Silver Shells St. Maarten #1405

Property was nice. Very few towels and toiletries for party of 6. Had to buy supplies and wash towels by 2nd day. Used to sign in at location. Each year Silver Shells seems to use different partner and distance to hotel is farther away. Very time consuming at 4pm sign in time.

Air conditioner not in good working order. Mold in master bathroom. Floors were Grimy and dirty. Light shades are breaking apart. Cooking non stick pan needs to be replaced. If we were staying in a low cost unit this may be more understandable. I feel it would be appropriate to get a $1000 refund for the inconvenience. I should have to be dealing with this. You should always have someone check the unit before guess arises.

On line it said 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella included. I was charged $325 instead .

The condo was nice. Had to clean up a few things but nothing major. Had problems with manager though. Just needed one extra wrist band so everyone could sit at pool without getting kicked out. Took manager two days to get it to us, even though we were told we’d get it first thing in the morning after our arrival. Not a bad place employees are nice and it’s a great view.
