It was a great place for small budget trip.

Do not book this hotel. I arrived very late after a 12 hour bus ride. Noticed a couple of bugs on the floor at that the bathroom had rubbish on the floor and was grimy, but it was so late that I just wrapped myself in my jacket and went to sleep. Had a tour the next day, didn’t get back until 10.30pm. This time - found the place crawling with bugs, and all over my bed! It was so horrific I packed my things and immediately went downstairs and translated to the girl at the desk. I said I was leaving and please could I be refunded (I had booked two nights, so this was night 2). She didn’t even apologise or acknowledge the issue (or seem surprised) but just gave me a key to another room. I said absolutely not. She refused to refund me and I had to just leave to go to my new hotel because it was 11pm. I sent footage and images to Expedia who were extremely unhelpful, just kept asking over an over if I wanted to ask the hotel for a refund (uh - yes?) - they then didn’t refund me saying it’s the hotels discretion. I also got a message from the hotel after I followed up with them before writing this review in which they refused to accept blame AGAIN and said that I left before they were able to ‘sanitise’ the room - which was infested with bugs - at 11pm. So my fault then! Unbelievable. Terrible experience.
