Small, intimate, few frills but super modern and clean. Trendy in a laid back kind of way. No AC but giant fan and huge openable door length windows - so no need. Room wasn’t huge but didn’t feel small. Perfect size. Warm staff. And above all: location. Location. Location. La Condesa. Quiet side street near everything. Great tacos up the block. Bars nearby. Saint bakery around the corner. Ámsterdam Ave and the parks - less than 5 min walk. Such a small hotel overall: would be perfect to take over for a large family gathering or bunch of friends (Downside, if it matters: 3 floors but no elevator).

This was an amazing place. Great location, safe and peaceful. The staff was so kind and nice. Comfy bed. Spacious room. Also very clean..i loved my stay here. Only thing is that it has no elevator, but the staff was amazing at carrying our luggage. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was a hidden oasis. Facilities were nice. Only feedback I have is I would have liked a mini fridge in the rooms. However we enjoyed our stay.

The staff at Casa Luciana were so friendly and always ready to provide excellent service. The rooftop lounge and spa area were a pleasant surprise, and the rooms were chic and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The hotel and rooms are stunning, with very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, and TVs. The rooftop area is fantastic, and we enjoyed using the hot tub. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent. We had a great stay.

When you pay 500 USD per night there are things you expect. We arrived at 8:00pm to a place that had only one person working. We wanted to have some dinner at the room but that wasn’t available l. I ordered some hot chocolate that I had to fetch and bring to my room, while entering the room there is a very thin step that I didn’t notice and I fall, spilling the chocolate on the floor and on the duvet. I went down to ask for assistance and there was no one. I cleaned as best as I could using a towel. Next morning, only one staff member taking care of everything including making breakfast. We were hungry but the poor guy asked if we could wait for half an hour. When we returned, more than half on the few options were no longer available. After I left and without previous notice, the hotel charged me an extra 1500 pesos to clean the hot chocolate spill. I tried contacting the manager but it was a waste of time. The place might look nice on the pictures, but the rooms and the bed are smaller than expected. The Terrance had no service and the jacuzzi was empty. With so many nice places to stay at Condesa, I recommend you use your money wisely and go elsewhere.

Quiet boutique hotel in La Condesa. Staff was very accommodating and the room was spacious and clean. Feels more like staying in a small bnb than a hotel, which was lovely. Neighborhood around the hotel is also pretty quiet and very walkable, a few blocks to beautiful parks. Would definitely go back.

Casa Luciana was one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences I’ve had in recent times. Upon arrival, we spent several minutes at the door trying to ring the doorbell, which was not working properly. The staff’s reception was impersonal and unwelcoming. There is no elevator. The room, in my view, had dust in the corners and was not cleaned properly. Don’t expect any welcome message or anything of the sort. There is no minibar or air conditioning in the rooms, only a ceiling fan. You receive water in a jar upon arrival, with no indication of its source or quality. We accidentally locked the bathroom door, which got locked from the inside. When we asked for assistance at the front desk, we were handed a container with 200 unmarked keys, left to try each one until we could open the door. When we ordered sparkling wine from the menu, we were informed that none was available. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working, and consequently, neither was the television. Breakfast was supposed to start at 8:00 am, but on the third day of our stay, we left at 8:00 and walked past the breakfast area, which was completely inactive. Two guests were waiting for someone to arrive to start the breakfast service. The room cleaning service basically makes the bed. Used glasses and cups are left exactly where you put them. I have never seen service like this—awful. I would never return and do not recommend it for anyone who expects even minimal attention during their stay. Positives: bed, linens, towels and shower

This is a nicely managed property with a wonderful service. Room is a bit outdated but clean. It's difficult to rate this hotel after being in a five star hotel the night before so my view is skewed.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was so friendly and kind to us. The hotel was styled beautifully and the room was so clean. The breakfast was included every morning and was absolutely delicious. 10/10 would stay here again.

This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time! The staff was friendly and hospitable, the rooms were clean, the location was fantastic. Overall loved this hotel.

Pros: everything brand new, felt luxurious. Great location for walking around La Condesa. Excellent breakfast, beautiful rooftop terrace. Cons: no air conditioning, we had to leave the windows open to cool off and that made it noisy. Staff didn’t explain how to order food or drinks during the day.

Beautiful hotel, clean and the staff was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and we loved the terrace. The shower was amazing. Based on the price we would’ve thought the sleeping conditions would’ve been better, you either had to have the door to outside open which made it very loud or close the door but then the room got quite warm.

