Very convenient location, not fancy but the price was very fair, amazing pillows, fridge, freezer, microwave (tv, too, but we don't care about that). Great water pressure, small but nice bathroom. The pull-out couch showed signs of wear but the room was clean, and given that this is a beach town, it was clever to not have carpets. We were given a room with direct access to green space for our dog, which shows excellent attention to customer needs. My one and only 'complaint' is that the lead photo for this listing is not of the location itself, but rather the concession stand at a nearby beach. It is a 5-minute drive from the beach so that was a bit deceptive (it ended up raining so it turned out to be no big deal). The cute restaurant next door (Route 66) has excellent breakfast for very reasonable prices and across the road, Pump House has truly excellent food (and drink) for WAY less than expected and is open late. Perfect for a good night's sleep when you're in Shediac for something other than hanging around at your motel room.

The property is lovely. The indoor pool is lovely with some pool toys for kids to use. There is a beautiful outdoor deck with chairs and chimineas and some outdoor games. The deck has a lovely view and nice spots to sit. The room was a pretty standard hotel room with two queen beds. It was helpful to have a small fridge. The inn has a few sections. Our "motel style" section was separate from the section with the pool so we had to walk outside to get to the pool (a bit cool in the evening but not a big deal). The dining options looked good though we didn't try them.

The mini kitchenette was great and well equipped. The rooms were modern and cute. Parking was abundant and convenient right outside our door with and an extra spot we could move the outdoor furniture to and enjoy the sun with our morning coffee. Walking and biking to Parlee beach made easy as driveway near the cottages at the gas station next door led to a trail leading to the beach.

The property had all of the amenities for a longer stay, with a toaster, fridge, microwave, etc. They even had dishes and cutlery, There was a laundromat as well. It was a very good location to your the Shediac and Moncton area.

Staff are friendly and checkin was super easy. Good ol' fashion keys for the rooms instead of key cards so double check your key cause one of ours didn't work, that was the only down side but it didnt bother us. Rooms were always made up and you had a little kitchen (stove top, minifridge, sink, counter, table) with pots, pans, toaster and coffee maker in each room. Highway and Parlee Beach are about 5 minutes from the hotel and the restaurant attached serves a great and inexpensive breakfast. Be sure to check out The Fisherman restaurant next door and giant lobster down the road.

Very nice place - must be a hit during the summer time. Our room is perfect - hot plate - microwave - fridge with freezer. Very clean and well set up. Close (walking distance) to many restaurants - good tips from staff!

If you’re looking to travel back to 1975 then this is the hotel for you. The hotel photos do not accurately reflect what you’re getting. The rooms are old and grimy and have a mildew smell the second you walk in, the bed is practically on the floor and the comforter if you can call it that, is just a sheet. The ac next to the bed goes off every 5 minutes and it’s insanely loud and the walls are so thin that you can hear conversations from the hallway and other rooms as if they were in the same room. One of the patio doors does not lock and they don’t give you that information when you check in. After spending one night here my boyfriend got pink eye so we requested housekeeping to do our room and they came in our room changed our towels but left the bed and bathroom completely untouched. The following day our room was fully done however, we returned back to the hotel at 9pm and our room door was fully open where anyone could’ve walked in and stolen our stuff. We also found a pair of socks and shoes that do not belong to us in the room. The owner of this place does not care about the people who stay here or their experience, as long as the rooms are occupied. As I proceeded to politely explain that this was not the experience I was expecting from the photos online, he responded with “I can’t do anything for your level of expectation”. The only competent person who works here is the girl at the front desk who is kind and understanding. If you are looking for a dingy, dirty

Check in was fast and the gentleman was very pleasant. Great location. The room is updated but they didn't change any of the bedding! There was hair and dirt all throughout the bed. Floors were not swept or mopped. Hair was on 2 towels. No coffee maker. We will not stay there again!

Unfortunately this place doesn’t have high standards of cleanliness. Our infant was crawling on the floor of our room and her hands and feet were absolutely blackened by the dirt. We washed her hands and feet multiple times- it appears the floor hasn’t been washed in a long time. Our socks became filthy. The smell of cigarettes is deeply embedded in everything. It’s hard to tell if the room has been smoked in or it’s from the other hotel residents who stand outside the doors smoking cigarettes and weed. The sounds from the neighbouring rooms (mainly the banging and clanging of the shower and water facets) was a constant disturbance. I appreciated the friendliness of the front desk staff when we checked in.

This is a very old motel and not sound proof at all. You can hear people showering and moving around. I though the beach was closer, judging by the pictures on the website, but it is too far to walk. That felt misleading. the staff were wonderfully accommodating and helpful. Threadbare towels and basic cable. Good restaurant attached to motel.

Rooms have clearly been renovated...very nice. Would recommend shortening the curtains to not cover baseboard heaters as the weather gets cooler for efficiency and safety

The arrival date on our reservation was changed by someone at the inn so when we arrived late in the evening, we found that there was no rooms available. We were then sent to a horrible motel that was a few minutes down the road - one that we were assured was on par with the Auberge Shores Inn - it was not! I had to call the Inn back to tell them that there was no way we could stay in the dump that they sent us to. To the Manager of the Auberge Shore's credit, he did not argue and booked us in a hotel that was acceptable to us. Check in the next day was relatively smooth although having to check out of one place and check in to another room put a dent in our limited time in the area. The room was small, beds were uncomfortable unless you like mattresses that you sink into, no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels, and the a/c was very loud. We opened the windows to get a break from the loud A/C only to discover that the windows did not lock and we were in a ground floor room. This was a security concern and we had to ensure that there was nothing of value left in the room during our day trips. For the price we paid, you would have expected at the very least, complimentary tea or coffee.

