Overall the resort is very nice though the pool needed some maintenance and cleaning. Our room had a great layout & comfortable bed. Kitchen utensils were mimimal but adequate. If you wanted to use the verandah spa management required an additional $50. A bit steep!

Lovely deck to pool area. Pool could use a clean. Water was cold.

Lovely resort but definitely needs a little bit of TLC around the fabulous pool area. Chairs were all broken and pool looked like it needed a good vacuum. The rooms were a really good size and well equipped. Would definitely recommend it.

Stayed here 5 years ago and was blown away by how good this place was. Unfortunately, now it has gone downhill in a big way. Stayed 5 nights and our room wasn't serviced once. The bathroom was moldy and the toilet seat was loose. We had to request all the essentials - toilet paper, towels, milk, shampoo & conditioner. The pool and spa area needs maintenance - tiles missing and concrete damage. I'll be looking elsewhere next time i venture back.

Understaffed and incompetent. It would take 20 mins to get a drink from the bar even though no one else was being served. Refused entry for buffet breakfast although there were 5 mins left until breakfast ends and still loads of food left. Such a waste. No notification that there would be no lunch menu over the Easter weekend until we arrived. Hardly any cutlery or glasses available at the restaurant and what was available was also dirty. Food was dry and not much choice. Dirty plates and cutlery in the apartment. Swimming pool tiles were coming away under our feet.

While the pool was the attraction for us, everything else promised was underwhelming. The property looks tired and in need of an update. There is little atmosphere, no pool bar as advertised. The pictures on the website and Wotif are certainly not the reality. While the rooms are clean and comfortable, the room was never serviced during our 5 night stay. We had to continually ask for supplies like fresh towels, tea bags, toilet paper etc. And the shower drain looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months - hair and soap scum covering the drain - eew! The resort’s only drawcard is the pool that is right at your doorstep. The Plantation Restaurant was a dead zone. The staff were even unenthused and looked like they wished they were somewhere else. I think this place stopped being a ‘resort’ a long time ago. It needs some investment to bring it back to its former glory.

Our room was a great size for 2 adults 1 toddler. It had everything we needed. Walking distance to the beach, or a 5 min drive to Agnes main area or 1770. Our room was spotless, no dust no mould or anything, would have to be one of the cleanest hotel rooms we have been in. Air con was great, and it was a great addition to have a private spa bath out side.

Front desk staff lovely and welcoming. Stayed in room 99. Opened the door (handle not working properly, and a slightly musty smell in the room. Opened the sliding door and fine when it was (no screen sadly) to let fresh air in. It was fine after that. Cleanliness good but room overall needs some general maintenance (grout/silicone needs cleaning from small bits of mould)

I've stayed a few times before and previously enjoyed it, this time I noticed the facility aging. Car park was smelly. Bowls at breakfast were dirty for continental breakfast. The rooms were tidy. Staff were nice.

Apartment wasnt clean to an acceptable standard, made us feel gross. Bed was hard as rock. Person/cleaner in upper apartment threw a bucket of water? Over the balcony, almost hitting us while we were "trying" to relax. Noise from other guests was disturbing, squealing kid and could hear the people in upper level dragging their chairs across the floor, some sort of arguemet broke out around 1am on the first night we stayed. Mould in aircon, shower was feral. Thankful for my crocs as we were scared of catching something or growing an extra body part from the bacteria. Mouldy, chlorine, urine smell in room and hall way. Convenient location, friendly staff, has alot of potential. Shame its not well maintained and cleanliness isnt a priority.

Unser erstes Zimmer hatte kein WLAN und keinen TV Empfang. Der nette Hotel Manager hat uns ein kostenloses Upgrade und ein Umzug in ein anderes Zimmer in der 1. Etage mit Poolblick angeboten. Damit war alles perfekt. Die Zimmer sind groß und modern eingerichtet, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und alles ist in einem guten Zustand. Vielen Dank.

Planned a romantic night with my partner for his birthday. Only to find out in room spa was out of order. Went to reception and was told they have no other rooms available with working spa. Another negetive was a charge of $50 to use the spa on the balcony of the room!

Very comfortable, but our balcony door wouldn't open. Parking spaces are a bit tight. Washing/Drying machine was great.

Internet not working, no free to air or paid TV. Pool had black residue in parts, was lacking maintenance and had leaves and debris. Buffet Breakfast was expensive with no a la carte options.