We loved staying here for our trip to CDMX. I would stay here for the rain shower alone. The property was tidy, breakfast was good, and we booked a spa experience for our anniversary, which was wonderful. I would recommend all my friends who visit CDMX to stay here. We took Ubers around and everything was in close proximity within a $5-10 Uber ride. There is a fan in the room. The only one small complaint I’d have is the pillows, but I am picky about my pillows. My husband and I like pillows to be plump and comfy (like most of us would have in our homes). While there were multiple pillows available on the bed, none were quite comfortable to sleep with. That’s something I find at most hotels, so I can’t fault them for that. I just need to be diligent about taking my own pillow to places. After all, sleep is the most important thing when you’re staying away from home. Other than that, everything else at this hotel was spectacular.
We loved staying here for our trip to CDMX. I would stay here for the rain shower alone. The property was tidy, breakfast was good, and we booked a spa experience for our anniversary, which was wonderful. I would recommend all my friends who visit CDMX to stay here. We took Ubers around and everything was in close proximity within a $5-10 Uber ride. There is a fan in the room. The only one small complaint I’d have is the pillows, but I am picky about my pillows. My husband and I like pillows to be plump and comfy (like most of us would have in our homes). While there were multiple pillows available on the bed, none were quite comfortable to sleep with. That’s something I find at most hotels, so I can’t fault them for that. I just need to be diligent about taking my own pillow to places. After all, sleep is the most important thing when you’re staying away from home. Other than that, everything else at this hotel was spectacular.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The hotel and rooms are stunning, with very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, and TVs. The rooftop area is fantastic, and we enjoyed using the hot tub. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent. We had a great stay.

We had a medical emergency and they called an ambulance they were very caring and responsive. In the chaos (not the hotel staff, they were not in the room) police or ambulance stole our wallet. I will stay here again.

Communication was terrible. I tried to contact them through various different means over several months beforehand and got no response. I then had to have guests who were leaving let us in upon arrival as we were stuck on the street with no comms as to how to get in. The room itself was nice (though freezing) and the staff were very friendly. However, again, there was a major communication issue the day we were leaving. We stored bags and made clear we would be back at 9pm however on our return the staff on shift had not been made aware of this and the masseuses had locked our bags in the room they were working in and refused to open the door. The poor staff member tried but they outright ignored him. Why on earth these people did not apply common sense and remove the bags beforehand is beyond me. It took over an hour of us pleading and trying to get the bags to the point they were asking if we could get our commercial flight moved back an hour?? We finally got our bags and luckily managed to get our bags checked in at the airport after explaining the situation. This was beyond ridiculous and despite being a great place on the face of it, the horrific communication means I would not recommend this to others.

Casa Luciana was one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences I’ve had in recent times. Upon arrival, we spent several minutes at the door trying to ring the doorbell, which was not working properly. The staff’s reception was impersonal and unwelcoming. There is no elevator. The room, in my view, had dust in the corners and was not cleaned properly. Don’t expect any welcome message or anything of the sort. There is no minibar or air conditioning in the rooms, only a ceiling fan. You receive water in a jar upon arrival, with no indication of its source or quality. We accidentally locked the bathroom door, which got locked from the inside. When we asked for assistance at the front desk, we were handed a container with 200 unmarked keys, left to try each one until we could open the door. When we ordered sparkling wine from the menu, we were informed that none was available. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working, and consequently, neither was the television. Breakfast was supposed to start at 8:00 am, but on the third day of our stay, we left at 8:00 and walked past the breakfast area, which was completely inactive. Two guests were waiting for someone to arrive to start the breakfast service. The room cleaning service basically makes the bed. Used glasses and cups are left exactly where you put them. I have never seen service like this—awful. I would never return and do not recommend it for anyone who expects even minimal attention during their stay. Positives: bed, linens, towels and shower

Loved the decor, comfort of the room, and especially the staff. Most of the staff do not speak English but thankfully there's Google translate. The manager is very responsive to text via Whatsapp. Breakfast and drinks were delicious. This was our first trip to Mexico City and discovered that many places don't have a/c. Casa Luciana kindly provided us with a standing fan which we greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this place.

The staff was wonderful here! I had mentioned that it was my birthday when I arrived and they remembered! I was treated with un globito in my room and they sang happy birthday to me at breakfast! So very nice of them. The location in La Condesa is very central and easy Uber rides to all tourist spots. The hotel also was well maintained and tastefully decorated. I would recommend to everyone and would stay here again on my next visit.

