Très surpris de voir que c’est une Auberge de jeunesse alors que la description sur Expedia ne le mentionne pas. Toilettes et douches communes. Aucune mention à cette effet sur Expedia. Odeur de moisissure. Porte de la chambre qui donne accès au 1er étage ne se barre pas. Aucun rideau pour l’intimité. Aucune circulation d’air. Seulement deux petites fenêtres. Odeur de cannabis à plusieurs reprises.

Séjour différent des autres avec l'aspect du château. C'est amusant. Notre arrivée a été plus longue pour trouver le gars qui s'occupait des arrivées puisqu'il n'était pas présent et ne répondait pas au téléphone. Nous l'avons retrouvé en train de travailler au resto d'à côté. Ne pas oublier qu'il faut monter les marches pour aller aux chambres et donc monter aussi nos affaires (3e étage). On peut monter aussi tout en haut de la tourelle et voir une vue absoluement magnifique de la péninsule acadienne. Le soir, c'est tout aussi beau, avec la lune qui reflète sur l'eau. La chambre n'est pas gigantesque, mais elle est très bien. Lit queen, petit sofa et porte qui donne sur un petit balcon extérieur. Par contre, il fait très chaud et juste des petites fenêtres. Nous avions notre petit ventilateur portable et nous en étions très contents ! Il y a aussi une cuisine commune en bas pour nous faire à manger si besoin. Belle expérience en général pour 1 ou 2 journées 😁

This place is not as advertised. The pictures do not represent what you will see. This place has no ocean view, it is surrounded by trees then there is an ocean at some distance( see the ocean view picture advertised was probably taken by a drone). The worst this is there is no bathroom or even a sink to brush your teeth in the room. We had to walk several flights of stairs to go to an outdoor bathroom. We had to leave after 1 night, and the owner refused to refund our 2nd night which we never stayed. There is also wild dogs at the property, not safe for kids

Terrible experience. The place is in disrepair. The owner charged my mother for a room I already paid for. The restaurant in the pictures is not operational. The pillows are filthy. It's full of bugs. Some spots are dangerous. It's so, so bad.

We arrived well within requested check in time but reception door was locked and only people visible were 3-4 young men apparently paining a deck. The location was in a heavily wooded area 500 meters from main road at end of a gravel road, no other customers and over all a bad feeling of not being safe! We did not stay as saw no one to check in. Only cars in gravel parking lot were of the workers? The exterior was very gaudy, painted a bright green and exterior narrow steps to access rooms. Would advise everyone to stay as far away as possible!!! Address does not even show on GPS maps!!! Looks nothing like the picture which was taken at night to hide a lot of unsavory details

This place should be closed. A complete craphole. Worst place I have ever had the misfortune to enter. Nothing is as advertised on the Expedia site. Toilet, shower are a shared experience and dirty. Do not book here!!!!!

Nous avons absolument adoré notre séjour de 4 nuits! Les propriétaires sont extrêmement gentils, les lieux sont propres et bien pensé, l’emplacement est magique et il y a tout pour se faire à manger! Nous repasserons certainement!

The building was very unique but the staff seemed disorganized. They had canceled one of my rooms without checking to see if it was an accidental duplicate reservation. Most of the description of the place was not accurate. Not wheel chair accessible, did not have bathrooms in every room, no TV, no fridge, no, microwave, hard uncomfortable beds, very tiny windows, no breakfast included, no hot water, no wifi, barely had cell service, no way to lock the door if you had to leave, and one staff went into our room without our permission after our stuff was in it. We made the most of it but will not be back!!! Will not recommend to others

Die bei der Buchung genannten Dinge (Frühstück verfügbar und Restaurant) waren überhaupt nicht vorhanden. Das Zimmer war sehr sehr klein und ohne Komfort (kein Kühlschrank, keine Kaffeemaschine). Dies zusammen rechtfertigt nicht den Preis für das gebuchte Komfortzimmer.

