Domaine de Regnonval

No room! - after a long drive of 7 hrs and hard work we wanted to sleep in this b&b. Only for a few hours, but when we arrived all the rooms were full. After trying to reach the owner for several times he finally came. And simply said he had no room left. No excuse, no nothing. And more or less urged us to go. Where to at 8.30 p.m.? He didn't feel our need at all, no sympathy. Then he came up with a friend who owns a studio. This was 100,- euros p/n, after asking he gaves us the money of our room back (66,- euros) plus the additional 34,- euros. P.s. already paid and booked 4 months prior. In the end, that was also shady..... so we ended up sleeping in our car for the night. Never ever again! I know this place from previous stays (not much in this village or around, therefor) and there is always something. A full pooped toilet - which means the room wasn't cleaned properly or not at all. This was actually the first time I 'met' the owner. And you can even touch the floor when your seated on the toilet. We had no options in the past to stay elsewhere, but I prefer to drive a bit now rather than staying there. Better be safe than sorry.

This is a fantastic place to stop for the night, or even for longer. Set in the middle of beautiful countryside, it felt like an escape from the rest of the world. The Domaine is very clean, comfortable and a welcome oasis for the weary traveller. Alain was very helpful in ensuring I checked in without any problems, and even went to the trouble of preparing an early breakfast for my departure the next day at 05:30. It’s very easy to get to from the A15, and handy for Beauvais too if you are flying. There are restaurants in the local town nearby, a short 5 min drive away, and a lovely courtyard with table and chairs if you wanted to bring something back from the local supermarket instead. It’s great to fall asleep to the sounds of nature - owls, frogs, crickets, foxes…loved it! Very highly recommended and I hope to come back here again when next in the area.

Small and English Language was an issue. No receptions and had to call to check in.

Endroit calme. Belle prestation, la chambre et les équipements mis a disposition sont propres et facilitant.
