The hotel’s location is not convenient. Taxi to the mall is a 30 minutes ride. The beach is not good at all. The sand is burning hot and the water is boiling. The pool was cooler but had no shade. Also inside the pool there were parts reserved for exclusive use only by people who have rented a cabana. So the real usable part of the pool is much smaller than the pictures. Breakfast was good. Overall, I will not stay again at this hotel nor in this location. There are many great hotels with better views and facilities.

Superb service from all of the staff, especially the Manava restaurant. Very quiet room and amazing family apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Great range of food options in the Manava restaurant but the food everywhere was brilliant. Wi-Fi is great everywhere even on the beach. As the resort is so huge there are buggies to transport you if needed. Fantastic gym and pool side service. Can’t fault anything! Great experience!

Excellent stay. We a family of four stayed in the 2 bedroom family room. Great layout, balcony and wonderful view of the palm. Room super clean. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Wonderful beach and pool and well-themed resort. We were on half-board, food was really good, soft drinks quite expensive. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has improved greatly since our previous stay back in 2018. The Lounge for guests who stay in Suites has been relocated to the ground floor and has a huge terrace outside with lots of comfortable seating, and inside attentive staff providing excellent food and drink options throughout the day. The beach was excellent - especially at this time of year where the heat is far more comfortable and the sea temperature was still lovely. We spent most days on the beach as it was so relaxing. All food options in the hotel were used and we enjoyed taking advantage of the Half Board Dine Around that we booked to try them all - Zoya by Maui, by the beachside serving lovely Indian food was our favourite

Staff was first rated always eager to provide top tier services and facilities were great, two things I noticed and I would suggest to change. 1. Main swimming pool should be reserved adults only, there is enough swimming pools suitable for children and non that provide adult only peace and quiet. 2.I understand asking for room number during the meals but asking it for every single thing, daily even lounge on the beach it becomes very annoying. But overall experience was very good,excellent.

Resort is wonderful and we enjoyed the restaurants, the pool and the beach. Apartment itself could have been handed over and maintained better. Bidet was not functioning properly and guest toilet close to entrance didn't have towels. Master bedroom stand shower had faulty seal and floor slope was towards shower door causing water to accumulate. Little things that are annoying and not expected from a 5 star resort, especially when you are paying them a ton of $$. Also I'd booked a sea facing resort and they have me a resort view. Check-in was delayed by almost 30 min and we had to wait. However on last day due to one of my family members health issues, the manager was gracious enough to give us a late checkout. Barring some issues, overall stay was pleasant and relaxing. Next time will explore a different resort/ hotel in the Palm.

Half board food was excellent, all the restraints were great. The staff at the hotel can’t do enough for you. Breakfast buffet had everything. The pool and beach was very good and relaxing, loads of beds available. The water sports m, sea camels are worth a go. All in all a great experience, thank you. Would gladly go again.

Low rise on 3 levels so not like the other very high rise hotels nearby. Gives hotel a more homely scale and size. Staff are all fabulous and helpful. Palm view back towards Dubai is a great feature especially at night. Laguna beach bar sun set during happy hour sat in comfortable sofas is a must. Sand on the beach is just perfect specification chosen not to stick lol. Restaurants are expensive but good quality. Free bus into town is 40 mins and picks up at other hotels and only drops off at the big shopping Mall. Taxis quicker for approx Aed 50 or £12 uk you can easily get to Dubai marina and multiple bars and restaurants. This hotel is very relaxed and favoured by families with young children but has adult only areas as well. Birds are a bit of a problem feeding off tables at times. So if you have a Hitchcock phobia, be aware at any hotel this happens on the Palm. On the whole I preferred this 3 floor hotel rather than being in a massive high rise hotel waiting for a lift on floor 25… way more chill and easy.

