New, clean & attractive building. Odd room layout - toilet is in the shower, and shower only has half a glass door, so everything gets wet. Breakfast on the rooftop was decent and nice. The location is adjacent to new construction - not too noisy during our stay, but also not the best view. Hotel is outside of the beach town so had to drive a nearby beach. Parking was covered and ample, but spaces were tight. Would likely stay within the beach town next time, but we needed parking.

This is not a property to book without a car. It is a perfect location to sleep and then explore. There is one beach walking distance which is horrible for heavier or older people - rocks are sharp, easy to fall, or sprain your ankle. Feedback on hotel: - the hotel elevator was not working which was a pain for my parents who were in their 70s to walk up and down the stairs with luggage - the hotel did not have enough staff to run the restaurant on the rooftop; we ordered whatever they had but the food was bland and expensive; the rooftop does have a beautiful view of sunsets over the water; breakfast had everything for everyone and was decent - modern and clean interiors; rooms & bathrooms are spacious; cheap bed linens & pillows; rooms do not have a safe; some balconies have a place to sit & others do not like ours; it did have a fridge which was great to keep water & drinks cold - the noise: horrible! Monday & Tuesday nights at 12am got woken up by fireworks from the next door restaurants celebrating birthdays; we thought they were bombs going off how loud it was; completely ruined our sleep; there is a lot of construction going on around the hotel but that was not loud surprisingly - the staff: the main manager or owner was kind and polite; the front desk staff - one lady was nice and another incompetent; unable to communicate or provide direction or help with the elevator that was broken

Hotel neuf, tres agreable, proprete irréprochable, rooftop avec le restaurant parfait, vue superbe sur le coucher de soleil Petit bemol, on a louer une chambre avec vue sur mer mais cetait plutot une vue partielle car immeuble juste en face.... et le balcon pas amenage, pas de table ni de chaise ce qui est fort dommage Hotel avec Parking mais vite complet, difficile de se garer.

No beach view. Room was clean and modern however they use false advertising - the room we booked had clearly the sea view on the picture - upon check-in we discovered that the only view was another building, definitely not the view they show on hotels.com. Albania is one giant construction zone but they shouldn’t be advertising/selling something that does not exist. After long negotiations with the receptionist we got a room on a higher floor with limited sea view but different type of bed (worse) that we booked and two glasses of house wine. The rooftop restaurant has a nice view. Breakfast was fine by Albanian standards. We went to the restaurant for dinner celebrations, ordered food (lots of great reviews on internet) only to discover after long wait that the chef quit the day before and the staff left was cooking only some dishes - the pork chops were poor quality, squid was ok, in general not the quality one might expect from price and reviews. The good things were the view and the waiter. There was parking garage in the building.

The property is new with nice amenities. Room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was also great. It's also close to the beach. The check in and check out process was smooth. Underground parking was available. Gerti, the manager of the Valza hotel was very welcoming and accommodating.

Hotel Valza is beautiful and quiet. I liked that the hall lights were activated when someone was there, so they weren't on all night long. Breakfast was delicious, and the chefs of Eden were so accommodating. The parking garage was only inaccessible once when we returned late at night.

Friendly welcome from reception staff, helpful information and met requests made. We asked for chairs for balcony and drinking glasses for room, which we thought could be provided as standard. Seaview from room's balcony on 5th floor and lovely sunset views from rooftop restaurant. Eco-incentive offered-skip room service for the day in exchange for 2 free beers on the rooftop. Unfortunately our room didn't get cleaned on the one day we declined this offer. No prior notice that hotel is surrounded on 3 sides by construction, although minimal noise disturbance for us as we were out most days and this is obviously out of control of hotel. Free parking was included and good location for exploring along the coast by car. Located out of busy main town with beach and many restaurants, but lovely traditional tavern directly across main road where we ate twice, as well as a convenient mini market on hand.