Located if French Quebec... But these folks do not speak english. I can a little and normally can make do. This was very difficult. Road in is a steep dirt road with washout sections.ex0edia address is wrong. Difficult for our heavy touring motorcycles to climb.. Electrical sockets didn't work, toilets didn't flush properly. Potable water questionable. No food options. Bed were not great,but adequate. Would not go again! Worst hotel of 15 day trip

Que dire de plus quand il faut dormir en famille dans une chambre sans clim, sans vemtilateur et qui affiche 29.5*C en se couchant et 25*C au reveil en aillant dormi les fenetres ouvertes... 0 service, pas de vélo, pas de plage, pas d activité pas de tv et on nous dit pas de diner ni de petit déjeuner car la cuisine n ouvre pas pour seulement 4 personnes ... Faut il parler de la litterie d un autre temps qui vous empeche de dormir tellement c est inconfortable ou bien du bruit du quad a 5h15 du matin sous les fenetres, ou encore du fait qu il faille ouvrir et fermer soit meme la barriere a l entrée avec les chiens autours ... Bref, l idée sur le papier était fantastique et je me faisait une joie d emmener mes enfant dans ce cadre enchanteur avec une histoire singuliere, ce fut un flop total ... Est ce que ca vaut la peine de payer pret de 200$ la nuit ... la réponse est clairement non. Si je devait donner du posotof ca serait le sourire du jeune homme qui nous acceuil et le calme du lieu.

Pire expérience d’hébergement! La chambre était grande comme un armoire à balai et les toilettes étaient à l’extérieur dans un autre bâtiment! Isolé comme endroit; à 1hr de tout; épicerie, restaurant etc

Beautiful setting in the woods with views of the sea. Quiet, comfortable, well accommodated, yes, it is a modern day castle!

The building was very unique but the staff seemed disorganized. They had canceled one of my rooms without checking to see if it was an accidental duplicate reservation. Most of the description of the place was not accurate. Not wheel chair accessible, did not have bathrooms in every room, no TV, no fridge, no, microwave, hard uncomfortable beds, very tiny windows, no breakfast included, no hot water, no wifi, barely had cell service, no way to lock the door if you had to leave, and one staff went into our room without our permission after our stuff was in it. We made the most of it but will not be back!!! Will not recommend to others

Séjour différent des autres avec l'aspect du château. C'est amusant. Notre arrivée a été plus longue pour trouver le gars qui s'occupait des arrivées puisqu'il n'était pas présent et ne répondait pas au téléphone. Nous l'avons retrouvé en train de travailler au resto d'à côté. Ne pas oublier qu'il faut monter les marches pour aller aux chambres et donc monter aussi nos affaires (3e étage). On peut monter aussi tout en haut de la tourelle et voir une vue absoluement magnifique de la péninsule acadienne. Le soir, c'est tout aussi beau, avec la lune qui reflète sur l'eau. La chambre n'est pas gigantesque, mais elle est très bien. Lit queen, petit sofa et porte qui donne sur un petit balcon extérieur. Par contre, il fait très chaud et juste des petites fenêtres. Nous avions notre petit ventilateur portable et nous en étions très contents ! Il y a aussi une cuisine commune en bas pour nous faire à manger si besoin. Belle expérience en général pour 1 ou 2 journées 😁

Terrible experience. The place is in disrepair. The owner charged my mother for a room I already paid for. The restaurant in the pictures is not operational. The pillows are filthy. It's full of bugs. Some spots are dangerous. It's so, so bad.

we had a hard time finding the property, only because it was up a dirt road so it threw us off. We were a little leery of what we got ourselves into but once we met the proprietor and talked with him we were at ease. We had a fantastic evening in his dining room with some amazing food and wine! The rooms were small but we only needed to sleep after 13 hours of riding on motorcycles. The buildings are unique and felt like we were in old world France. Very restful for the 3 of us!

Bonjour, Veuillez me donner suite concernant la réservation de cet hotel, j'ai eu la confirmation de vous autres comme quoi c'était réservé pour le dim soir 11 août jusqu'au 12 août. We arrived well within requested check in time but reception door was locked and only people visible were 3-4 young men apparently paining a deck. The location was in a heavily wooded area 500 meters from main road at end of a gravel road, no other customers and over all a bad feeling of not being safe! We did not stay as saw no one to check in. Only cars in gravel parking lot were of the workers? The exterior was very gaudy, painted a bright green and exterior narrow steps to access rooms. Would advise everyone to stay as far away as possible!!! Address does not even show on GPS maps!!! Looks nothing like the picture which was taken at night to hide a lot of unsavory details

