This property is a motel and cabins. The cabins are different sizes. The host, Clancy, was very nice and made the check in process easy. The property is very clean and well maintained. There is a covered "deck" area (smoking area) with outdoor furniture, a gas firepit, a gas BBQ and an area for a charcoal BBQ. The cabin we rented was 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. There was a full kitchen. We had a covered deck with furniture, a picnic table with charcoal BBQ and a firepit within our space. We will be coming back again!! Thank you Clancy

The motel is very clean. King sized bed is great. Ground are nicely kept. There is a fit pit and bbq grill as well as a gazebo with seating for guests to use. Dogs were welcomed. We liked the location. The bathroom in our room was very small. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

We booked this stay knowing nothing about it or the area- it was perfect! The little cabins were spacious and far enough apart you felt alone but not a pain to get to. Clean rooms. Has everything you need to just show up and enjoy your stay. Firepit and picnic areas are awesome. Open field to let kids and pets play and get energy out. Staff was super friendly. We cant wait to go back. This is a must stay!

This is an older property but well kept and very clean! Beds were really comfortable. Mini fridge was a little bigger than most hotels I have stayed in which was great- the freezer portion even held our ice packs for cooler! Beautiful surrounding area with fire pit. Great experience staying here!

The property was very clean, cute and cozy. They had a very nice fireplace and sitting area, the staff and check-in were absolutely a pleasure. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. It was close to everything including the lake. We will definitely be back.

These cabins were spotless! We were so impressed with the care paid towards the rooms. Would absolutely stay here again, location and housekeeping were just brilliant. Hoping next time to try out the detached cabins.

Far enough out of the main town, it was quiet and even a bit wilderness-like. We rented a room (not cabin) but it felt like a cabin (except for a shared wall.) Wooden walls and ceiling, gave it a rustic feel but for us, the bed was the main attraction. Firm but cushiony, the mattress was supportive in all the right ways with soft pillows with just enough support to keep your head and neck in alignment. We slept like logs. The heating system was accurate and so quiet I had to feel for air coming out. Management was friendly and accommodating, with generous info about restaurants and recreation in the area. Service staff was quick and efficient. We slipped out for a quick breakfast and came back to a clean and tidy room. Overall we were very impressed.

Super clean. Extremely noisy! Once the neighbors checked in next to us, we felt like we were in the same room. We could hear their TV and conversation as if sitting next to us. At 11pm we finally had to knock on the wall and ask them to quiet down. Very tiny shower and dark room but we were only staying overnight on our way through town so was worth the discomfort. We got what we paid for.

Stayed for a night on the way down to Gold Beach. Close to the main stretch of town. Fun, rustic vibes and plenty of space for a couple one toddler. Kitchenette and mini fridge were nice to have!

Tiny room, no place for table or to move around . Wood paneling in the room from 1965 without any upgrades. Really tiny (5 x 6) bathroom with RV style shower stall. Rusted heater in the bathroom. Waited long few minutes to get warm water . Paid $25 for the dog but there was no room on the floor for her to sleep. Otherwise the bed was very comfortable and the front desk person was very nice .

Nice place rustic rooms a little bit dated but clean. Good value the only negative thing is the walls are paper thin but they do have signs of that tell the guest to keep it quiet after 10:00 a.m. to be considerate and they give you ear plugs. Beds and linens were very comfortable I would stay here again

Property was very clean (it even smelled clean) and the beds were super comfortable. It was nice that the beds were divided into separate rooms but weird that you had to go from the front room into the other bedroom to get in the bathroom—but not a huge deal. The floor between the end of the bed and door of the bathroom was buckled so every time you stepped onto it, it popped down and then back up when you stepped off. The floor was pretty loud, but was unavoidable when going to the bathroom. I liked the string of lights along the eaves outside, but having slept in the front room, the curtains let in a lot of light around the edges so that could be frustrating to some people. Our room did not have AC, but it did have nice ceiling fans in both rooms. At first I was worried because it was a little stuffy in the room, but the fans helped. It was cool outside and we could have opened the windows but it’s ground level, and while it seems like it’s in a safe area, I just didn’t feel comfortable. Overall, a good stay.

We stayed here for a night to visit the dunes just a couple minutes away, and thought that the motel was nice. The room was pretty spacious and came with a kitchenette, and the showerhead in the washroom conveniently had a hose extension! The futon was also quite comfortable in comparison to roll-away beds in other hotels, though the actual beds that came with room may have been too soft for comfort. The property was easy to access from the highway, however there wasn't any places around it to go to, such as restaurants or shops. If you don't mind not having free breakfast here, it's a nice option if you are visiting Florence.