Absoluter Geheimtipp! Hier stimmt einfach alles! Das Hotel liegt in 2. Reihe zum Strand. Wir hatten eine Suite mit Meerblick vom Bett. Die Garage und der angrenzende Aufzug macht den Transport des Gepäcks sehr angenehm. Nach dem Check-in wurden wir vom Hotelmanager sehr herzlich und persönlich in Empfang genommen. Die Ausstattung des Hotels und der Zimmer ist sehr hochwertig und gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind bis aufs letzte Detail sauber und werden jeden Tag gereinigt bzw. aufbereitet. Das Frühstück ist für albanische Verhältnisse sehr umfangreich. Was uns besonders gut gefallen hat sind die persönlichen Reisetipps vom Hotelmanager. Er hat sich jeden Tag nach unserem Wohlbefinden erkundet und tolle Tipps fürs Entdecken der nahen und etwas ferneren Umgebung gegeben. Diese Art von Service haben wir sonst in Albanien nirgendwo erlebt! Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Würden wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

We really enjoyed our staying at this hotel. Super clean room and bathroom. Great breakfast. Wonderful service too, the staff were very helpful and welcoming especially the owner of the Hotel. The location is about 10 min away from the centre. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was OK. The windows were a bit dirty on the outside because there was a birds nest on the outside. I like the fact that they let the birds nest there, and didn't get rid of them. When we went for a drink in their restaurant in the evening, even though a lot of personel was attending, apparently no one was able to make cocktails. Not even an aperol spritz. Also a few other items which we try to order that were on the menu we're sold out. We also ordered some food, but after waiting for about half an hour, the waiter explained that the kitchen still needed to start on my dish, and wanted to know if would still want it. We declined. Since our room was right below the breakfast area, each morning at 7u30, we were woken up by the sound of moving furniture above us.

Hôtel 3,5 étoiles... qui les vaut. Restaurant et petit-déjeuner très bien avec son rooftop sympathique. Bonne chambre avec literie. Draps un peu bruyants. La salle de bain n'est pas à la hauteur avec un évier un peu bouché et une grille d'évacuation de la douche qui n'est pas adaptée à l'évacuation. Les joints commencent à souffrir. Dommage pour un hôtel de 2020. Enfin localisation dans une zone en pleine construction. Quant au statut de boutique hôtel, nous n'avons pas perçu la valeur ajoutée. Bref pour le prix, nous avons connu bienmieux (tour d'Albanie en deux semaines). Cela reste néanmoins convenable.

Seaview from room's balcony on 5th floor and lovely sunset views from rooftop restaurant. Eco-incentive offered-skip room service for the day in exchange for 2 free beers on the rooftop. Unfortunately our room didn't get cleaned on the one day we declined this offer. No prior notice that hotel is surrounded on 3 sides by construction, although minimal noise disturbance for us as we were out most days and this is obviously out of control of hotel. Free parking was included and good location for exploring along the coast by car. Located out of busy main town with beach and many restaurants, but lovely traditional tavern directly across main road where we ate twice, as well as a convenient mini market on hand.

Die Garage und der angrenzende Aufzug macht den Transport des Gepäcks sehr angenehm. Nach dem Check-in wurden wir vom Hotelmanager sehr herzlich und persönlich in Empfang genommen. Die Ausstattung des Hotels und der Zimmer ist sehr hochwertig und gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind bis aufs letzte Detail sauber und werden jeden Tag gereinigt bzw. aufbereitet. Das Frühstück ist für albanische Verhältnisse sehr umfangreich. Was uns besonders gut gefallen hat sind die persönlichen Reisetipps vom Hotelmanager. Er hat sich jeden Tag nach unserem Wohlbefinden erkundet und tolle Tipps fürs Entdecken der nahen und etwas ferneren Umgebung gegeben. Diese Art von Service haben wir sonst in Albanien nirgendwo erlebt! Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Würden wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und direkt unten hat es einen kleinen Markt, um die nötigsten Sachen zu kaufen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Man fühlt sich wohl und willkommen. Das Frühstück war auch immer sehr lecker und das mit einer hervorragenden Aussicht aufs Meer von ganz oben. Dieses Hotel kann ich definitiv weiterempfehlen!

New, clean & attractive building. Odd room layout - toilet is in the shower, and shower only has half a glass door, so everything gets wet. Breakfast on the rooftop was decent and nice. The location is adjacent to new construction - not too noisy during our stay, but also not the best view. Hotel is outside of the beach town so had to drive a nearby beach. Parking was covered and ample, but spaces were tight. Would likely stay within the beach town next time, but we needed parking.

The room was OK. The windows were a bit dirty on the outside because there was a birds nest on the outside. I like the fact that they let the birds nest there, and didn't get rid of them. When we went for a drink in their restaurant in the evening, even though a lot of personel was attending, apparently no one was able to make cocktails. Not even an aperol spritz. Also a few other items which we try to order that were on the menu we're sold out. We also ordered some food, but after waiting for about half an hour, the waiter explained that the kitchen still needed to start on my dish, and wanted to know if would still want it. We declined. Since our room was right below the breakfast area, each morning at 7u30, we were woken up by the sound of moving furniture above us.