The picture of the property lies. It is on the main road which is very noisy and busy with traffic. Sliding door to balcony had condensation water taps were very stiff. Balcony view was of garbage containers. Room was crowded and upstairs with a hard schlep for luggage as there was no elevator.

We had a very nice stay at the shores inn. Every extra thing we needed we got in a matter of minutes really. The room was freshly renovated, it was nice. We had a room with a kitchenette and it had the minimal things we needed. We especially liked that the motel was 5 minutes from Parlee beach. The owner was very nice and all the personnel was very helpfull.

We opened the windows to get a break from the loud A/C only to discover that the windows did not lock and we were in a ground floor room. This was a security concern and we had to ensure that there was nothing of value left in the room during our day trips. For the price we paid, you would have expected at the very least, complimentary tea or coffee.
The arrival date on our reservation was changed by someone at the inn so when we arrived late in the evening, we found that there was no rooms available. We were then sent to a horrible motel that was a few minutes down the road - one that we were assured was on par with the Auberge Shores Inn - it was not! I had to call the Inn back to tell them that there was no way we could stay in the dump that they sent us to. To the Manager of the Auberge Shore's credit, he did not argue and booked us in a hotel that was acceptable to us. Check in the next day was relatively smooth although having to check out of one place and check in to another room put a dent in our limited time in the area. The room was small, beds were uncomfortable unless you like mattresses that you sink into, no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels, and the a/c was very loud. The front desk has limited hours. The first room we got was a double queen with no outdoor space which was pretty good, the bathroom faucet needs replacing...it's old and only turns full on or full off since it's so stiff. The second room was a King drive up style with chairs to sit outside. There need to be hooks to hang things since there is no counter space in the bathroom. The bathroom faucet although updated, only ran hot water. The motel was less than 2k walk on the park trails to Parlee Beach (after going through a few parking lots) which was nice and shady. I would stay again.

Place was lovely the only disappointing thing was that on Expedia says 2 minute walk to Parlee Beach and that’s incorrect it’s about 25-30 minutes. That was our main reason we booked with Auberge that we would not have the extra expense of paying beach fee by walking.

Beau motel propre et rénové que je recommande. Par contre, la route pour se rendre à pieds à la plage est dangereuse pour des piétons. Comme on est à 15 min. De marche et que le stationnement est 20$, c'est un peu frustrant de devoir prendre la voiture.

The picture of the property lies. It is on the main road which is very noisy and busy with traffic. Sliding door to balcony had condensation water taps were very stiff. Balcony view was of garbage containers. Room was crowded and upstairs with a hard schlep for luggage as there was no elevator.

This property is a great location - quick drive into see the giant lobster & some excellent restaurants. Toiletries provided are minimal and there is no coffee option at all - not in the room or at the office. Also no hairdryer. But all things we got over bc it was clean and had a great location.

Air conditioner was going full blast when we checked in. This gave us a comfortably cool room as we arrived, but the system was noisy so we unplugged it for the night. Not a problem, but not convenient. Restaurant (a separate operation) closed before 8 pm, so we headed to a sushi place a couple of km down the road. Breakfast in same hotel restaurant began after 8 am, so again, we headed elsewhere before driving on the next leg of our journey. This is an older motel, adequate for our needs and easily located (hence, "convenient"), but we\'re glad we had a car to drive to places to eat. Shediac is a beach town, offering much in activities that we were not interested in -- we were just passing through.

Staff are friendly and checkin was super easy. Good ol' fashion keys for the rooms instead of key cards so double check your key cause one of ours didn't work, that was the only down side but it didnt bother us. Rooms were always made up and you had a little kitchen (stove top, minifridge, sink, counter, table) with pots, pans, toaster and coffee maker in each room. Highway and Parlee Beach are about 5 minutes from the hotel and the restaurant attached serves a great and inexpensive breakfast. Be sure to check out The Fisherman restaurant next door and giant lobster down the road.

Almost everything that caught my eye with this hotel when I booked it was exactly what ended up being terrible about it. Restaurant closed. Spa closed. Spacious rooms cramped. Relaxing bathrooms where in fact the toilet fill valve leaks and refills every 20 minutes. What was supposed to be a relaxing and nice getaway ended up with a noisy AC unit right by the bed, door locks impossible to open because they use physical keys, and a balcony that simply stares out into the parking lot and straight into the doors of other hotel guests. The soap, shampoo, towels, bed, pillows, and toilet paper were all the cheapest you can get. In the morning, it came as no surprise to find the ice and vending machines out of order. The WiFi was brutal (30 Mbps download, 4 Mbps upload) and spotty. The owners of this establishment have some work to do. The staff were excellent however; very helpful and the cleaning staff did a great job ensuring everything was a nice as they could make it with what they were given.
