av en händelse kom hon åt den fasta duschen i badrummet varpå det rasade ner massor med damm, hon drog då sitt finger där och upptäckte ETT TJOCKT lager med damm. Lite av en besvikelse men trots det kommer jag tillbaka nästa gång.

Som vanligt mycket bra, jag bor alltid på detta hotell. Men, denna gång var min fru med. We had a lovely 3 night stay at Clarion Hotel The Pier. Our room was very clean and the beds (our son slept on a sofa bed), very comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of options. Free ferry across to central Gothenburg was a bonus. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

I’m sure the hotel runs fine at any other time of the year. But sadly I stayed for 7 nights during the Gothia cup. The hotel was clearly at capacity and hadn’t recruited accordingly. I had to ask reception how often they change towels as by day 4 I hadn’t had them changed. The receptionist told me they’d pay more attention to my room. I was left without toilet paper twice. The worst part was the unsupervised children. I regularly saw families waiting their turn to complain about the bad behaviour but unfortunately the hotel didn’t have the facilities to deal with it. In future the hotel really should think about a security guard in the evenings to patrol the hallways to avoid the worst kids ruining everyone’s stay. It wouldn’t take much to remedy and I hope for next year they make some changes.

På riktigt skönaste sängarna jag någonsin sovit i! Jag visste inte att det fanns så sköna täcken och kuddar. Fräscht badrum, med stor härlig dusch och produkter från Rituals. Tv:n på rummet var förvånansvärt stor. Bra läge, det är bara att ta lilla pendlarbåten över till "kärnan" av Göteborg. Hotellets garage var fullt. Det fanns gott om parkeringar runt om men det var ganska dyrt att stå där. Frukosten hade allt man kunde önska! Personalen i receptionen var väldigt uppmärksam och hälsade alltid glatt när man gick förbi. Övrig personal som vi stötte på hade tyvärr inte samma vana. Vi är supernöjda med vistelsen!

Bra område, lugnt men ligger lite off. Jag tog båten över från lilla bommen, det är en stund att gå mellan nybyggda hus. Lite knepigare att ta sig dit på nätter när båten slutat gå. Området är nytt och det märks att det är fortfarande många vägarbeten på vägen dit. Nya hotell är ju sköna för de är isolerade och tysta rum, fin lobby och inredning. Sägen toppenbra och fint badrum Men av nån anledning har man satt handtag på toalettstolen, kändes väldigt annorlunda. Hade jag bokat handikapprum? Nej Glasdörren för duschen var väldigt liten så det stänker lätt på golvet och toalettstolen. Nä badrummet får minus men rummet var bra i övrigt!

Amazing view of downtown Gothenburg from our 7th floor immaculately kept room. Very new hotel in an up and coming neighborhood so there was a bit of construction nearby although we barely noticed it. Breakfast and staff were wonderful. Freddie was especially kind and helpful. Incredibly comfortable bed and we even had a full size soaker tub in our bathroom, making it feel even more luxurious. New fluffy towels and bathrobe. Hotel is across the waterway so it's quite a bit further from downtown than most other hotels. We took a ferry or water taxi to reach downtown which made it more of an adventure getting around. Would definitely stay at this lovely hotel again our next time in Gothenburg!

The service from every member of staff who we spoke to was excellent. They went above and beyond. The breakfast was fantastic. There was an excellent choice of good quality food. Our room was upgraded and was very comfortable. It was easy and convenient to get to the city centre on public transport. I would definitely return and recommend.

It was amazing, on the first night the night receptionist Omar/Umar was so kind, so helpful, funny and professional. Fredric the next day helped me with my requests and made sure I was comfortable. I will be visiting again.

Stayed during the Gothia Cup and a few teams of children were staying and were particularly noisy in the evening. Many people complained to the staff who seemed unable to control the kids or get in touch with the team leaders. Had a great stay at Clarion Hotel - The Pier. Clean spacious room for 3 adults. We had a beautiful view of the downtown. Excellent buffet breakfast. I've stayed at the Clarion a few times for business trips and always enjoy it. Staff are friendly and welcoming, the hotel is clean and has nice amenities, and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. It's not in the most convenient of places but the ferry is right nearby and it's easy for taxis to find.

Fint hotell med trevlig personal. Möbler och inredning kändes dock slitet trots att hotellet är hyfsat nytt. Frukosten var inte speciellt bra då mycket var slut och inte fylldes på. Planeringen av frukosten kändes också bristfällig då det blev långa köer på flera ställen där det bara fanns en av något som många ville till (tex mjölkmaskin).

Rummet fantastiskt! Den engelsktalande tjejen som stod i receptionen var helt fantastiskt serviceminded!! Frukosten första dagen var i sig fantastisk, men dåligt med undanplockning! En yngre tjej gjorde så gott hon kunde, hade bara blick för att ta undan och ändå gick hon med ett leende mot kunderna, medans två lite äldre kollegor, mer var intresserad av att prata med varandra med en tom bricka i handen, eller som den ena tjejen gjorde…sätta upp håret i part och minut.. Borden var fulla med disk, så många fick göra som oss, skjuta tallrikar åt sidan så vi kunde få plats med vårt. Den andra dagen var det mer fart, så förhoppningsvis gick de en tillsägelse. Ett måste är också att besöka restaurangen FEI på 10:e våningen! Fantastisk mat och en lektion i autentisk kinesisk mat❤️!

Bra frukost, typisk stor svensk hotell frukost med många val och något för alla. Men med ”hotell äggröra” från kartong. Restaurang FEI är verkligen värt att boka i förväg! Oförglömlig matupplevelse. Fresh hotel in an upcoming area. Loved the free ferries to come and go. Breakfast was not as good as expected. No waffles, no omelette station and on that day no fresh bread (stale). Other Clarion hotels of the same caliber have them in their standard offering. Hence my 4 stars. Nothing else major to complain, but would not stay again due to the underwhelming breakfast.

Jeg var ærgerlig over aftensmaden i baren. Lille udvalg, uengageret barmand, lang kø (kl 20.45) og to klassiske valgmuligheder udsolgt (burger og kødboller). Jeg havde forstået at der var en restaurant mulighed. Men det var mandag og den kinesiske roof top var lukket.
