I made a res on Hotels to book Siempre for $264.99. When I arrived at the agreed upon time, Octavio made the check in process so difficult. I had the Visa I used to book the reservation. I have booked hundreds of rooms in my lifetime and travel overseas all of the time. When Octavio processed my card, he plugged in $304.99 into the machine - $40 more than my agreed amount when I made the booking. I called it out and made him cancel the transaction. I asked him with Google Translate (thank goodness I had service) to cancel the transaction and try in a different currency and he refused and told me it would be the same total. That’s just not true and he clearly did not know what he was doing. But instead of trying, he walked away in the middle of assisting me to help two girls who were arriving 10 minutes after me. This is horrible customer service. You don’t just walk away in the middle of helping a customer. The worst part was that he then insisted I had to pay cash, which he took all of my cash, and I did not have enough money to pay my driver to get home and had to stop at 7 ATMs because none of them worked. This was unnecessary if he had just used the Visa on file, processed my transaction for the agreed upon amount. When I complained to the owner, she made up some nonsense about the change in cost due to currency exchange. Absolutely not. Be advised that this hotel has no lobby, little to no staff on sight and a very suspicious check in/payment procedure. Even though we booked and paid through hotels.com, the hotel contacted us and our 2 other friends who also booked, claiming all of our cards had declined. They asked us to pay directly through them, I think this is their way of not paying the fees to hotels.com for advertising. The toilet is slow to flush, there’s mold in the shower and hairs from previous guests all over the floor. The pool was hot like a jacuzzi and tiny. There were 10 kids in it at one point and they splashed and soaked our entire area. The remote fir the tv came apart, and to top it all off, our friends room hand a flood in the middle of the night and because there’s no staff on hand, there was no support until the next day! Complete nightmare and they refuse to help. Our friends left a whole day early due to this fiasco, and when we tried to reach management about the pool situation with the unsupervised kids, we did not get any support from the hotel.

Well, first of all, the place was nice, a great place. The only thing the owener son stays there with maybe 5 children the took up the pool. A lady who lives on the property we were in the pool relaxing; a worker had opened the umbrellas, then a lady out of nowhere came and closed them when we were paying, didn't care that we had our thing now in the sun, and said the umbrellas would get damaged; she did'nt in truduces her slef that what got me mad when we are paying for a service so if you want to relaxed you cant there is so many kids the only person that was respectufull was A worker Name Daniel gracias Daniel sin ti me ubiera ido en horas de que llegue muy buen su servicio I talk with owner and I informed him of our stuation and let me stay to check out till 1pm other than that place was realy nice

Our room was spacious and the views were dramatic. The grounds are beautifully maintained and I highly recommend taking a stroll around the pathways to read the inspirational signage. I didn't come here to get inspired, but I was inspired by coming here.
