From the moment we arrived at Kempinski Palace Engelberg, we were completely enchanted. The hotel is the perfect blend of Swiss alpine charm and world-class luxury. Every detail — from the breathtaking mountain views to the elegant interiors — speaks of thoughtful design and impeccable hospitality. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. The concierge and front desk went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and enjoyable. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and offered stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and every evening felt like a retreat into calm and comfort. The rooftop infinity pool and spa were a highlight — simply magical. Soaking in the heated pool while gazing at the snow-capped peaks is an unforgettable experience. The breakfast buffet was another star of the stay: rich, varied, and full of fresh and local ingredients. The dining options were also superb, with a refined menu and elegant ambiance. Everything about this hotel exceeded expectations — from the luxurious amenities to the peaceful atmosphere and flawless service. 💬 Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and sophisticated Swiss escape. We stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed everything about this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, courteous and attentive. The location is really convenient, for being both just a few minutes walk from the centre of town and access to the mountains, and the fact that it's also just a few minutes walk from the train station. We stayed in the corner Belle Epoque Room in the original part of the hotel, and was surprised how spacious and well laid out it was; from the photo, it looks a little compact which did originally concern me a little when I booked, but it isn't the case at all. The view out of the 3 balconies in the room and the one from the bathroom was fantastic and great to wake up to in the mornings. We didn't dine at the hotel in the evening, but breakfast offered plenty of choices, all fresh and all well laid out which set up us nicely for the day. The spa was also great to be able to unwind after a day exploring the mountains. The need to ditch bathing gear in the steam/sauna rooms is something to note for travellers not used to it, but it's normal here and towels are plenty at hand. A lovely, lovely hotel that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

The room was lovely and the service and people were exceptional. Service with a smile. The fine dinner i’d organised was amazingly executed. I would recommend staying at the property. The SPA could be better as the temp of water wasn’t good enough plus the SPA set up didn’t quite work between the pool, steam and sauna.overall good

The Kempinski Palace is a world class resort in the small charming town of Engelberg at Mt Titlis. The staff are amazing professionals. The food is excellent. The spa on the top of the hotel is as nice as I have ever seen. We loved our time there and will return to stay even longer.

The pinnacle of Swiss mountain luxury. We stayed in six different hotels over a 10 day trip across the country, and without a doubt, this was the most luxurious. Be sure to make time for the spa and pool.

Super peaceful, clean and welcoming. Gorgeous views and comfy beds. Even the pull-out sofa bed was cozy! Only negative was the in-room breakfast portions were tiny for the price.

I stayed at the kempinski Hotel and was very satisfied with my experience. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The hotel is also very family-friendly and welcoming to children, which made our stay even more comfortable

For one very little environmentally friendly. - Our room faced the street where drunk people wander and shout until 3:30 in the morning, which was very disturbing. Apparently only the big suites face the quiet sides of the building, and no one in the reception told us this, so we were moved to another room with no less noice, but the room was a lot smaller, and more expensive for some reason. Not very happy about this treatment and the setup of rooms per se. - Parking was in an externally managed parking place, and quite expensive - would hav expected this to be included in a 5 start hotel with these rates. - Ski rental was very pricy compared to the rest of the city, and the employee at the ski rental was very sweet but knew nothing about the slopes and also not much about skis... - again below expectations, and rather have an agreement with the ski rental shop across the street where employees presumeably know more - coming home I disocvered that the hotel had charged my credit card twice for one of the nights we stayed. This ws not reflected in the invoice received upon check-out, and therefore not discovered until later, by coincidense. After 10 days the hotel has still not responded to my kind request to fix the erroneous charging of my credit card.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful and made our trip to Engleberg so worth the detour we took to go there. The staff was excellent with the most note worthy service being provided by Freya and Lazio. We stayed in the Epoque room which was one of the loveliest beautifully appointed rooms with rounded windows but modern Scandinavian style furniture and a gorgeous up to date bathroom! And the bed was extremely comfortable. We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend this property.

Whilst we appreciate the “high touch” service of the hotel staff upon checkin, it would enhance the experience if the level of interaction with the staff could be tailored and chosen by guest as part of the booking request For example, we had been travelling extensively prior to our stay, and at checkin, we just wanted to get to our room to relax - so whilst the hotel staff were great with our luggage and the reception took us walked us to our room and showed us the features to our room, we really just wanted to rest, but felt impolite to decline.

This ws not reflected in the invoice received upon check-out, and therefore not discovered until later, by coincidense. After 10 days the hotel has still not responded to my kind request to fix the erroneous charging of my credit card.

Beautiful property with the most spectacular views and the staff are extremely helpful. They have a great kids club where Katalina was amazing with our son. Everything is very walkable and the nature around the hotel is indescribable. If you are into playing golf the Engelberg golf course is a must play

Building as beautiful as the setting. Very high standards but staff create a relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere. Exceptional rooms and breakfast, bed probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Fabulous hotel.
