Room was simple, good for just a quick overnight stay. We did book a quadruple family room with a queen and two singles and got only two doubles. No amenities in the room. Was dark and quiet, we got a good night's rest. No lift, only stairs in the main area we stayed.

Il n'y avait personne a l'accueil a notre arrivee. Pas de parking pour se garer, donc cout supplementaire de 21, 20 euros pour la nuit. Chambre et lit correct. Douche trop petite et paroie qui tient mal. Porte de salle de bauns difficile a ouvrir, frotte contre le parquet.

Sejour de 3 jours, chambre propre et agréable. Ambiance familiale avec un personnel et une propriétaire à l'écoute de la clientèle. Petit déjeuner copieux à la française. L'hôtel est en plein centre-ville et à environ 100m d'une entrée du parc du château. Les restaurants et différents magasins sont à 200m. La difficulté est de trouver des places de stationnement gratuites. Pour la gratuité, il faut se garer à distance de l'hôtel dans une avenue longeant le château (8mn de marche) En résumé hôtel très agréable avec toutes les commodités nécessaires et un excellent rapport qualité prix. Bien situé pour un sejour touristique ou professionnel.

Das Hotel liegt wunderbar zentral. Schade das der Check in so spät ist, das verhindert sich das Schloss von Innen anzusehen. War leider nur einen Tag dort. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Auch für die sichere Unterbringung meines Fahrrads wurde prompt gesorgt. Habe mich wohl gefühlt. Einzig beim Betreten des Zimmers weht einem etwas muffige Luft entgegen. Ich würde das Hotel noch einmal buchen

Chambre joliment décorée Petit bémol pour les oreillers inconfortables et le froid dans la chambre à l’arrivée… une façade d’hôtel plutôt lugubre, stationnement compliqué mais quartier top à 2 pas du château ! Parfait pour une halte 👌

A lovely budget hotel in a Fontainebleau. Friendly welcome, clean, quiet room. Bathroom small by North American standards but not out of the ordinary in Europe. Close to everything, Fontainebleau Chateau is close, ( to enter the grounds) and the ticket booth about 15 minutes away. Place de la Republique is perhaps a 7 minute walk away, with a lovely market three times a week. Dining options are many, varied and close by, (il Primo Biaccio a great Italian place). We did not avail ourselves of the offered breakfast so can’t comment, and arrived by train, a lovely 30 minute walk mostly through a park, so can’t comment on parking either.. highly recommended. (Though not if you are expecting modern North American chain hotel standards)

Je ne peux pas croire que cet hôtel soit seulement 2 étoiles. Il est très bien situé à deux pas du Château et du centre-ville. Hôte très accueillante et au petit soin. Chambre très conformable avec climatisation et fenêtre en mansarde. Pas très grand mais très coquet.

Not a fancy place but it is clean and in a good location near the Chateau. Our room was like a college dorm room—no amenities but some toiletries provided. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money and just need a place to sleep this is a good choice.

Chambre très basique avec une literie plutôt inconfortable. Le gros problème est le manque d'insonorisation (à 6h du matin, j'avais l'impression que le voisin prenait sa douche dans mon lit !). Pas de réception, personne pour préparer le petit déjeuner le matin (donc pas de petit déjeuner à 9h du matin), en bref, un très mauvais rapport qualité/prix.

The receptionist only works from 4-7 pm. Other time the door to the hotel was locked. They provided a phone number on the note in front of the hotel but the number was not be able to be reached. We waited for check in for 2 hours until somebody showed up. We almost want to give up and book another hotrl

A lovely budget hotel in a Fontainebleau. Friendly welcome, clean, quiet room. Bathroom small by North American standards but not out of the ordinary in Europe. Close to everything, Fontainebleau Chateau is close, ( to enter the grounds) and the ticket booth about 15 minutes away. Place de la Republique is perhaps a 7 minute walk away, with a lovely market three times a week. Dining options are many, varied and close by, (il Primo Biaccio a great Italian place). We did not avail ourselves of the offered breakfast so can’t comment, and arrived by train, a lovely 30 minute walk mostly through a park, so can’t comment on parking either.. highly recommended. (Though not if you are expecting modern North American chain hotel standards)

La difficulté est de trouver des places de stationnement gratuites. Séjour très agréable car l’accueil a été parfait ! L’hôtel est au cœur de Fontainebleau, à la porte du parc et du château et à 50m de la place d’armes où l’ou peut se garer. On est donc en plein centre, sans avoir le bruit des cafter restaurants le soir. Chambre confortable et très propre, literie impeccable … et le petit-déjeuner préparé avec soin «comme à la maison » est top ! On reviendra 😉

Chambre très basique avec une literie plutôt inconfortable. Le gros problème est le manque d'insonorisation (à 6h du matin, j'avais l'impression que le voisin prenait sa douche dans mon lit !). Pas de réception, personne pour préparer le petit déjeuner le matin (donc pas de petit déjeuner à 9h du matin), en bref, un très mauvais rapport qualité/prix.

Great location to Chateau Fountainbleu - my reason for the trip. Breakfast was very nice and beautifully set up. Room was comfortable. Only thing is the two flights of stairs to walk.

This appears to be a run by a husband and wife so Not only does checkin start at 4pm, but there is no one at the hotel until then so there is no place to leave bags. Also the internet was incredibly slow and unreliable which the owner acknowledged.

The room was clean, the staff nice enough, the location is great very central for the chateau and for all the restaurants in the main town. For a budget pied a terre you can't go wrong but don't expect any high end luxury accommodation

Room was simple, good for just a quick overnight stay. We did book a quadruple family room with a queen and two singles and got only two doubles. No amenities in the room. Was dark and quiet, we got a good night's rest. No lift, only stairs in the main area we stayed.
