The hotel is good for the most part. They have multiple types of rooms to choose from, standard rooms to suites with a jacuzzi. Unfortunately the room i stayed in (401) is my least favorite of the four above reception suites. It needs some updating and it has an exercise bike in it that's been there for years and doesn't work. Also the onsite gym is small, it has two treadmills, an elliptical machine and a multiple use weight system, but only some of the equipment is functional.

There was no hot water. I reserved a room with a jacuzzi and I was not able to use is due to lack of hot water. I was told there was an issue with the system and that the entire hotel was out of hot water for a couple of days. When I check out I was told I would have to speak to the manager but they stated they were not allowed to give me the managers name.

Parking attendant JOSE patrols the parking lot and does great security. I always feel safe when my motorcycle is in parking lot. Wonderful staff throughout the hotel. Good food in restaurant.

This hotel now has amenities like a spa, a gym and a small restaurant and bar onsite. The rooms are nice , and they have a variety of different kinds of rooms, singles , doubles, family rooms, suites and suites with jacuzzi. The only problem I had this visit was that I tried to check in before 3pm. And it appears that between 2 and 3 is when they do their staff change. I had to wait almost an hour to check in.

This hotel now has amenities like a spa, a gym and a small restaurant and bar onsite. The rooms are nice , and they have a variety of different kinds of rooms, singles , doubles, family rooms, suites and suites with jacuzzi. I love Velario hotel! the place is secured & gated with 24/7 security. The hotel is walking distance from the many bars & clubs perfect for the night life. the staff is very nice they offer many things like taxi, spa & they even have a nice patio with nice decore and lights. The food is delicious with wonderful chiefs! Very peaceful will def stay here again! Thanks Velario for a great time!

Very clean and organized hotel. Staff are warm and friendly. The breakfast is fantastic. Very safe and quiet hotel with a secured private parking lot for the guest. I will definitely return. Special thanks to David on the night shift. Also special thanks to the maintenance guy with tattoos. I don’t know his name but he is very friendly and helpful with all my hotel requests

Cockroaches in the room. Rusty water in the pipes. Digital code to room door was very difficult to use and completely unsecure. Anyone could have the codes to these doors.

check-in was fine, room was clean. they ask for a $10 deposit that is returned in the morning. No soap or shampoo holders in shower so everything goes on the floor. I think when I stayed here 6 months ago that room was the same. Minor but very inconvenient. I would still stay here again

The room is super clean and very quiet. All furnitures are up to date and new. Most of all they have the best shower with strong water pressure and love their glass door.

Front desk staff was rude bording on dismissive. Arrived at 10:30 PM and was told I had to wait 20 minutes to check in due to change in staff at 11 PM. Was checked in after 11:10, over 40 minutes from arrival.

Simple I will not stay here again. To start when I check in the guy was rude. I had to wait 1 to get out rooms because they were cleaning the rooms. I got there at 3:30pm got all rooms by 4:30. The floor in the room was dirty you can see hair and shoe print in the floor. At check out when they check our room and charge me for a water that we did that drink or touch we all had our waters from outside the hotel . But I check out at 6am I did not feel arguing

Me e quedado en esta propiedad por mas de 15 años este pasado jueves 27 de junio la persona en recepción fue muy grosero y inpertinente cuan le pregunte la ubicación de mi abitacion se salio del escritorio y me confronto buscando probocarme con palabras obscenas me dijo que el trabajaba para la empresa y no para mi el caballero no le importo que yo estubiera acompañado de una dama y con malas palame dijo que no lo iba yo a educar al pedirle que tubiera respeto y conpostura me entere que no es la primera vez que el tiene este comportamiento con huéspedes y por ser el hermano de la gerente no ledan ningún tipo de disiplina ni lo sancionan como a un empleado normal que lastima puesto que uno usa estas lugares para descansar y no para ser intimidado y menos insultado por la gente que trabaja ahí y si tienen alguna duda la grencia puede chequear camaras de sejuridad puesto que cuentan con audio esto ocurio al rededor de la 1 de la mañana del viernes 28 de junio 2024 muy mala experiencia no recomiendo este hotel

I recently stayed a couple nights at the Hotel Velario. The location was perfect for me, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the price couldn't be beat. I also love that they have their own gated parking lot, and the parking is included! I plan to stay there next time I am in Tijuana.

We arrived on Friday Sept 19 afternoon. The young lady at the registration desk was not friendly. She was cold and seemed angry toward us. But the other staff were fantastic. Special thanks to David. David was warm and friendly every time we saw him. Thanks to the morning masseuse who was very friendly too. We enjoyed the breakfast at your restaurant and the waiter was very friendly as well. I wanted to give 5 stars but the attitude of the young lady at the registration desk was not good

Personally the property is fine but in a rough neighborhood. Really close to revolution. Parking has 24 hour security which is awesome. I’d stay again but maybe not with family.

About 10 minute walk to revolution, parking is in front of the hotel. Room was quiet and very clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Small restaurant has the best drinks and meals, food is cook in front of you.cookong area is kept clean.

Location close to the border and the restaurant inside very good . The shrimp tacos were so good also taco stand just outside with a bunch of small stores thaz are open over night parking is on site. Bed was very hard and pillows as well . Staff very polite . Hotel is very clean .

We arrived on Friday Sept 19 afternoon. The young lady at the registration desk was not friendly. She was cold and seemed angry toward us. But the other staff were fantastic. Special thanks to David. David was warm and friendly every time we saw him. Thanks to the morning masseuse who was very friendly too. We enjoyed the breakfast at your restaurant and the waiter was very friendly as well. I wanted to give 5 stars but the attitude of the young lady at the registration desk was not good

The property is not in the best of neighborhoods, however, it is very secure. Your car is protected by guards 24/7. The hotel is clean. The restaurant is small but the food is good and very reasonably priced. My biggest complaint was that the mattress was quite hard and we all had difficulty controlling the heater in the room. I contacted the front desk and he said he would send someone to help us. No one ever came. But. . . if you're strapped for cash, it is a good value, clean and safe. Just don't walk around too much at night.

I love Velario hotel! the place is secured & gated with 24/7 security. The hotel is walking distance from the many bars & clubs perfect for the night life. the staff is very nice they offer many things like taxi, spa & they even have a nice patio with nice decore and lights. The food is delicious with wonderful chiefs! Very peaceful will def stay here again! Thanks Velario for a great time!

La razón de hospedarme ahí es porque antes tenían caja fuerte y tener las cosas de valor seguras,, por el lugar de la ubicación. Y muy posible que alguien lleve una chica a su ubicación, y ya no es seguro!

The hotel was okay overall. We stayed in a family suite with a king bed and bunk beds. We checked in around 5 PM, but unfortunately, the room had not been properly cleaned. There were only two towels even though our reservation was for four people, and the sink was dirty. I called the front desk, and they responded right away and had it cleaned, which I appreciated. The TV was also disappointing—it only had a few channels and made a strange noise. The room phone wasn’t working either, so I had to use my cell phone to contact the front desk. Overall, it was an okay place to stay for one night if you just need somewhere to rest, but there are definitely a few things that could be improved.
