Great boutique hotel in a medieval town and a medieval building, nicely rebuilt , keeping the essence of the time. Terry was great, this is a place to come back. Excellent experience.

This place has the best view in town. We loved our morning coffee’s in the kitchen patio. The hotel is beautiful, historic with lots of light. It is clean, comfortable and nicely maintained. We would love to come back for a longer stay.

El Retiro del Obispo is a paradise in the middle of La Rioja area. If you love wine, good food, good people, this is the place to stay. Easy parking next door. The town is very small, you can walk it in 5 mins but on the other end, my G-d, the view is breathtaking. Terri, the owner is just exceptional. We went and unfortunately our little girl was sick and she was nothing but excellent. Very understanding, accommodating, helping us. El Retiro del Obispo is the place to stay.