We stayed in the Sofitel Dubai The Palm with our three children. We had an amazing stay. The resort is just stunning with a number of pools and beach. It is a really relaxing resort, so much so you don't really want to leave it. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We received a really warm welcome when we arrived. We have stayed in Dubai a number of times and this was definitely the best hotel we have stayed in. The food was incredible . We dined in The World Eatery, The Porter House, Moana and Laguna on the beach. We had fantastic meals and service there. We would definitely recommend dining at Laguna. We had a very romantic meal by candle light there one night. All the staff were so friendly and helpful especially Brighton at Laguna and all the staff at Olivers. Olivers served lovely pastries and a wide selection of teas. Lovely to sit there and watch the world go by. The spa was so relaxing and I had a lovely afternoon there. I had an amazing facial and back massage with Rachel. The kids club was a great hit with our 11 year old who was reluctant to go in at first. He didn't want to leave it as they had a great play area for older children and apparently the best slide ever! It has a courtesy bus to the Mall of the Emirates but we generally preferred getting taxis. It is in an excellent location right beside the Atlantis Royal which is within walking distance and the Atlantis water park. We really loved our stay there and are looking forward to returning there

Had issues with ants in the bed that the hotel sent someone round to sort but following morning they were back, called Them again they said they will come around again but never did. Ali and Samuel on concierge and front door were fantastic always happy and ready to help anytime, only bad part involves taxis please get a price first as you will get ripped off 100 dirhams to go to Atlantis which is 1/2 mile away, next taxi charges you 12 dirhams! 150’dirhams to airport was bumped up to 350’dirhams and when challenged says its hotel price, really only disappointing about the stay at hotel is the taxis that pick you up from there again just be careful

Im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels, ist Sofitel veraltet und Renovierungsbedürftig. Das Zimmer war feucht und miefte. Alle Kleider waren danach feucht und rochen unangenehm. Lavabos waren undicht und tropften auf den Boden. Kleiderschrank zu klein und stickig. Im grossen und ganzen ist das Hotel nicht zu empfehlen. Preis Leistung auf keinen Fall gewährleistet. Etwas positives ist der Poolbereich und das Kaffee.

I give 3 instead of 5 because: - I booked for 5 person, but we dont have beds for everyone, then I need to pay for one extra bed (700+), and the mattress is very bad. - there are 2 bathrooms and the hot water is not enough, just 10min of hot water - I payed for half board, but I not informed that I have just 3 adult menu, and the others 2 needs to be kids menu.

Amenities were very good within the resort. Most restaurants are good but we found Maanava great for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to see the options and variety of cuisines on offer. We stayed in a one bed apartment that was big enough for our family of 4 with 2 kids. A practical consideration would be to raise the separation between shower area and rest of the bathroom. Everyday a huge amount of water would just come out of shower after each shower. Second consideration should also be to put more towel rails (perhaps heated) in the area so that people could spread their wet towels that can be reused easily. Kitchen area lacked any cutleries but their were items available for cooking. On day 3 of our stay there was a terrible smell throughout the bedroom of the apartment which was later pointed by another lady residing in the same wing. We did report this but they just apologised.

Very large accommodating family apartment style rooms, full kitchen and washer combo dryer in room as well. The master bedroom was very nice and spacious, however I would have preferred a softer mattress as the one we had was extremely firm and made it uncomfortable to sleep on my side. My family and were very pleased with our stay and loved how lovely and welcoming the staff were.

We were extremely disappointed with Sofitel Dubai The Palm. This did not feel luxurious and everything felt dated, worn, and overpriced for what you get. Our 2-bedroom ground-floor room was old-looking and unattractive, with cheap furniture/curtains, lots of wear and tear, and only one working charging point in the master bedroom. Wi-Fi was poor. The bath looked nice but there wasn’t enough hot water to actually fill it. Check-in was unhelpful and we weren’t given clear information, especially about half board. The half-board system was confusing and restrictive — no drinks were included, not even water, and everything felt like an upsell. Food was average at best. Breakfast was chaotic and crowded, and the coffee was awful. We ordered iced Americanos and received something that tasted like dishwater (and didn’t even include ice). We were also directed to a “less crowded” breakfast that had far less variety despite being marketed as the same. The main pool setup was disappointing and it felt like you needed to pay extra for a cabana to properly enjoy the area. The “adult quiet” zone was basically concrete and loungers. Our final-night dinner at the Asian restaurant was ruined by terrible acoustics and screaming children at every table. Housekeeping was also late (often around 3:30pm), so we missed servicing when we returned from the pool. Overall: tired property, confusing policies, poor food/coffee, and service lacking polish. Not a 5-star experience.

