Eas satisfactory on all parts, although air conditioning wasnt on in rooms, other than that, would happily stay thete again.

Absolutely disgraceful. Hotel has advertised parking available and yet they have parking for approximately 20 cars. Spent almost 2 hours there and eventually gave up and booked a room at a different hotel as it was getting late and I needed to get some sleep! Will never book a room at a thistle hotel again!

100 pound for 2 nights. Not to bad. Single room on 9th floor. Only one working lift to ages to get up and down. Although free coffee downstairs. Tea making facilities in the room would of been useful especially as a disabled person. Breakfast was free. Not bad for the price however not enough seating i ate my breakfast stood up. Also be aware of car park charges. 10 pounds a night unless you have blue badge. Honest the hotel needs some investment. Carpets need to be clean. Probably wouldn't stay again.

All good, one night stay, free tea and coffee in the foyer but I would rather have a kettle in my room. Proper human check in.

This is a 10 story hotel with lifts not working. The one lift in action is not working properly, it does not come to the floor when called for some time and it drops off on a different floor to the one selected. I informed staff last night, nothing done, I informed staff this morning who did not take this seriously. THIS IS UNSAFE.

Nice hotel for a reasonably priced short express stay when needed . Nothing fancy but convenient and staff are friendly and helpful. They have parking which is convenient but its quite small . We were lucky to grab a spot.

Great location right outside the mall and 5 minute walk to Luton Station and the bus depot. Check-in was very straightforward. Nice touch was the complimentary free hot drinks machine in the lobby. Parking was £10 for 24 hours and I could go in and out but is on a 1st come, 1st serve basis.. Got offer to upgrade to executive king but the bed was the size of a regular double bed but glad I upgraded... Classic room has really small single bed and the double room had what seemed smaller than a small double. Breakfast was included and had a good selection of food.

The area is quite grim, rough sleepers, drug users and almost no police presence. This is Luton and I know it well, I never felt threatened but I could understand some would. Luton Council have made many improvements recently. The staff are very nice and doing a great job. The room was actually pretty good. Breakfast was decent quality, the 24hr coffee machine in reception is a nice touch. On the negative side only one lift was working, the staircase and some of the communal carpets need cleaning. I am happy with the stay and if I had to return to Luton I would stay here again.

Room is nice and the stay was good. But the property doesn't have parking. We must do paid parking externally. Breakfast was really good. They offer tea and coffee at all time.

The lift certainly needs sorted. It stopped on a floor that once out the lift looked like a building site! Then the lift didnt work for us to get back in. my family and another guest eventually found a service door leading to steps. My 3 young child were terrified. A security guard did find us and showed us some of the way after we had to lift my daughter in her wheelchair down the stairs. In the end a man who worked in the kitchen took us to reception. We had no time to make a complaint as the time we had wasted meant we had less time to get to the airport. Staff said the lift sometimes does that!!

Unfortunately I booked through the Hotels.com app and I paid more than the basic thistle express room thinking I was getting a bigger bed. Turns out I had the basic single room. As usual. The staff are brilliant. The bed is comfortable. And the rooms are spotless. It won’t stop me staying again. In fact I’ve already booked for Christmas week.

Dreadful hotel, very dirty, smelly, shower not working properly.

Hotel was generally not very clean, paint peeling off of walls in the room, there was some sort of liquid spilled down the wall, several items of rubbish on the floor, elevators disgusting etc. Good if on a budget and only need a bed for a night but any more than that and wouldn’t recommend. Was going to return as in the office again for a week in September but likely won’t be now. Breakfast was quite disgusting.

Great location. Staff on arrival were very friendly and helpful. First impression of reception was modern and clean. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was so comfortable.

We were really impressed with the hotel, the staff and the room until we came across a bed bug on the sheets along with a spot of blood! We were checking out very early and didn’t see any staff to raise it with so I contacted the hotel via private message to inform them. Since then, I have found a cluster of bites on my shoulder and the hotel is now no longer replying to me after previously promising a 50% refund. I wanted to give them a chance to resolve this privately but as responses have stopped I’ve decided to write this publicly in the hope that it will receive the attention it needs.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, good Wi-Fi. Stayed overnight.

For two agonizing nights in room 615, I endured a horrific infestation of hundreds of bed bugs and other insects, leaving me with relentless itching and wounds on my skin that persist seven days later. This unbearable experience is a warning for anyone considering a reservation there.

The room was very hot and Sue on wasn’t working. Had to have window open which made it noisy. Bed uncomfortable and bathroom very small. Very small car park. Had to use public car park bottom of ramp. Hotel very basic Very badly sign posted and difficult to find. Won’t be using again

Shower didn't work properly and pillows very uncomfortable. The room was too hot and couldn't find any way to turn heat down. Breakfast was OK. It's very convenient for town centre and train station.