This is not a property to book without a car. It is a perfect location to sleep and then explore. There is one beach walking distance which is horrible for heavier or older people - rocks are sharp, easy to fall, or sprain your ankle. Feedback on hotel: - the hotel elevator was not working which was a pain for my parents who were in their 70s to walk up and down the stairs with luggage - the hotel did not have enough staff to run the restaurant on the rooftop; we ordered whatever they had but the food was bland and expensive; the rooftop does have a beautiful view of sunsets over the water; breakfast had everything for everyone and was decent - modern and clean interiors; rooms & bathrooms are spacious; cheap bed linens & pillows; rooms do not have a safe; some balconies have a place to sit & others do not like ours; it did have a fridge which was great to keep water & drinks cold - the noise: horrible! Room was clean and modern however they use false advertising - the room we booked had clearly the sea view on the picture - upon check-in we discovered that the only view was another building, definitely not the view they show on hotels.com. Albania is one giant construction zone but they shouldn’t be advertising/selling something that does not exist. After long negotiations with the receptionist we got a room on a higher floor with limited sea view but different type of bed (worse) that we booked and two glasses of house wine. The rooftop restaurant has a nice view. Breakfast was fine by Albanian standards. We went to the restaurant for dinner celebrations, ordered food (lots of great reviews on internet) only to discover after long wait that the chef quit the day before and the staff left was cooking only some dishes - the pork chops were poor quality, squid was ok, in general not the quality one might expect from price and reviews. The good things were the view and the waiter. There was parking garage in the building.

The property is new with nice amenities. Room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was also great. It's also close to the beach. The check in and check out process was smooth. Underground parking was available. Gerti, the manager of the Valza hotel was very welcoming and accommodating.

Was seduced by the previous 10/10 rating but was left disappointed. Nice modern hotel but service was lax. For example breakfast was supposed to be served from 8am but was not ready at all at that time and clearly it was in demons as at least 10 people were left waiting. Equally booked a suite and part of the deal was to have 2 free drinks as part of deal- we’re not forthcoming and despite feedback to that effect heard nothing !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Valza, rooms were clean, beds large and comfortable, walk in rain shower and a sea view balcony. Breakfast included cake, eggs, bread, sausages, crepes, jams, cereal, yoghurt, coffee etc. Evening meal can be had at the restaurant and was delicious. The best bit though was the owner, he really couldn't do enough to help us, including planning itineraries, recommending locations and restaurants and generally doing everything he could to bake sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel – moderne Zimmer, aber leider von Baustellen umgeben Das Hotel an sich hat definitiv Potenzial und macht einen sehr guten Eindruck – besonders die Zimmer sind hervorzuheben: Sie sind modern eingerichtet, stilvoll gestaltet und bieten einen hohen Komfort. Man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf zeitgemäßes Design und Sauberkeit gelegt wurde. In dieser Hinsicht gibt es wirklich nichts zu beanstanden. Allerdings wird dieser positive Eindruck etwas getrübt durch die Umgebung: Ringsherum befinden sich zahlreiche Baustellen, was teilweise mit Lärm, Staub und einer eher ungemütlichen Atmosphäre einhergeht. Man bekommt deutlich das Gefühl, dass sich Albanien gerade intensiv auf einen wachsenden Massentourismus vorbereitet – ein Eindruck, der sich sowohl im Stadtbild als auch im Umfeld des Hotels widerspiegelt. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt betrifft leider das Frühstück. Die Auswahl war insgesamt eher enttäuschend – es gab nur eine sehr begrenzte Auswahl an Speisen, sodass man sich schnell sattgesehen hatte. Der Kaffee war für mich persönlich ungenießbar, was besonders schade ist, da ein guter Kaffee für viele Reisende zum gelungenen Start in den Tag gehört. New, clean & attractive building. Odd room layout - toilet is in the shower, and shower only has half a glass door, so everything gets wet. Breakfast on the rooftop was decent and nice. The location is adjacent to new construction - not too noisy during our stay, but also not the best view. Hotel is outside of the beach town so had to drive a nearby beach. Parking was covered and ample, but spaces were tight. Would likely stay within the beach town next time, but we needed parking.

