For late check in there was no staff there and I had to call them to get in. That was my fault I didn’t check my mail box, but it’s not convenient. The shower facility was really bad, the water drain slowly.

We picked this hotel mostly because of price and location near Hauptbahnhof and walking distance to Marienplatz. A lot of other hotels still had inflated prices a few days after Oktoberfest ended. Our room felt very sterile and there were some stains on the carpet, but we found the mattresses to be comfortable. If you like really soft pillows, you will be very happy. I appreciated the air conditioning, but the temperature setting doesn't go below 20 degrees celsius (68 fahrenheit) so the room remained a little warm for comfortable sleep. We would have kept the window open overnight except that the trams rumbled by very late into the night and started back up again around 4 am. Unfortunately, the lighting in the bathroom was really bad and not at all flattering for getting ready in the morning. My biggest complaint was no coffee in the room or lobby and it was difficult to find a coffee shop nearby. The front desk isn't staffed in the early morning so I couldn't even ask where to go. They provide a QR code to message the staff on What's App but my message went unanswered. There is an Italian restaurant downstairs that has good food and we received a voucher for a free Aperol Spritz there upon check-in. There is also a German restaurant on the same block and several Turkish restaurants around the corner.