Sofitel The Palm Dubai offers a peaceful, relaxing environment, perfect for a getaway. We were initially assigned a room with a limited view of the palm, but after speaking with Reception, they moved us to one with a much better view, which was greatly appreciated. The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning views, a private beach, and excellent pools. However, the half-board package felt restrictive, as drinks were not included and had to be purchased separately. For a 5-star hotel, complimentary water with meals would be a nice touch. Overall, the service was excellent.

Hotel itself was lovely, good mix of restaurants and pools, beach was nice. Rooms were broadly pretty good, very clean (but some areas showing signs of a little wear and tear). Only reason the review is 4* not 5* is because we paid extra for a sea view room (through expedia) and didn’t get one, we had to complain to be moved after 2 nights. Hotel were fine about this but be careful you get what you’re paying for as between Expedia and the Hotel, someone is not reflecting that accurately.

This is the second time at this hotel so was very excited to be coming back. The hotel its self is stunning. We were checked in and sat around the pool until our room was ready. We were taken to our room on the first floor and I was extremely disappointed as couldn’t see the palm view at all. I rang reception but after waiting 30 mins decided to go downstairs to reception. I explained how the view wasn’t there and had stayed in a palm view room last year and the view was stunning. I asked if they had another room with a better view. The reception staff were rude, two of them talking amongst themselves and I was told different things by each one. Eventually I was told another room was possible but wouldn’t be until 4-5pm as they were waiting for people to check out. This was fine by us as we were just sat at the pool. We were told to leave our bags in the first room and they would move them and message when they room was ready. At 17.10 I ended up messaging the app myself and the communication was terrible. Our 2nd room had been ready for a while but no one had said, we waited a while to get the key and when we got to our room our bags weren’t there! Not the best way to start a birthday trip. The room was lovely tho and the view was amazing

We recently enjoyed a vacation at Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The resort itself exudes luxury with its spacious and impeccably clean accommodations. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. While we appreciated the valet service, there were times when it took longer than expected. However, the team was always on the ball and ready to assist when needed. A special mention goes to Tamer, Rizwan, and Samuel, who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and made our experience memorable. I would also like to thank Sameer who also was amazing. He arranged for a late check out for 13:00 which accommodated us perfect for the day. One aspect to consider is that the hotel was quite busy during half term, which brought in a lot of families with children. While this added to the lively atmosphere, I had hoped for a more serene luxury experience. The beach was decent but lacked strong currents, making it feel somewhat mediocre compared to other beachfront resorts. The pools, while nice, were on the smaller side, which might be a consideration for those looking for a more expansive swimming experience. Despite these minor drawbacks, I would still recommend Sofitel Dubai The Palm as a solid choice on The Palm. It surpasses many other options in the area and offers a wonderful blend of luxury and hospitality.

The level of service from the check in staff was shocking! They have no level of customer service whatsoever. Considering they class themselves as 5 star we were very shocked! Dishad I think her name was at check in was literally a blank face no emotion no care at all. We received much better service from the guys at the valet and housekeeping. I will never come back to this hotel

Our stay at the Sofitel Dubai Palm was amazing. The staff and facilities were fantastic and if we were looking for a chilled beach holiday we would definitely come back here. The only negative we had was that outside of the hotel there is nothing to do on an evening. This is the same for all resorts on the Palm so isn’t against the Sofitel. We had a young child so getting taxis into the Marina etc at night was not great as she would be tired and moany. If you had slightly older children or were a couple then the taxi was only 15-20 minutes into the marina if you fancied a change of scenery

Great location for a quiet relaxing break. Loads of sun loungers around the pools and on the private beach. Never had a problem getting one. Good dining options with lots of restaurants. I booked an ocean view room but if I was staying again I think I would go for a palm view as this gets more sun. Felt safe as a solo traveller. Would happily stay again.