Very nice hotel and excellent service. Only minus is that it’s 40 min walking distance from lungo mare, so you have to take a taxi. Otherwise it was good, and beautiful beach nearby

This is not a property to book without a car. It is a perfect location to sleep and then explore. There is one beach walking distance which is horrible for heavier or older people - rocks are sharp, easy to fall, or sprain your ankle. Feedback on hotel: - the hotel elevator was not working which was a pain for my parents who were in their 70s to walk up and down the stairs with luggage - the hotel did not have enough staff to run the restaurant on the rooftop; we ordered whatever they had but the food was bland and expensive; the rooftop does have a beautiful view of sunsets over the water; breakfast had everything for everyone and was decent - modern and clean interiors; rooms & bathrooms are spacious; cheap bed linens & pillows; rooms do not have a safe; some balconies have a place to sit & others do not like ours; it did have a fridge which was great to keep water & drinks cold - the noise: horrible! Monday & Tuesday nights at 12am got woken up by fireworks from the next door restaurants celebrating birthdays; we thought they were bombs going off how loud it was; completely ruined our sleep; there is a lot of construction going on around the hotel but that was not loud surprisingly - the staff: the main manager or owner was kind and polite; the front desk staff - one lady was nice and another incompetent; unable to communicate or provide direction or help with the elevator that was broken

Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti del nostro soggiorno presso questa nuova struttura, sita a sud di Valona (per arrivare in città serve la macchina, così come per andare al mare, ma stanno costruendo il lungomare anche in questa zona in pieno sviluppo). Questo ha comportato qualche difficoltà logistica visti i tanti cantieri aperti intorno all'hotel. Il primo punto a favore del Valza è stata lo staff: si sono fatti letteralmente in quattro per esaudire ogni nostra richiesta, e con una bambina piccola al seguito non sono state poche. Certo, non tutto è stato perfetto, ma come ci ha spiegato lo stesso proprietario (molto simpatico), l'hotel è nato tra le mille difficoltà del covid, e piano piano stanno sistemando tutte le situazioni in sospeso, che in realtà sono dettagli. Per il resto l'hotel ha un ristorante sul rooftop con vista sul mare, un piccolo ma grazioso giardino accanto alla hall con tanto di bar e un parcheggio riservato. Le cose da sistemare? Lo sterrato intorno all'hotel e nell'area parcheggio (quello non dipende da loro), la doccia (serve una porta e una mensolina per appoggiare la roba, per il resto il bagno è perfetto!), la rampa d'accesso, troppo scivolosa e magari munirsi di qualche seggiolino per bimbi. Stop, tutto il resto è stato eccellente, e ripeto, laddove non lo sia stato, il personale si è fatto veramente in quattro per noi. Siamo stati bene e ci torneremo, anche considerando che il prezzo pagato è stato ottimo rispetto all'offerta.

Can’t wait to get back to Valza Boutique Hotel and Vlore! Love the location - away from the crowds in town, great sea view from our balcony, short walk down to lovely beach with great restaurant. The breakfasts feature fresh fruit and nice selection of treats, several ways to eat eggs, yogurt, crepes, breads, traditional offerings, cereal, coffee and baristas on hand for special requests (with small charge for those delights). The hotel staff is so thoughtful: one morning we were late for breakfast and the barista remembered i loved the Portokali cake and had set aside the last two pieces, in case they had run out! Everyone extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely strong recommendation. Supermarket just around the corner super convenient. Parking below the hotel. So easy to have a delightful comfortable easy visit to use as your base when visiting beaches, Vlore, Bérat, we swam in the Vjosa (last wild river of Europe!) from Memaliaj where we paid equivalent of $5 for an hour’s use of super comfy bed on a rocky beach of the river, visited old ruins of Ali Pasha’s Palace in Tepelena - just a gorgeous drive there and back! Great place!