Great location, offering exceptional value for the price. The room is clean and well-maintained, featuring a comfortable bed; however, an improvement in shower pressure would be beneficial. It is a £15 Uber ride to Luton Airport and just a five-minute walk to the Luton train station.

My room was very tiny with a single bed, but since it was just for me, it was fine and can’t beat it for the price. It also included a buffet breakfast in the morning and is about a 5 minute walk to the train station where you can catch a train or a bus to the airport in Luton.

It was a very hot day and the air conditioning was not working. We could not open the window and only had one small fan circulating hot air. We both had a very poor night’s sleep in a hot box! We were offered no compensation for this. If we had of known prior to arrival we would have cancelled and not stayed at this hotel.

The hotel is tired and dated, there was no air conditioning in the room and judmst a plaque saying its not working. The carpets were dirty and stained. However, it was more than okay for a night and for what we paid. It also came with breakfast which surprised me.

Outside noises due to poor window isolation

Quick stopover prior to taking flight from Luton, Next to square and can be noisy from outside. Not the hotels fault. Reception was good. The room was basic but clean. There was no coffee making facility in the room. There was coffee in the lobby. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows even less so. All in all if I have to, I will go again

Wondwrful staff. I arrived at night very tired. Staff made me instantly welcome, still smiling and polite despite the hour. Explained everything about breaksfast, free coffee etc. Room very comfortable and slept well. Breakfast: there was plenty as well as many staff to ensure fully stocked and dirty plates removed. Checkout was quick and again done with a smile. The price for this hotel in the town centre was cheaper than those nearer the airport but still close by. And breakfast was included whereas most of the others charge extra, making the value even better. I was not expecting much out of the hotel based on the price and was very pleasantly surprised. Quality was very good, but the key point has to be the staff. They are a credit to the hotel.

Low cost option with everything we needed for a short stay. Friendly staff and good location.

A great welcome when checking in. The staff had a lot thrown at them and they managed beautifully. Both coffee machines giving up on the same day one of the lifts broke down and a large group of overseas visitors arrived. They arranged hot water for drinks and the kitchen staff worked really hard keeping the buffet stocked. My double room was large and comfortable

Staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. Electrical wiring was questionable - no lights in bathroom, no air conditioning working, fans offfered as alternative didn’t work either. Lifts were not working and when my wife asked for assistance from staff to bring luggage down 5 flights of stairs, they responded with “can’t you do it yourself”! Outside of hotel was a gathering ground for homeless. Will never set foot within 2 miles of this facility again! Worst hotel experience of my life.

Staff were helpful

Good value for money, nice and clean facility, friendly staff. However, the location of the entrance is rather unusual. Google map didn’t know how to direct me there on foot from train station. Also the area around it was quite dirty, noisy, and feels rough and unsafe. The best and safe way on foot is through the shopping centre, which is right next to the hotel entrance.

Difficult to find the entrance using google maps on foot from the Train Station. Close to all amenities, busy hotel but fit for purpose in a short stay.

So I was a little wary of this hotel because of some of the views but the hotel itself once I found it was quite adequate. Firstly though it is so hard to find. The sat nav well forget that it takes you in the opposite direction. We found it because two kind ladies helped us. But you have to go across a kind of car park and up some old steps and at 12 midnight it’s a bit scary and not lit up. There were scary men gathered in a corner as we were going towards the steps too so please be careful at night. Once we arrived we were greeted by a very kind man who quickly had our room key ready and pointed out that there was tea coffee and hot chocolate available if we wanted it. So a nice hot chocolate I grabbed as we were wet through courtesy of the typical British weather. The room was a nice size but obviously carpets were dirty but the bathroom was clean and the beds were comfortable. We only stayed one night so for us it was fine not luxury but adequate. Breakfast was reasonable. Coffee was good and flowing. The food was only warm but there was scrambled eggs beans sausage etc. There was also cereal fruit yoghurt and toast . The staff looked a little miserable in the morning but honestly they were more than happy to help. All in all we had an ok stay here and if ever needed again for a quick pit stop I would stay here.

Excellent value in a central location. Free WIFI, breakfast and tea/coffee. Staff are always helpful and friendly (especially the guy on reception. Rooms are small but perfectly adequate. Bed was one of the best I've had in a hotel. The only negative is the location. Not the most pleasant.

Really handy for central Luton

Centrally located in the town centre and near railway station. Nice clean room, Wi-Fi, comfortable and excellent complimentary breakfast.

Excellent value with good breakfast included. Convenient for the station making it an ideal base for our visit to London.

We stayed here after a very delayed flight home from our trip. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. However, breakfast was not great. The kitchen were having trouble getting food out, so it had all run out by the time we went for breakfast at 9. There wasn’t even any bread for toast! This was very poor. Also two of the staff had several arguments in front of everyone about their job roles which was very awkward!

Overall stay was satisfactory only downside you have to keep asking for refill at breakfast.
