The location and the amenities of this hotel are 5-star! Located across the street from the Victoria Market and all its food and retail shops. The hotel also has a rooftop view, an indoor pool that is warm, and useage of laundry machines, including free detergent.

We had a great stay at Veriu Queen Victoria Market. Our favourite things that made our stay more convenient were the still/sparkling water taps in the lobby (great for filling water bottles!) and the free guest laundry on the 2nd floor!

Service was not as attentive as other hotels.e.g, there were no guest towels in the pool area, there was now way to notify reception of the need for towels. My wife had to go in the elevator to reception whom didn’t really seem fussed by the lack of towels.

Parking is used by events at hotel leaving no space at times for guests who have booked and paid in advance for parking. Car park security was a negative issue while staying. A car was broken into on the day of an event at the hotel

My 5th or 6th stay here I think, it's always a great spot with great transport links and amazing staff. The hotel itself is super convenient if you're travelling for work as the lobby acts as an office away from home with the added benefits of a stocked bar and 4-6 daily happy hour! You're also right next to QVM which is perfect for breakfast/lunch and generally strolling around. The hotel also has communal laundry which is actually nice to put on before bed and wake up to fresh clothes in the morning without the noise of a dryer in your own room. The rooms themselves are spacious and feel luxurious, beds are incredibly comfy and showers are large. One of my favourite places to stay in Melbourne.

Very good location, just next to Victoria market. You can get good food for breakfast every morning. Easy accessible and convenient transport. Just not satisfying with the cleaning conditions. The room got urinary bad smell when we entered. I believed the housekeeper don’t clean the toilet everyday . One mug is also dirty.

The room wasn’t clean, the air conditioning was dirty it seems like it has never been clean, the sheets were stained, the bathroom fan didn’t work. Very disappointed with this hotel, absolutely it is not a 4 star hotel.

Leider war das Zimmer schon bei ankunft nicht wirklich sauber. In den 5 Tage von unserem Aufenhalt wurde das Zimmer auch nicht wirklich gereinigt. Frische Handtücher gab es an zwei Tagen einfach nicht mehr. Auch als wir nachfragt haben sagte uns die reinigungskraft es gibt keine mehr. Im Zimmer hatten wir aber au keine mehr… Alle Mitarbeiter am Empfang waren immer sehr freundlich was wir sehr geschätzt haben.

Room was fine but as with many rooms it had little clothes storage or hanging space, which is a bit of an issue when you are touring with two full suitcases. The bathroom facilities were a bit odd with the wash basin situated outside of the bathroom. Having said that the hotel was clean and the staff excellent.

Excellent stay overall. Extremely well appointed hotel room with everything you could ever need for a comfortable stay. Guest laundry for free was also a plus. The ONLY letdown was the noise in the morning from the QV Market setting up at around 5-6am.

New apartment but had to ask four times for another towel (housekeeping took two and left us with only one), they also have rooms that face the markets which look nice and get light, and the the rooms we got which look straight at another building and get no light.

It was my first time staying in Melbourne. Unfortunately the Veriu was just okay - I asked for an iron and ironing board 3 times - nothing ever showed up in 2 days so I gave up. Ended up having to wear the same clothes multiple days in a row as my other pants were super wrinkly. I made a mistake with late check out manager was quite inflexible. It was an honest mistake, and I understand why she made the call to charge me. I wouldn’t stay again personally. It was clean and amenities were nice.

Checkin was a little stressful at 1am. Had been assured prior that it was easy access after hours. No one was there. Attempted to use the night call system but no-one answered. Just by chance another guest had come down stairs to reception to attract the attention of the night staff who was seated elsewhere on his laptop. He claimed he did not hear the night call. Bit of a false start but happy with the room and facilities overall. Staff friendly and were able to assist storing our luggage in lieu of a later checkout. So handy to the market and there is a beautiful French bakery down the alley next door to the hotel.

Overall look and feel is nice.. Booked a carpark and no directions to get in prior so needed to pay for parking whilst I checked in. Then they incorrectly charged me and it took several calls on my behalf and almost a week to get a refund. With no explanation as to why they used my credit card details in the first place Wouldn’t stay again

Large very clean and comfirtable room, full kitchen in the room with a stove and an oven. Very comfortable temperature, very quiet. Large pool, loved it. Also, thank you for storing our luggage before and after our stay, really appreciate. Very convinient location just over the market. In the centre of everything, we walked to all attractions by foot. Great dining options nearby and some great shops, from kmart to H&M, Zara, etc.

If you are staying in the Melbourne CBD, look no further. This is the hotel. It’s is a gorgeous hotel that is close to everything- restaurants, cafes, the Queen Victoria market, trams, trains- everything. Our stay was just delightful. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a happy hour in the lobby every night from 4pm-6pm where you can sit with a $4 beer or wine and people watch through the large glass windows. The showers were just fantastic! Large and with a huge rain shower faucet. I cannot speak highly enough about this property. When we come back to Melbourne I won’t even look anywhere else-I’ll just book the Veriu at the QVM! It’s that good!!!!

The hotel is staffed by friendly and attentive people. While we didn't fully leverage them, the room was equipped with a very complete small kitchen. The market is only a 1/2 a block away and we took advantage of that to get great fruit, bakery and snacks for in the room breakfast and as road food while we were on bus tours. Saved us from some mediocre options. Hardware street is a non-traffic street with many good small restaurant options and is less than a 15 minute walk from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Melbourne, especially if you plan to stay for a while and want some wholesome food options at hand. More so if you like/don't mind to cook.

Das Hotel liegt direkt neben dem Queen Victoria Market mit vielen Möglichkeiten einzukaufen und zu essen. In 3 Minuten ist die Tram zu erreichen, mit der man kostenlos in die weitere Innenstadt fahren kann. Unser Zimmer war schön groß mit einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, die wir aber nicht genutzt hatten. Verfügbar war außerdem ein Gym und Waschmaschine und Trockner. Das Hotel verfügt über kein Restaurant, aber eine Bar/Cafe und bietet kostenlos Wasser an. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Excellent room and location However description on Expedia site is out of date as the hotel no longer offers a cooked breakfast and while it does have frozen meals for sale it does not have a convenience store However would definitely recommend for a stay in Melbourne

Located right in the heart of Queen Victoria Market, we had amazing access to restaurants, cafes, and the market itself just steps from the door. The tram was only a short walk away, making it super easy to get around the city. The unit was a fantastic value—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with a built-in kitchen, fridge, and stovetop, which made our stay even more convenient. Would definitely stay here again.