Friendly welcome from reception staff, helpful information and met requests made. We asked for chairs for balcony and drinking glasses for room, which we thought could be provided as standard. Seaview from room's balcony on 5th floor and lovely sunset views from rooftop restaurant. Eco-incentive offered-skip room service for the day in exchange for 2 free beers on the rooftop. Unfortunately our room didn't get cleaned on the one day we declined this offer. No prior notice that hotel is surrounded on 3 sides by construction, although minimal noise disturbance for us as we were out most days and this is obviously out of control of hotel. Free parking was included and good location for exploring along the coast by car. Located out of busy main town with beach and many restaurants, but lovely traditional tavern directly across main road where we ate twice, as well as a convenient mini market on hand.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und direkt unten hat es einen kleinen Markt, um die nötigsten Sachen zu kaufen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Man fühlt sich wohl und willkommen. Das Frühstück war auch immer sehr lecker und das mit einer hervorragenden Aussicht aufs Meer von ganz oben. Dieses Hotel kann ich definitiv weiterempfehlen!

The room was OK. The windows were a bit dirty on the outside because there was a birds nest on the outside. I like the fact that they let the birds nest there, and didn't get rid of them. When we went for a drink in their restaurant in the evening, even though a lot of personel was attending, apparently no one was able to make cocktails. Not even an aperol spritz. Also a few other items which we try to order that were on the menu we're sold out. We also ordered some food, but after waiting for about half an hour, the waiter explained that the kitchen still needed to start on my dish, and wanted to know if would still want it. We declined. Since our room was right below the breakfast area, each morning at 7u30, we were woken up by the sound of moving furniture above us.

Room was clean and modern however they use false advertising - the room we booked had clearly the sea view on the picture - upon check-in we discovered that the only view was another building, definitely not the view they show on hotels.com. Albania is one giant construction zone but they shouldn’t be advertising/selling something that does not exist. After long negotiations with the receptionist we got a room on a higher floor with limited sea view but different type of bed (worse) that we booked and two glasses of house wine. The rooftop restaurant has a nice view. Breakfast was fine by Albanian standards. We went to the restaurant for dinner celebrations, ordered food (lots of great reviews on internet) only to discover after long wait that the chef quit the day before and the staff left was cooking only some dishes - the pork chops were poor quality, squid was ok, in general not the quality one might expect from price and reviews. The good things were the view and the waiter. There was parking garage in the building.

L’hôtel, tout neuf, séduit par son design soigné et ses équipements de qualité. Si la vue depuis notre chambre donnait malheureusement sur un immeuble en travaux, le reste du séjour a largement compensé ce petit bémol. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, varié et copieux, parfait pour bien commencer la journée. Mention spéciale à la terrasse du restaurant, offrant une vue absolument incroyable sur la mer, et aux plats servis au dîner, d’une qualité remarquable. Une adresse à retenir pour allier confort, gourmandise et panorama exceptionnel.

Vue sur un immeuble en construction heureusement quil ny avait pas douvrier car la fenetre de la sdb n'étant pas opaque cela aurait etz gênant. Lit super dur. Petit déjeuner correct mais peu de choix et si vous voulez autre chose qu'un cafe faut payer. Restaurant correct mais hormis un petit endroit dégagé la vue est gâché par datre immeuble.

A very new hotel (2022). Everything is in working order. The room is spacious. A nice small garden next to the bar downstairs. As we were there just before season, no dinner at the rooftop, only breakfast. The view from room 505 is superb! Breakfast is adequate but not lavish.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Valza, rooms were clean, beds large and comfortable, walk in rain shower and a sea view balcony. Breakfast included cake, eggs, bread, sausages, crepes, jams, cereal, yoghurt, coffee etc. Evening meal can be had at the restaurant and was delicious. The best bit though was the owner, he really couldn't do enough to help us, including planning itineraries, recommending locations and restaurants and generally doing everything he could to bake sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Valza, rooms were clean, beds large and comfortable, walk in rain shower and a sea view balcony. The reception staff weren’t very friendly, the room was a good size but the view was of a half built hotel. Not that we would have sat on the balcony anyway because there were no chairs or table!!! Also no kettle, broken bin lid and smell from the drains every time you open the door. I would recommend staying on this side of the town but not in this hotel 😂

A bit away from the city centre (4km), but absolutely a lovely location for couples and/or families. The service was amazing, as was the food. We had the best time here and would absolutely recommend. The view from the rooftop bar was incredible as well.

Valza Hotel was a good choice of hotel for our stay in Vlore. Clean, modern hotel with very helpful staff. A safe in the room, a kettle and bath robes would be useful.

This is a nice place; just don’t stay on the 5th floor. The restaurant on the 6th floor keeps you up all night & then it wakes you up for breakfast. I guess you don’t need an alarm clock. The moving of chairs and tables all day long is enough to drive you crazy.
