The property is clean and the code checkin is very convenient. Cost was fair and reasonable. Staff were friendly and efficient. However the property is very dated and would benefit from a good renovation. Carpark is substandard dirt and gravel, and parking bays are not defined. We arrived late at night and found the space left by other guests in front of our room could not fit even the tiniest of cars and certainly not our SUV. Our only choices were to park in front of another vehicle (problem for early departure), park up the street (highly inconvenient), or disturb other guests to move their vehicles a little (there was plenty of room for them to do so).

Comfortable stay in a spacious, clean room in the centre of town. Easy walk to restaurants, cafe's, pubs, shops. Bathroom was small but everything worked ok. No reception, code entry to room. My code had not arrived when I got there after check-in time so had to ring the number on the front door. Email with code then received promptly, but when I got to the room, the door was open anyway. Parking was out the front. Fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee and tea, crockery. The heating works well, plus there are electric blankets. Bed was comfortable and pillows ok. Desk and chair. Quiet and good sleep, except for the morning as it seemed to be close to a noisy cleaners store room. Water pressure and hot water was up and down. Would probably stay again, but in a different room.

Very dated. Not very soundproof rooms, could hear the people in the adjoining rooms talking, coughing and moving around all night. Wooden floor under carpet creaks badly. Noisy internal ac unit in room. There was some god-awful smell in the room, not sure if it was the cleaning products used or what. It was there and just didn’t go away. No plug in the sink, no one on-site to ask for one.

This property is very convenient to the CBD and in particular the Serviceman’s club. Only a short distance to a good selection of hotels where a meal can be had. The room was small, although clean and comfortable, however the road noise was horrendous. Every truck or car that went past was audible in the room making an uncomfortable night. Check-in was unique as a code was sent by SMS with a room allocation. We never saw anyone from the property at all.

I was there less than 10 mins after sunset. No staff onsite. I had to borrowed a phone from a lady (and husband) whom was also waiting to checkin. The hotel staff on the phone kept asking me the 5-digit passcode. Apparently they won’t accept the Expedia number. She refused to grant me my riom details. I had to borrowed the same lady’s husband to make a second call as they had to go to their room #17 first. Eventually, the online staff gave me the door passcode for room 2 where I stayed for a night. Till this day, I have never received any emails from them.

No mention that’s is was an automated check in, no sms received advising codes, took 3 phone calls to get codes, room 30 is stuck right back in a dingy corner, 1/2 roll of toilet paper, maybe 6 tissues left in box, no staff save for some bloke walking round with a scowl on his face like you were nuisance value, $145 for this room is a joke, don’t know who wrote the reviews that i read but hope they were paid well

Loved the check in, very easy, but still like human contact sometimes. Loved the Services club across the road. Chinese food was yum. Loved the walk around town, very quiet and peaceful after a day on the road with idiot drivers. A great place to break up the trip and relax for a while.
