Check-in & check-out were quick. The room was clean, comfortable, & quiet. The entire motel looks like it was recently built. The bathroom was quite large for a motel room. Easy parking. No elevator, though. No breakfast provided, but there are plenty of dining options nearby.

Property is well maintained, but it's worth mentioning there is no elevator to the second floor. So you will need to carry everything up the stairs. Also, there is some road noise, bring a white noise machine and you'll be fine.

We were given a room on a second floor when we have a handicap person and was not informed that there is no elevator. Then we were switched to a room with no windows! The room is musty smelling because the split ac unit was shut off and the filter to it is filthy. I’m concerned we will all get sick from the unhealthy air in the room and that won’t be a good thing for a 90 year old mom. not enough towels in room for 3 people so we had to ask for more. The check in person really didn’t care about our need for no steps. No elevator for second floor should be listed in hotel features so people know ahead of time. Improve the attitude and these other little things and we would give a much better rating.

Anchorage Motel is a hidden gem in Rehoboth Beach! The room was clean and neat, the property well-maintained, and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. On top of that, the price was extremely reasonable, especially during the Labor Day holiday weekend when I was there. I will definitely return.

The staff was very nice. But the room we were originally assigned was not cleaned at all. There were hairs and dirt all over the sink. The bathroom had standing water. Some of the lights in the room were broken. When speaking with the staff about the condition of the room, they politely gave us another room, that was clean. I just don’t feel like for $250/night, the condition of the rooms should be in the state they are in. Everything felt very outdated. Not only the condition of the room, but there wasn’t even a coffee bar available until 8am. I don’t blame the staff at all. They were all very helpful and accommodating. But unless the condition of the place is upgraded and modified, I wouldn’t in good conscience be able to recommend it to anyone.

We stayed one night for our son’s baseball tournament and were looking for a simple, affordable and clean room. Our room was spotless. The carpet looked fairly new and clean. Bathroom was renovated and very clean. Overall, our stay was great and our room was affordable. We would consider staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The only issue we had was the shower had not been cleaned. Hair from previous user as well as a used shampoo still in shower. We decided not to shower because of that but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Everything else was nice.

We thought the hotel was decent for a short stay, but likely wouldn’t stay for longer than two nights. The walls were very thin and the room wasn’t the cleanest (multiple hairs and some stains on the towels). We also found the provided toiletries to be lacking and had to share a very tiny bar of soap between two people, with only shampoo offered for hair. Enjoyed the proximity to the beach, though!

This motel was fine for a one night stay in between stops. It is conveniently located outside Rehoboth near the outlets. The room was damp and the beds very uncomfortable. The property felt safe and the person at the front desk was nice. We would not stay here again but there was nothing objectively wrong with it.

It was our second stay at this motel and once again the rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly. My partner has asthma so we check the filters in the heat/ AC unit and they were spotless. This shows attention to detail as well as concerns about guests wellbeing. You would be surprised at how few hotels/ motels pay attention to this. The Anchorage has earned our business and will be our hotel of choice each time we come down to Rehoboth Beach. It's a great value for the cost.

I liked the ease of making a reservation, that I could stay for only one night, the location near Panera, and the friendly staff. Room was neat and very clean. Also loved the TV selections and ability to watch the Wimbledon semi-finals.

The rooms are adequate and nice. They do a decent job keeping them clean. Management on the other hand is horrible. Somebody complained about noise from my room while I was by myself and there for a funeral. I was only in the room for total of 8 hours over 2 days and got maybe an hour's sleep because the manager was waking me up at 4:30 in the morning. The following day I was harassed again within 10 minutes of coming back from the funeral. Was not a good experience. Management expressway is to blame. I would never stay there again.

We liked the Anchorage, it was clean and convenient to Rehoboth Beach. The only issue is the traffic which is not the fault of the establishment. The traffic is terrible. We ended up taking the bus from the park and ride down to the boardwalk which was great. There is a lot to do right around the Anchorage and the staff were very friendly.

The management should request better access to bus stop. The North-South bus stop is on the other side of Highway 1, a VERY busy road. There is no pedestrian crossing at the closest light (or anywhere else I could see).

We were in the newer part. Room was large, everything very clean. Front desk person very friendly. The shower was great - lots of water pressure & very hot water. Bed was comfortable. Only change I would make is add a couple of hooks in bathroom for towels, clothes, etc. I would definitely stay there again. And Crabby Dick’s next door has awesome crab soup & crab cakes. Excellent stay!
