Great location near the beach, restaurants and nice coastal walks. Good breakfast. Our room was lovely and quirky. Sauna and spa bath at hotel a bonus. Would have loved to stay longer.

Second time of staying, this time I took advantage of the free to use Sauna and Hot Tub, made for a very chilled stay. Love the cheery staff, everyone is very friendly and helpful. Must mention the lovely cooked to order breakfasts with a view. Highly recommend.

Was fairly clean, however is very tired and needs updating. The room had a lovely view of the beach but unfortunately was let down by nosiy creaky floorboards and a light in the hall that came on randomly and lit the room up from under the door. The bathroom was clean but again very tired. I didn't have much interaction with staff but they were pleasant. Parking is a bit of a problem if you arrive late. For the price I expected more but it is in a great location.

We stayed here for a night and it was perfect. It is a proper seaside hotel. Directly on the beach with easy access. 15 min walk into town. Pavillion next to the hotel had music on when we stayed. Breakfast and services was great. Parking is free and found space easily

Quiet. Good location . Great views. However very steep flights of stairs to room. No lift. Staff not very friendly on arrival or during stay but happier at Breakfast which was ok. Clean hotel. Would not stay again due to the hike to the bedroom!

In general the hotel is OK and the rooms very clean but we have stayed in much better for much less. The internet was unreliable and slow as well as subject to persistent crashing. The rooms have been recently updated but the quality of the fittings and the actual finish is very poor and below acceptable standards. The wash basin was not fixed properly and the pedestal just stood loosely on the floor without any kind of fixing. Waiting 15 minutes to be served at the bar in the evening is not acceptable. I tried to find someone without success and the only member of staff around was conducting a quiz for the coach party. Breakfast was good but the staff require some basic training in serving and manners. We left a day early very disappointed. The breakfast staff were too eager to get away on time or do other things rather than concentrate on the guests. At breakfast times I had to ask for clean glasses for the juice, saucers for the coffee cups, a bowl for the cereal, milk and yoghurt. All things that should have been laid out on the tables in the self serve buffet area. I did tell the receptionist all this when we checked out and she did seem interested. The owners/managers really need to take a good look around and look at things from the customers viewpoint rather than what suits them.

Cosy room but comfortable and with a sea view. Shower a bit on the tight side if you’re bigger than average but did have a grab-rail. House-keeping was excellent and the quality of the sausage and bacon used in the cooked breakfast was a pleasant surprise.

I had a fantastic couple of days in Falmouth staying at Membly Hall Hotel whilst settling my daughter into the local university. My room was spacious and immaculate, the staff were welcoming and very friendly, and the included breakfast ranged from continental style to full English. I sat in the sea facing sun room for a few hours and enjoyed a sandwich platter from the bar menu. Happy to recommend this hotel for solo travel, as it was really comfortable and friendly.

Well situated with superb views. Clean rooms, well serviced and helpful friendly staff. The room was very hot and this made sleeping uncomfortable. It would have been nice to have a small fridge as not easy to keep drinks cool. Great breakfast, altogether a good choice hotel. We would definitely come back.

Room smelt very strongly of chemicals, probably a mix of paint and bleach. We also discovered bed bugs in the bed so decided at midnight to vacate the hotel and find somewhere else to stay, at much greater expense.

Good location with parking. The room was near the kitchen so it was very noisy in the morning when they were cooking breakfast. The room itself is dated with few amenities. The throw on the bed had seen better days and the shower door was replaced with a curtain. It's probably due an upgrade at some stage. The staff were all very lovely though. Breakfast was nice but we had nearly finished our cooked breakfast by the time the toast arrived - I guess the kitchen were just very busy.

The staff were extremely friendly. Food was exceptional and piping hot. Lovely selection of continental, fruits and yoghurts. Bed was just perfect, I slept like a log. Had no issues with the internet. Overall a lovely perfect stay. Thank you.

Quiet. Good location . Great views. However very steep flights of stairs to room. No lift. Staff not very friendly on arrival or during stay but happier at Breakfast which was ok. Clean hotel. Would not stay again due to the hike to the bedroom!

Well situated with superb views. Clean rooms, well serviced and helpful friendly staff. The room was very hot and this made sleeping uncomfortable. It would have been nice to have a small fridge as not easy to keep drinks cool. Great breakfast, altogether a good choice hotel. We would definitely come back.

Staff made my stay wonderful. Comfy beds, quiet surroundings, but it was the genuine helpfulness and friendliness of the staff that I’ll remember. Definitely recommend.

In general the hotel is OK and the rooms very clean but we have stayed in much better for much less. The internet was unreliable and slow as well as subject to persistent crashing. The rooms have been recently updated but the quality of the fittings and the actual finish is very poor and below acceptable standards. The wash basin was not fixed properly and the pedestal just stood loosely on the floor without any kind of fixing. Waiting 15 minutes to be served at the bar in the evening is not acceptable. I tried to find someone without success and the only member of staff around was conducting a quiz for the coach party. Breakfast was good but the staff require some basic training in serving and manners. We left a day early very disappointed. The breakfast staff were too eager to get away on time or do other things rather than concentrate on the guests. At breakfast times I had to ask for clean glasses for the juice, saucers for the coffee cups, a bowl for the cereal, milk and yoghurt. All things that should have been laid out on the tables in the self serve buffet area. I did tell the receptionist all this when we checked out and she did seem interested. The owners/managers really need to take a good look around and look at things from the customers viewpoint rather than what suits them.

We stayed here for a night and it was perfect. It is a proper seaside hotel. Directly on the beach with easy access. 15 min walk into town. Pavillion next to the hotel had music on when we stayed. Breakfast and services was great. Parking is free and found space easily

Good location with parking. The room was near the kitchen so it was very noisy in the morning when they were cooking breakfast. The room itself is dated with few amenities. The throw on the bed had seen better days and the shower door was replaced with a curtain. It's probably due an upgrade at some stage. The staff were all very lovely though. Breakfast was nice but we had nearly finished our cooked breakfast by the time the toast arrived - I guess the kitchen were just very busy.

The whole experience was awful. Bed uncomfortable. Staff had attitude.. and breakfast was inedible... Everthing was an argument.. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy..

The staff were extremely friendly. Food was exceptional and piping hot. Lovely selection of continental, fruits and yoghurts. Bed was just perfect, I slept like a log. Had no issues with the internet. Overall a lovely perfect stay. Thank you.

I had a fantastic couple of days in Falmouth staying at Membly Hall Hotel whilst settling my daughter into the local university. My room was spacious and immaculate, the staff were welcoming and very friendly, and the included breakfast ranged from continental style to full English. I sat in the sea facing sun room for a few hours and enjoyed a sandwich platter from the bar menu. Happy to recommend this hotel for solo travel, as it was really comfortable and friendly.

The hotel location is excellent for the beach and only 15 minute walk from the town. Onsite parking was good and the outside area was great for watching out to sea! As with any older hotel, its age is showing and the general fabric of the building good do with some updating. But the staff make up for it! Breakfast had a good range of buffet items and the hot menu extensive.
