Cute place however unsure if it was the off season but the area shops were not open on the 3 days we spent here with the exception of Stadtkrug restaurant of which we highly recommend. The room was clean and adequate however the Tv was on a sidewalk and basically unwatchable from the bed angle (good from the desk). There was air con in the room but wasn't able to figure out how to use it

The hotel manager and desk staff were amazing. This hotel is one of the most interesting, with a beautiful interior design. The common areas and hotel rooms were beyond functional and exquisite in their minimalist interior design. The hotel is in a totally renovated 15th century building in the heart of the old town with cobbled stone pedestrian walkways and next to river. This is really a gem in an amazing Austrian town called Hallein and very close to the Eagles Nest and Berchtesgaden, Bavaria, Germany. They also have apartments that you a rent long term for weeks or even months. I highly recommend this property.
