What a unique and wonderful hotel attached to the outstanding restaurant downstairs. The staff was wonderful and helpful. There is an outdoor patio and the rooms are very nicely done. There are some stairs and no lift. We really enjoyed our stay there in Cardiff, and would stay again.

Really beautiful hotel close to everything. It has a lovely little seating area with an honor bar and coffee, tea and snacks. Rooms were spacious and well appointed.

Loved the lounge with coffees and honor bar. Bar 44, their sister restaurant around the corner had delicious cocktails and tapas. Parking garage across the street was expensive and difficult to navigate in such tight spaces.

Breakfast food fresh and high standard ingredients aligned to the hotel brand. Given the price point a cooked breakfast option should be included not additional. Fabulous stay in Cardiff. Beautiful room with a big bathroom. Hotel has a separate guest lounge. Coffee and tea freely available in the lounge and an honesty box for a wide range of alcoholic drinks and snacks. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Location is excellent near restaurants and transport. This hotel also has a lovely restaurant downstairs.

The room setup & property was very unique. Pros staff & everything about the area and building. Only con was it was many levels & no elevator, so luggage was a challenge with my large bags from a two week holiday.

Very smart hotel, room very clean, bed pretty comfortable though one pillow was too soft and one too hard, neither quite right. The lounge and terrace for guests to have drinks was nice though that did mean no kettle in the room. Location was very convenient but quiet. You could hear hallway noise and doors closing but only a couple of times. Breakfast was amazing - I'd stay here again just for that. Staff were always very friendly and helpful.

The hotel and theme is beautiful. Very thought out design. The bathroom and bedroom were a good size and beds were comfy. Rooms come with dressing gowns and slippers which was a lovely touch. Especially when unfortunately the fire alarm went off at 5am and we needed something to chuck on quickly. As above, the alarm woke us up at 5am and took a while to be switched off. The porter, bless him was panicking to turn it off. However, no real apologies made or gesture, considering I was wide awake from that time then. Also, despite the quality of the rooms, my room on opening the door smelt fousty. I tried to ignore it but every time I walked in it hit you. Not sure if it was the air con or maybe something on the carpet. I did look in the lounge and terrace but didn’t make use out of it. It was well stocked and lovely and peaceful in there. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. And the staff were great and helpful. I would stay here again even given the mishap with the alarm, it couldn’t be helped

We stayed in the Baròn suite, a stunning room, four poster bed, double shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. In a fantastic location, superb breakfast. We hope to stay again soon and we will definitely be eating at the restaurant.

The staff were lovely and exceptionally thoughtful and helpful. The room was charming and so clean. The lounge and honesty bar were a great place to relax and had some really interesting choices of drinks and snacks. The Spanish breakfast was a unusual with some really tasty choices. I would stay again.

Our whole stay was brilliant - staff friendly, everywhere super clean and tidy, food delicious! The whole feel, decor and ambience made us feel like we were back in Spain (helped along with the unusually warm weather!)

Fantastic room. Clean and very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. The guest lounge with tea and coffee is great. Great location for accessing the city. Far removed from the generic multinational chains on offer.

Nothing not to like about this place. Warm welcome from friendly staff. Light spacious room with huge bed and generous en-suite. Everything spotlessly clean and well kept. Residents lounge was a really nice touch. And the breakfast was simply the best I've ever had.

Great stay in Cardiff city centre. Downstairs is a restaurant but the rooms and decor of the hotel are done to an excellent standard. A few low ceilings, but otherwise a perfect place. Breakfast is good too - would stay here again.

Bed was hard as was the pillows. The noise from the extractor fan outside was very loud and the room was very hot as couldnt sleep with window open due to noise. Shower was style over substance. Water pressure not brilliant and temperature was hot then cold then hot then cold, not constant. Breakfast was lovely and the resident lounge was lovely. The bathroom smellies were great and plentiful and of good quality. Staff were superb.

Great spanish style hotel in heart of Cardiff. Room was huge with lovely bathroom. Manager showed me everything including honesty bar and terrace. Breakfast was lovely perfect size, went for full parador but option also include continental breakfast with juices etc. Staff attentive and considerate. Located just across road from Principality Stadium and 2 mins from Cardiff Castle which makes it ideal. Only slight negative is the noise from bar next door but still worth it.

Hotel was amazing. Staff were so friendly & helpful and when out of Thier way to ensure we could check in a little earlier for my husband's 50th Birthday surprise.

The hotel, staff and breakfast were flawless. The room was stunning, huge four poster bed and a double shower. There is a separate communal bar and outside seating area with an amazingly stocked, private, residents only bar. Every staff member we encountered from check-in to check-out were fantastic and super helpful. They even left a note in our room saying happy anniversary. The breakfast was the best I've had in a hotel. Overnight bacon was something I've never had before, but will be dreaming about for weeks!