My room was a swim up room and was cleaned to a good standard. The location was good and close to both the shopping strips as well as 1770. The pool was clean however requires some maintenance, for e.g the pool surface on the bottom needs to be redone, however kids didn’t mind and spent fun utilising it. My biggest complaint was the noise level I experienced from my room. When ever an entry door was opened or closed the sound would reverberate through my room, voices could be clearly and loudly heard from passage ways as well as neighbouring units when sitting outside.

The room was spacious but it and the rest of the property seemed a little run down. Staff were helpful when I requested to switch rooms, and moved me without an issue. It was fine for an overnight stay.

Check in time was 2pm. We reached at 2:30 and were told the room is not ready yet. Waited until 3:30pm and still nothing from reception so we ended up getting the room keys and told them we will wait in the room for the cleaning staff to finish. When we reached the room it was already ready don't know since how long. The reception obviously didn't bother to check other then looking at the screen. Room was good sized and clean except they didn't clean the fridge and there was some old seafood still present in the freezer from previous guests. After putting our luggage we came down to go to pool around 3:45 and reception was closed. Not a single staff visible for any help. No pool towels nothing. I understand it was boxing day but it's a resort and as guests paying $450 a night we expect some basic services. No internet and T.v didn't work either. Next day upon asking reception I was told the hotel is quite booked so internet wasn't available. Seriously??? Swimming pool and the area was quite nice but very poorly maintained. All the toiletries had to be asked for at the reception daily. Even the towels had to be asked for every day. Bathroom drainage wasn't the best so had to use towels to dry excess water every day. No one to take the rubbish either and had to empty ourselves. No sound proofing in the rooms. I guess it would be way better to AirBnb instead of staying here.

Nice for a few days. But they need to improve their systems. On arrival we were given a room that was not made up, very messy from last guests. They moved us to the road side, very noisy. Day 2 while resting in afternoon a stranger opened our door, he was given our room, showed the number on key, I rang reception to complain. Later that day our key stopped working despite booked and paid until the next day.

The room was well presented but lack of air-conditioning and heater not working was a very uncomfortable night stay, staff member next morning really wasnt concerned said she would pass it onto maintenance. Not the best response expected. Very disappointed

Nette Unterkunft, die etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist....aber noch voll ok. Liegt etwas abseits.

The property looks "tired" definately could have been cleaner. Parking was easy and close 2 1770 on walking path but a little too far from Agnes Water eateries.

This is a great resort with amazing pool. Our room was very comfortable with a comfy bed and an outside courtyard to sit. Afternoon entertainment by the pool was good, close to 1770 beach and Agnes Waters. A bit noisy in the mornings when the cleaners were moving about.

Great location with a short walk to the beach. I like the unique layout with apartments that have a private jetty to access the lagoon style pool at the centre of the resort. The Plantation restaurant was amazing, highly recommend.

Beautiful place to stay, apartments are clean and spacious, very child friendly. Close to main town and Marina.

Good size studio with large courtyard. Buffet breakfast misleading. Unfortunately breakfast staff member hadn’t turned up so front desk person had to fill in. Coffee not drinkable so probably should have been complementary.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Good lighting in room and bathroom. Went for breakfast, only buffet on offer. Very ordinary.

Very happy with our stay. Having a spa on the balcony was lovely and the pool was great. Excellent restaurant and love music. Loved our stay, would highly recommend

Resort was very good. Do not be tempted to dine at the restaurant. Whoops maybe that should be cafe. The food was actually good. The service was appalling. The cocktails were made from a book without a blender (terrible). Wait staff didn’t know one meal from another. There was a bar in the restaurant that was not in use for some reason to do with not paying. When you query the service or lack of the service deteriorates further.

Pity about the restaurant the worse breakfast we’ve ever had and seemed the chef didn’t care. Otherwise a great place maybe get on top of the bird issue particularly around the pool. If the restaurant was a place that was better priced, better food and a chef that can fry an egg I highly recommend for a stay here, well I would still recommend just go offsite to eat. Would of been nice to have the pool bar open as well. We will be back just won’t eat there.

Check in was okay. Staff were reasonably polite. Pool was dirty and univitung. Room was supposed to be a 1 bedroom suite but the doors to the bedroom had been removed. On site restaurant was horrible. The food was terrible and they are absolutely taking advantage with their prices. Would not atay again.