Mi estancia en Casa Luciana fue, lamentablemente, muy decepcionante. El proceso de check-in fue especialmente frustrante; nos tomó más de tres horas y media, durante las cuales el trato del personal fue distante y poco profesional. El personal de recepción no sabía usar una terminal bancaria!!! La falta de empatía y atención hacia los huéspedes fue evidente, y no parece haber suficiente personal calificado. El problema se agravó por la ausencia constante del gerente, quien nunca estuvo disponible para abordar nuestras inquietudes. Esta falta de supervisión se refleja en la mala calidad en la atención al HUÉSPED ese debería ser lo principal en su protocolo. Sumando a esto la carpintería de las habitaciones es muy mala, que resulta en un ambiente ruidoso y poco cómodo. En resumen, el hotel no cumplió con las expectativas y no recomendaría este lugar basado en mi experiencia

Quiet boutique hotel in La Condesa. Staff was very accommodating and the room was spacious and clean. Feels more like staying in a small bnb than a hotel, which was lovely. Neighborhood around the hotel is also pretty quiet and very walkable, a few blocks to beautiful parks. Would definitely go back.

Pros: everything brand new, felt luxurious. Great location for walking around La Condesa. Excellent breakfast, beautiful rooftop terrace. Cons: no air conditioning, we had to leave the windows open to cool off and that made it noisy. Staff didn’t explain how to order food or drinks during the day.

El servicio dejó que desear en estos aspectos: 1.- no existe una persona encargada de cocinar sino que todos los que atienden en hotel, que normalmente son solamente dos personas, son quienes preparan las bebidas y los alimentos. Casa Luciana is a small boutique hotel in a great location. This is not your typical big chain hotel. Pretty sure there are only 8 rooms. Our room and stay there was great. Staff was friendly with no issues at all during the 5 nights we were there. Just note they do not serve dinner there, pretty sure it is only breakfast which is included with your stay. The check-in process was odd, not bad, just not something we have done before. No issues checking out, quick review of the additional items, we had a bottle of wine 2 nights and massages at the spa. If your looking for a quiet boutique hotel, I would highly recommend this one.

When you pay 500 USD per night there are things you expect. We arrived at 8:00pm to a place that had only one person working. We wanted to have some dinner at the room but that wasn’t available l. I ordered some hot chocolate that I had to fetch and bring to my room, while entering the room there is a very thin step that I didn’t notice and I fall, spilling the chocolate on the floor and on the duvet. I went down to ask for assistance and there was no one. I cleaned as best as I could using a towel. Next morning, only one staff member taking care of everything including making breakfast. We were hungry but the poor guy asked if we could wait for half an hour. When we returned, more than half on the few options were no longer available. After I left and without previous notice, the hotel charged me an extra 1500 pesos to clean the hot chocolate spill. I tried contacting the manager but it was a waste of time. The place might look nice on the pictures, but the rooms and the bed are smaller than expected. The Terrance had no service and the jacuzzi was empty. With so many nice places to stay at Condesa, I recommend you use your money wisely and go elsewhere.

DO NOT STAY HERE! And if you do, do not leave and cash/ wallet in the room!!! ALL THE MONEY WAS STOLEN OUT IF MY WALLET AND CREDIT CARDS WERE MOVED AROUND. We just finished our stay here. I left my wallet in the room the entire time of our stay. The day before we checked out I went to grab some cash out of my wallet and all the cash was gone. It was over $220 US currency. Also credit cards were moved in my wallet. When reported, the response was “there is no evidence any member of our staff accessed or took your belongings”. No apology or true investigation to resolve, just a complete denial. So do not stay here unless you want your bags rummaged through and money stolen. The response to this event along with no water to our room on the first night of our stay made for a horrible experience here.

Casa Luciana is truly a hidden gem in Mexico City. If you’re looking for a large luxury hotel with a gym, multiple restaurants, and endless amenities, this isn’t that—and that’s exactly why we loved it. Casa Luciana feels like staying in your own beautiful home. It’s peaceful, intimate, elegant, and incredibly welcoming. Instead of feeling like just another guest, we felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s home. What makes this place so special is the people. While it’s a small boutique hotel, the staff is absolutely exceptional. They are available whenever you need them day or night, and they consistently go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. Every interaction felt genuine, thoughtful, and personal. Their hospitality is truly unmatched. The rooms are beautiful, spotless, and comfortable, and the location in Condesa is perfect for exploring one of the best neighborhoods in Mexico City. After a day of sightseeing, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax. We also enjoyed several meals at the hotel, and every one was delicious. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, and exceeded our expectations. We also treated ourselves to massages jacuzzi and they were absolutely incredible professional, relaxing, and one of the highlights of our stay. We honestly fell in love with Casa Luciana. It has a warmth and charm that’s hard to find, and it created an experience we’ll never forget. If you appreciate personalized service, beautiful design.