I visited Dubai for the first time in July and stayed near the front of the Palm. This area is a lot more quieter so if you enjoy the peace and quiet this place is definitely for you. The resort is massive and has a lot to offer from restaurants, an excellent pool to an amazing view from the beach.

Loved my stay at the Sofitel. Very clean & hotel staff is the most respectful : you’ll feel like a King ! HOWEVER; if you’re planning on doing a lot of activities, maybe it’s not the best hotel for you as it is very, very, very far from everything! Maybe Sofitel downtown would be better for you.

Excellent hôtel, le personnel est au petits soins avec vous. Le chambres sont très spacieuses avec literie confortable et insonorisation au top. Le plage est magnifique avec transat et parasol mis à disposition. Le petit déjeuner et copieux et l’hôtel dispose de 4/5 restaurants pour varier les plaisir. Le gros bémol est au niveau de la demi pension, certains plats sont facturés malgré la demi pension et vous devez acheter l’eau aussi (10 euros les 750ML) Impossible aussi de commander de l’extérieur et de profiter au bord de plage. Vous devez obligatoirement passer par les restaurants de l’hôtel (je parle du midi) qui pratiquent des prix exorbitants

The hotel and room was amazing. The housekeeping staff were so lovely and polite. The staff were lovely throughout the hotel. We were very happy with Arshad and Himanshu as they went above and beyond with our toddler and service. We will really miss them. Our only downside to the hotel was during lunch and dinner we would need to pay for drinks. We assumed that as we paid for half board drinks would be included with the meals as part of our package. But drinks and water are an additional charge. We paid £13 for 2 cans of fizz and £9 for a cup of coffee, which is absurd. We paid a lot to stay at this hotel, but theres always more hidden expenses that have to be paid. Other than that issue everything else was great. The variety of swimming pools, kids club, the beach.

Excellent stay. We a family of four stayed in the 2 bedroom family room. Great layout, balcony and wonderful view of the palm. Room super clean. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Wonderful beach and pool and well-themed resort. We were on half-board, food was really good, soft drinks quite expensive. Would definitely stay here again.

For a 5 star hotel it lacked a bit when it comes to restaurants, as choices weren't great and 2 restaurants had slow service, while 2 had poor food choices. It also lacked local foods.

Half board food was excellent, all the restraints were great. The staff at the hotel can’t do enough for you. Breakfast buffet had everything. The pool and beach was very good and relaxing, loads of beds available. The water sports m, sea camels are worth a go. All in all a great experience, thank you. Would gladly go again.

A beautiful hotel with exceptional staff Very large room with huge balcony and good amenities eating around on half board a worthwhile option the access to premium lounge a bonus celebrated my birthday and everywhere we went the staff appeared to know and had balloons, cards and cake few small complaints had to pay for water with meals which I have not seen in any other 5* hotels the mini bar due to the type of room booked, should really have been included in a 5* hotel found if not ordering extras on the half board option, staff seemed less attentive. Noticed this in the steakhouse as the first visit was for my birthday and we added a number of items and staff were brilliant but on a return visit just ordering normal off the menu, the staff were more interested in other guests

Sofitel The Palm Dubai offers a peaceful, relaxing environment, perfect for a getaway. We were initially assigned a room with a limited view of the palm, but after speaking with Reception, they moved us to one with a much better view, which was greatly appreciated. The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning views, a private beach, and excellent pools. However, the half-board package felt restrictive, as drinks were not included and had to be purchased separately. For a 5-star hotel, complimentary water with meals would be a nice touch. Overall, the service was excellent.

Very comfortable beds and our room was lovely, we chose half board - the restaurants were good but the limited menu means it gets repetitive and boring. Lunch and dinner were far more enjoyable - least enjoyed Manava - the breakfast and offering overall leaves alot to be desired. I personally do not rate the breakfast offering as five star - it looks and tastes like it’s made en masse. Breakfast was the real draw back of our experience. We did not receive any additional benefits as Expedia VIPs. The staff and service was excellent across the board.
