Lovely pool and outdoor terrace, and an excellent location. We could walk to good restaurants and shops easily. Bedrooms are small (even the deluxe) but it’s good value for a classy town. Good air con in a heatwave. We’d asked for twin beds but they hadn’t made the beds up with separate sheets but this was soon put right. Friendly staff thank you. Would have preferred a more secure location to leave our luggage. Would be happy to return.

We were in a room in the back area where the gym facility is. The room felt (and smelled) damp but otherwise clean. It is dark due to the one window. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice grounds. Very close to city center, we walked for dinner. The free parking is a great advantage.

The location suited us but really the hotel is like a dated roadside motel. The bed was rock hard & the pillow was more like a lump of wood with a pillow slip on. Breakfast (which we had to pay for on arrival) was very basic & certainly not worth the cost.

Enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff and very nice room with a sitting area outside. Excellent continental breakfast. Would stay there again.