The hotel and theme is beautiful. Very thought out design. The bathroom and bedroom were a good size and beds were comfy. Rooms come with dressing gowns and slippers which was a lovely touch. Especially when unfortunately the fire alarm went off at 5am and we needed something to chuck on quickly. As above, the alarm woke us up at 5am and took a while to be switched off. The porter, bless him was panicking to turn it off. However, no real apologies made or gesture, considering I was wide awake from that time then. Also, despite the quality of the rooms, my room on opening the door smelt fousty. I tried to ignore it but every time I walked in it hit you. Not sure if it was the air con or maybe something on the carpet. I did look in the lounge and terrace but didn’t make use out of it. It was well stocked and lovely and peaceful in there. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. And the staff were great and helpful. I would stay here again even given the mishap with the alarm, it couldn’t be helped

Great downtown location, but very quiet. Quirky building with modern updates. Nice upstairs lounge and rooftop sitting area with free hot drinks and alcoholic drinks available. Great breakfast with Spanish influence. Rich was wonderfully helpful at checkin and in the evenings.

We had a lovely stay at Parador 44. This boutique hotel is conveniently located. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely arranged and the super size shower was wonderful. We also really appreciated the "honor bar" and the yummy continental breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!

Coffee and tea freely available in the lounge and an honesty box for a wide range of alcoholic drinks and snacks. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Great spanish style hotel in heart of Cardiff. Room was huge with lovely bathroom. Manager showed me everything including honesty bar and terrace. Breakfast was lovely perfect size, went for full parador but option also include continental breakfast with juices etc. Staff attentive and considerate. Located just across road from Principality Stadium and 2 mins from Cardiff Castle which makes it ideal. Only slight negative is the noise from bar next door but still worth it.

Excellent one night stay whilst attending an event at the stadium. Location excellent for the stadium and city centre bars and restaurants. Staff were exceptional friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, as was the lounge and terrace available for guests. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Lovely room and hotel which was perfect for our stay for a local wedding over the weekend. The breakfast was 10/10 and the lounge area for use by all guests with honesty bar is a lovely touch. We did have a bit of noise outside the room at night to be expected, as it is centrally located but earplugs and eye mask are provided! Would definitely stay again!

Throw in a few mojitos at Bar 44 anrounf the corner and an outstanding breakfast at Asador 44 for a pretty awesome Cardiff weekend break in “Spain away from Spain”.

Nothing not to like about this place. Warm welcome from friendly staff. Light spacious room with huge bed and generous en-suite. Everything spotlessly clean and well kept. Residents lounge was a really nice touch. And the breakfast was simply the best I've ever had.

This was our third stay in Parador 44 as we really enjoy the room style, lounge bar and the best bit has always been the beautiful breakfast served downstairs in Asador. It was my partners birthday which I noted on the booking, there was no acknowledgment of this which would’ve been nice but not a huge issue. The rooms and lounge were lovely as usual, however it was a shame to find out the ‘full breakfast’ included in the room rate is no longer inclusive of a choice from the hot menu as previous, these items are now at a charge which was disappointing as it’s always been a big ‘plus’ to us booking here. The continental breakfast choice is tasty but limited and the experience didn’t feel as ‘full’ or special as it previously has. Perhaps noting a continental breakfast is included in the room rate would be helpful going forward in terms of transparency. Would return, but perhaps not for the price of the room without a hot breakfast option included

This was our second stay here and we stayed in room Flor, we loved our last room but this room was absolutely stunning. Well equipped with little details such as a robe, slippers, cotton pads, ear buds, toiletries, lovely smelling diffusers in the room and a radio. The walk in shower is lovely too! Breakfast was amazing again, we had the cooked breakfast and flamenco eggs, both delicious. I loved that along with the coffee they had cold and hot milk to use, a nice little touch. This will forever be our place to stay when we visit Cardiff! There’s a handing car park right accross the street, and location is perfect as it’s right in the centre and only a few minutes walk to the castle. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

What an amazing find! The room was lovely, comfy bed, bathroom and shower gorgeous. Little touches here and there, lots of thought has gone into what guests might need. Kitchen and lounge area was a lovely surprise, again everything well thought out. Lovely coffee from the machine in the morning and to top it off the breakfast was 10/10. We had the full parador and the scrambled eggs on sour dough, both delicious! And loved the continental options. Couldn’t fault a thing, would 100% stay again should we go to Cardiff again. Thank you for an amazing stay

Parador 44 is a fabulous hotel. There is an instant relaxed & friendly atmosphere from the minute you walk in the door. The staff are an absolute credit to the hotel, they are so attentive & nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are perfect & I loved the concept of the honesty bar. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in a hotel by far & Sunday lunch was delicious too. I can’t wait to return. Thanks for making our weekend so special.

We enjoyed this lovely hotel. It was close to the castle, and restaurants and shopping. The staff were warm and helpful. They were delighted to tell us the history of the building. I especially liked the lounge and the outside, roof terrace for added relaxation.

Quarto espaçoso, simples, silencioso e confortável. Há lances de escada, mas com ajuda dos funcionários para levar as malas. O café da manhã tem poucas opções, mas com possibilidade de pagar para acrescentar produtos. O hotel fica em uma localização excelente, perto dos principais pontos turísticos, de restaurantes e de lojas. A cidade é bastante agradável. Valeu muito conhecer.