Que dire de plus quand il faut dormir en famille dans une chambre sans clim, sans vemtilateur et qui affiche 29.5*C en se couchant et 25*C au reveil en aillant dormi les fenetres ouvertes... 0 service, pas de vélo, pas de plage, pas d activité pas de tv et on nous dit pas de diner ni de petit déjeuner car la cuisine n ouvre pas pour seulement 4 personnes ... Faut il parler de la litterie d un autre temps qui vous empeche de dormir tellement c est inconfortable ou bien du bruit du quad a 5h15 du matin sous les fenetres, ou encore du fait qu il faille ouvrir et fermer soit meme la barriere a l entrée avec les chiens autours ... Bref, l idée sur le papier était fantastique et je me faisait une joie d emmener mes enfant dans ce cadre enchanteur avec une histoire singuliere, ce fut un flop total ... Est ce que ca vaut la peine de payer pret de 200$ la nuit ... la réponse est clairement non. Si je devait donner du posotof ca serait le sourire du jeune homme qui nous acceuil et le calme du lieu.

Notre séjour a été magique. Le personnel est amical et accueuillant, le château est époustouflant, la vue est a couper le souffle et que dire de la table d'hôte, renversante. Nous avons adoré notre expérience au château.

My experience was extraordinary. I wasn’t expecting to go there with a pair of high heels and asking to get my toast half toasted with a grain of salt. I was expecting a calm environment and the nature. I just found it. THE PLACE TO STOP. But knowing if you are that part of the province you are probably looking to see and appreciate the wild wonders of our own country the beautiful eastern Canada. This is the first stop to do and why not ground yourself, take time to disconnect( they have a wonderful Wi-Fi connection) but just listen to the nature to connect better in your everyday life. This place has brought me to dream big. The entertainment, the food just wonderful, these places have to be seen. It’s beautiful and the staff is such an awesome teams including the owner. Thank you giving such an amazing opportunity to have a wonderful stay! I hope you love the gift I left and I wish to see you again soon.

Vraimwbt décevent , chambre qu'il bous a attribué etait minuscule sans chambre de bain et sans clé pour barrer la chambre. On à quand même décider de manger là...souper ordinaire....chili vraiment pas bon....inmageable...ma femme a vomi son souper durant la soirée et les intestins aussi empoisonnent alimentaire.....probalement le chili.... On est partie et on a pas couché là finalement on c'est prit un autre Hotel...je ne vous dirai pas a quel pont l'expérience fut décevante. ..

The room was too small. No fridge or microwave, no AC. collection of different colors of bed sheets blankets and pillows and towels . Breakfast startes too late @9:00am.

Château lollll! construction d’une autre époque, on entend marcher au dessus de nous , nos n’avons pas été avisés qu’il n’y avait pas de service de cuisine ou restauration comme indiqué suf le site , personne pour nous accueillir a notre arrivée, c’est le menuisier qui effectuait des travaux a l’extérieur qui as téléphoné su propriétaire Nous sommes aller au NB a 20 minutes pour aller souper, pas de cafetière dans la chambre J’ai vraiment détesté l’endroit, sommes parti très tôt le lendemain matin , rien à faire dans ce secteur Nous étions deux motos et la route qui mène au supposément château est en terre battue et un peu de roche , pas idéal pour se stationner Bref 0/10 est mon pointage Quand j’ai réservé j’avais inscrit payable a l’arrivée sur Expédia , le propriétaire a tout de suite encaissé le montant lors de la réservation….je comprends, j’aurais rebroussé chemin a l’arrivée quand j’ai vue l’allure de l’emplacement C’est vraiment désuet

Die bei der Buchung genannten Dinge (Frühstück verfügbar und Restaurant) waren überhaupt nicht vorhanden. Das Zimmer war sehr sehr klein und ohne Komfort (kein Kühlschrank, keine Kaffeemaschine). Dies zusammen rechtfertigt nicht den Preis für das gebuchte Komfortzimmer.

Terrible experience. The place is in disrepair. The owner charged my mother for a room I already paid for. The restaurant in the pictures is not operational. The pillows are filthy. It's full of bugs. Some spots are dangerous. It's so, so bad.

This place should be closed. A complete craphole. Worst place I have ever had the misfortune to enter. Nothing is as advertised on the Expedia site. Toilet, shower are a shared experience and dirty. Do not book here!!!!!

The idea or theme of a castle is a nice idea, but it didnt come through. The beds were very low, 12 inches off thr floor. No light over the sink in the bathroom.
