We have stayed in quite a few different hotels in the area. I’d have say this hotel is one of the worst. Check in was like no other. The girl asked for the license plate number of my car but I couldn’t remember it. Most hotels would say, “When you get a chance, could you please get it for me.” Not this girl. She looked me dead in the eyes and said, “I’ll wait here while you go figure it out.” I go out to the parking lot and return with the plate number. She doesn’t say thank you or anything. The cleanliness of the room was average until you actually look around. Which we didn’t do until after we returned from dinner and ice cream. The picture on the wall had (and probably still does) white splatter on the bottom of the frame and the wall. I let the front desk know about it but it was late so there was no one to clean it. The only positive thing about this hotel was Nick who worked the front desk the next two nights. He went out of his way to say hello and see if there was anything he could do for us. Finally someone who understands customer service. He was super friendly and personable. If I owned a hotel, I’d be stealing him from your hotel and asking him to work at mine. I’d definitely pay him more than whatever he’s being paid now because he just made our stay much more pleasant than the other people we dealt with at this hotel. Nick = 5 stars Best Western = 2 stars
