The lobby was under construction during my stay, which was not disclosed at the time of booking. There was a narrow walkway around the blocked off area, but it was unappealing upon arrival. The ambiance is part of the reason I chose Loews, especially after staying at other Loews properties.

Hotel and rooms are great. Very comfortable and everything we need. To park our car at the hotel cost us $112 for one night! So I guess my room wasn't $300/night it was $412! What a rip off to park my car for the night.

We had an amazing time - the grandkids keep asking when we can go back. They loved the pool and our adjoining rooms. :) The restaurant/bar on the rooftop had delicious food and again according to the grandkids the best chicken tenders ever! We enjoyed breakfast as well in the hotel and again great service and great food. The staff was so sweet and made us feel very special and were very helpful with things we needed. We even left an item behind and they so graciously sent it to us. Walking was doable to Navy pier and to the waterfront for the architecture boat tour. So we feel this was a great location to stay at with our plans.

The staff are great, but I felt like everything I needed they charged me for like a $25 per day for a microwave. The pool closed at 9pm, which I think is early for a Chicago pool. Please beware when you book the room that sleeps 5, you have to ask for a rollaway bed for the 5th person. They even said they should charge me for it, but they can give it to me complimentary. If they advertised that the room sleeps 5, then tell me that……it was just frustrating. The staff was super nice and the rollaway bed was extremely comfortable and nice, so in the end we did have a nice stay.

Room was clean and spacious. Bed is comfortable. Hotel room service and restaurant was surprisingly good. Hotel service was exceptional. The gym was clean and had great modern equipment by Techno gym and Peloton.

Loews was a great stay. The room and all of the facilities were very clean. When arriving earlier than my check-in time, the staff was extremely helpful, and found an available room to get me in early. The fitness center had a variety of cardio machines, strength training equipment, and dumbbells up to 75lbs. Would absolutely recommend for anyone visiting Chicago!

Are room smelled like a dirty wet dog. We booked this hotel because of the rooftop bar-restaurant, which was never open during our entire stay. This is one of the worst hotels I ever stayed at. Extrance is cold, stainless steel and looks like you’re walking through a walk in freezer. The Bed mattress was so uncomfortable, my back still hurts. Mold in the shower. Again, worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

This is the cleanest and most well- maintained property I’ve stayed at, and I travel often. Excellent location as well for walking to most anything you would like to do in Chicago. I will stay here going forward when I visit Chicago. I cannot recommend it enough!

Customer Service was outstanding! The young lady ,Sabrina was so welcoming, however it was short-lived when we got to the room and spoiled food was in the refrigerator with a bad odor of course. The view and room was dismal. This was a room that should have been deep cleaned for allergies of one of the guest.

Our Premium Corner Room was excellent! Glass from roof to floor around the whole corner Room with automatic Blackout blinds and also sheering curtains! Beautiful views to the lake, to the river, to the skyscrapers! The bed was very comfy too!! My husband loved the living room with a desk where he could work and enjoy the views! Awesome stay!

The location is great. The hotel itself the rooms are fine. The bathroom has a sliding door that felt like it didn’t really provide privacy. It closes but it’s a bit off the wall so you can see and hear inside. Main lobby is nice with a large 4 screen tv . Not sure why they had the heat on because it was in the 50s and 60s outside.

Everything was ok only problem was the beds were to small. I had a double beds room and the beds are actually 2 full size beds. 2 queens would've been better. Also the hot water didn't actually get hot. It was warm, on the cold/warm side of warm. Like when you let your hot water run for a long time and it start getting cold. My family and I stayed there 3 nights and all three nights the water was like that. We didn't complain are asked for another room we just made it work. Other than that everything else was perfect...

Really enjoyed our stay here. Service strong all round, rooms a really good size for Chicago and well appointed if not that excitingly done out. Big bathroom was great! Location great for the lake, river and Mag Mile, but a bit of a walk to the El and most of the best bars and restaurants are the other side of Michigan Ave. Service excellent all round and the lobby bar creates a nice buzz and a good place for a drink and light bite. Excellent gym and pool if you want it. Only areas for improvement is that the AC is loud and gets turned down at night (yes most hotels do this these days) so the room does get a bit warm and stuffy while you are sleeping. And they could definitely do better with reducing single use plastics and waste in general!

This is my third time staying at a Loews, but my second at the Chicago location. Each time I’ve stayed the service has been impeccable. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and each location I’ve stayed at always has such beautiful views. I also want to acknowledge Luis and Ashley, they were amazing!

Jesse at the front desk and Jacob the bellman at LOEWS are the real stars of what made my stay beyond fantastic! Any questions or concerns were thoroughly addressed along with amazing hospitality by mainly those two but everyone else did just as good to really make my stay great with my girlfriend. Definitely staying here again whenever i need a few nights in the city :)

From helping you find transportation to making sure you had all the things necessary to make sure your stay was a perfect one. They cared…I highly recommend!!

The hotel itself is very clean and in a great location. Our TV in our room did not work. We called the desk and was told it doesn’t work when it’s storming… but it was clear outside. We were offered no resolution. The bartender in the lobby bar was horribly rude to us. We stopped for drinks before going to dinner and we had a little table by the bar. I went to the bar to get drinks and was told we’d have a server and was declined beverages from the bartender. After waiting for a long time with no server I watched several other people order drinks from the bar. I went back up and inquired as to why he was serving others and not us. He said there was a wedding party and they were guests. I said we were also paying guests of the hotel. He said not to bother tipping him… he didn’t care about my tip. He said his name and said he was the only person I’d ever meet with that name…very arrogant and odd with the things he said. It was very uncomfortable how he spoke to me and I have never been treated so poorly at a hotel bar. Especially a Loews.

Veru upsetting experience when we arrived at hotel. It was check-in time but our room was not ready. We were told room was getting serviced and it would be 30-40 minutes but no promises. We waited the 35 minutes and I then questioned status of room. We were told it was still not ready. We said that we had dinner reservations and this was disappointing and upsetting. Then, miraculously, the exact same type of room we reserved was available on anotyher floor. We were given that room. Why were we told to wait 40 minutes when the exact type of room we reserved was available already? Very disappointing that customer service was not prioritized.
