We loved our stay at The Lodge in Bellingen. Everything was easy to do, location was great and the kids loved feeding the alpacas! The only thing to mention, is that the top bunk is much higher than a standard bunk. Unfortunately this meant that both of our young children weren't comfortable climbing to the top or sleeping up there. Other than that, it is a beautiful and accessible accommodation facility.

This is a pleasant place to stay, just 5 mins or so outside Bellingen. I particularly like the views towards the Dorrigo plateau from the small, covered verandah areas outside each room. The lower rooms have more uninterrupted views but the next level up I think has the KS beds. Beds are very soft which suits me but perhaps not everyone. The restaurant is not open every night, so a trip into town may be necessary. There are a couple of decent pubs and some other options.

Great location, close to Bellingen. Our room had a great view of the mountains and sunset. Comfy bed and very clean. We are ate at Three Blue Ducks which was excellent.