I liked the convenient location of this property and its surroundings. The cabins were cute and the yard area was fun with chickens coming by to visit. The staff was friendly. The property is on a busy road, and while the road was noisy during the day, at night the noise wasn’t too bad. I was very disappointed by the lack of amenities. There were no utensils at all in the cabin, nor any dish soap, so there was no way to clean the dishes. Our reservation was for 5 people and we were only given three towels. I got a notification from the property that we could buy a “kitchen kit” for $25, which I assume had these items like dish soap and silverware. I felt like those things should have been provided without asking for an extra charge, or the property should have advised beforehand so we could bring our own. We reserved a family cabin with a fridge, oven, microwave, etc. so silverware was expected. When we checked in, we were also asked to tip the housekeeping staff 5% of the cost of our total bill, another charge that wasn’t listed when I reserved the property. The staff was very friendly, which I appreciated, but I wouldn’t stay here again due to the hidden costs, few amenities and lack of communication.

When we were checking in we were told that because Expedia overbooked that we would need to not only move rooms the next day, but we would have to check out by 10:30am and check in again at 3:30pm. Mind you we have our dog (“pet friendly room”), so we would be in our car (day was rainy) for that time! I was told that there wouldn’t be any other availability in town, so essentially Good luck. I requested a refund, having searched for other places and found multiple. Surprisingly they found a way to keep us in the same room. Hmmm. The next day we got a knock at our door telling us we had to give them our coffee cups in the room because we had put some dog food in one of them. I went to the front desk requesting the cups (we had no way to drink coffee!) and was treated with major hostility from the lady at the front desk who wouldn’t give us cups! We had to get disposable ones to use. Btw dirty towels were left in our room at checking in. Ugh. I would never stay here again, without a doubt the rudest lady ever (I think half of the owner couple). He’s reasonable, she’s a nightmare.

Far enough out of the main town, it was quiet and even a bit wilderness-like. We rented a room (not cabin) but it felt like a cabin (except for a shared wall.) Wooden walls and ceiling, gave it a rustic feel but for us, the bed was the main attraction. Firm but cushiony, the mattress was supportive in all the right ways with soft pillows with just enough support to keep your head and neck in alignment. We slept like logs. The heating system was accurate and so quiet I had to feel for air coming out. Management was friendly and accommodating, with generous info about restaurants and recreation in the area. Service staff was quick and efficient. We slipped out for a quick breakfast and came back to a clean and tidy room. Overall we were very impressed.

We booked this stay knowing nothing about it or the area- it was perfect! The little cabins were spacious and far enough apart you felt alone but not a pain to get to. Clean rooms. Has everything you need to just show up and enjoy your stay. Firepit and picnic areas are awesome. Open field to let kids and pets play and get energy out. Staff was super friendly. We cant wait to go back. This is a must stay!

We stayed here for a night to visit the dunes just a couple minutes away, and thought that the motel was nice. The room was pretty spacious and came with a kitchenette, and the showerhead in the washroom conveniently had a hose extension! The futon was also quite comfortable in comparison to roll-away beds in other hotels, though the actual beds that came with room may have been too soft for comfort. The property was easy to access from the highway, however there wasn't any places around it to go to, such as restaurants or shops. If you don't mind not having free breakfast here, it's a nice option if you are visiting Florence.

We loved our stay! The rustic yet updated motel was exactly what we hoped for. Very authentic! We were thrilled to have a king and queen bed in separate rooms for our family. Easy access to the gas station across the street, shops across the bridge in town, and the dunes. We highly recommend making this part of your travel plans.

I liked the convenient location of this property and its surroundings. The cabins were cute and the yard area was fun with chickens coming by to visit. The staff was friendly. The property is on a busy road, and while the road was noisy during the day, at night the noise wasn’t too bad. I was very disappointed by the lack of amenities. There were no utensils at all in the cabin, nor any dish soap, so there was no way to clean the dishes. Our reservation was for 5 people and we were only given three towels. I got a notification from the property that we could buy a “kitchen kit” for $25, which I assume had these items like dish soap and silverware. I felt like those things should have been provided without asking for an extra charge, or the property should have advised beforehand so we could bring our own. We reserved a family cabin with a fridge, oven, microwave, etc. so silverware was expected. When we checked in, we were also asked to tip the housekeeping staff 5% of the cost of our total bill, another charge that wasn’t listed when I reserved the property. The staff was very friendly, which I appreciated, but I wouldn’t stay here again due to the hidden costs, few amenities and lack of communication.

Stayed in the cozy A-frame cabin for 2 nights with family. Very friendly staff that made us feel very welcome. Only minus was there were no cutlery in the kitchen, luckily I brought some plastic ones from home, along with my frying pan, there were no pots and pans either. No dish soap so I had to buy some, along with sponges.
