Limited space at the a parking area, noisy, good place in general.

The hotel did not have an adequate gym, they only have one weight per dumbbell, they have one 15lb weight not two you get what I am saying. Also if you like hot water this is not the place for you, at best they had luke warm water

Fácil acceso, cercano a estación metro y metro bus. Restaurantes cerca, y super el Rey y farmacias cerca. Así como cinta costera. Personal de limpieza siempre atento, las señoras muy trabajadoras y todos los días hacen limpieza puntual, dejando cada habitación limpia y con olor agradable. Oficial de la entrada es muy servicial y atento a cualquier consulta. La recepcionista de la noche del 31 diciembre 2024 es la única amable y siempre dispuesta a sus labores, el resto de recepcionistas no son accecibles y poco simpáticos. El hotel no cuenta con espacio habilitado para usar escritorio y colocar computadora para trabajar. El desayuno no es variado. La joven salonera de la mañana es la única amable así como la señora que prepara los huevos es muy simpática. En general es una buena opción, si tuviera espacio para teletrabajo sería excelente.

I love this hotel, its affordable and has 24 hour room service, wow that was a nice surprise. I will keep coming back

The staff were friendly, gym definately needs an upgrade

Elevador com problemas, precisamos subir e descer as escadas várias vezes pois o elevador não funcionava. Não havia geladeira no quarto, então não tínhamos como ter água ou outras bebidas geladas mesmo comprando.

They charged me a extra $5 to check into my room one hour early which was not a good start considering the room was ready anyway. The breakfast was good value at just over $5 and restaurant staff very good. The Restaurant is open 24 hours which is good. The Hotel manager was very friendly and sorted out a steak meal that was not up to standard . House maids were friendly and do a good job by the cleanliness of the hotel. Receptionist spoke reasonable English and were always willing to help. The Hotel was quiet at night. This Hotel is good for the money charged. Stayed another night on my return from Cuba.

No pool. Google Pict show pool. No water no drinks in fridge. , tv wasn’t working call twice for repair finally last day they call them for towels 1 st day never get extra towels. People was friendly thou , many noise around! So dirty around the property. Restaurant was okay. . Very disappointed 😔

Lastimosamente el buen servicio que previo recibimos en diciembre 2024 decayó. El restaurante lo cierran temprano y no abren ni para solicitar agua, ni contestan las llamadas. La Calidad del desayuno bajó. La persona que prepara huevos a gritos dijo que estaba en dos cosas a la vez que así no podía trabajar. El personal de recepción con el de la seguridad en comportamientos no serios.El servicio de limpieza a la habitación excelente. No tienen un lugar acondicionado para usar computadora y tele trabajar, si vas a restaurante el personal le molestas que estés ahí.

La relación calidad- precio creo que está bien, se dañó el elevador

The hotel is old and dated. The room is small and I saw small bugs and cockroaches in my room. There is no fridge or anything else. The breakfast is very limited and everyone is waiting for the omelette to be made one by one. During my 3 days stay, there was no hot water for the whole building. Stay away if possible. The only good thing about this hotel is the locaion, its a block away from metro (if you use it) and 2 blocks away from supermarket Reys.

Staff very nice, price is good loved that included breakfast. Location was great also. Hotel does need an upgrade. Rooms smell moldy or humid, floors felt oily and sticky in the room. Room walls need caring plaster just peels off by windows. Bathrooms are a little moldy. Breakfast was great but floors are dirty sticky and super slippery.

Had to clean the heavily finger printed windows myself. Disgusting. The "gym"? Couldn't stand to be in there for a minute, let alone get a workout. Smelled moldy, big time. Worried I'd invite lung infection by staying. Staff knew very little English and was only marginally friendly. Also, avoid taxi stalking you outside. Rip off!

Run down, moldy and not well maintained

Bueno en cuanto a limpieza me encontré con que las camas no habían sido cambiadas y esto no es nada agradable. Primera vez que me sucede algo así anteriormente me he hospedado allí y no me había pasado algo así.

El edredón y las almohadas sucias, se nota que no las cambian regularmente. Mal olor en el aire. Desayuno muy deficiente. Si hubiera algún supervisor o jefe en el hotel se daría cuenta que estos pequeños detalles descuidados hacen una gran diferencia en la experiencia del huésped. Este hotel pudiese estar mucho mejor, ojalá los dueños se enteren que lo están administrando pobremente.

Habitación sucia, pelos, vichos.

Hotel sujo, com lixeiras sem tampas e lixo caindo nos corredores. Quarto grande, até confortável, mas chão engordurado e toalhas ruins.

En mi habitación me tocó matar a varias cucarachas (más de 20). Al tercer día que indiqué esto me ofrecieron cambiarme de cuarto pero esa noche regresé muy tarde y al día siguiente me debía ir temprano entonces no me cambié. También me dijeron que iba a fumigar pero hoy en mi último día igual vi cucarachas. El personal muy amable. Pero hay una situación de limpieza que debe mejorar

This was the nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Check-in took 55 minutes because our room “wasn’t ready” after someone spilled something all over it. When we finally got in, the floors were sticky, the place smelled, and staff seemed annoyed when we asked for cleaning. They sent a lady with a dry Swiffer who barely wiped the floor. We asked for a new room, but they claimed they were fully booked, so we cleaned it ourselves. We found roaches and bugs in the bed, and the entire place reeks of mold. The shower door was rusted and broken, so every time you shower, the bathroom and the main room outside flood with water. Moisture never dries, making the smell even worse. The bathroom had a broken soap holder, a constantly leaking faucet that dripped all night, and the corner of the shower looked kicked in. Hallways were dirty and noisy, making it hard to sleep. No one at the hotel spoke English, which made resolving issues nearly impossible. Even speaking Spanish, staff acted annoyed and unhelpful. The booking falsely advertised on-site laundry, but there was none; they told us to go somewhere else. The hotel smells, the area is bad, and nothing is maintained. We travel often and have never seen anything this filthy or poorly run. Pay more and stay somewhere else. This place is disgusting and should be avoided at all costs.

The property needs to inform travellers that the metro is 4 minute walk from Sant Tomas Metro station. An easy ride from the airport to save on the traffic. Breakfast is limited to mainly omelette and carbs in the covered trays. Needs improvement. Room is need of painting and decorating. Floors could do with a daily mopping. There were dried in splashes on the bathroom door. Keeping on top of room maintenance would be good budget hotel or not. The hotel served its purpose

It was a nice stay, especially for the price. The location wasnt bad either, the hotel is only minutes from things to do. The restaurant on the 6th floor has an extensive menu, (food and drink) but the options/what they actually HAVE are limited. I recommend going out to eat. If you don't have a microwave in your room, the restaurant will heat your food up for you. The wifi worked really slow at times, if at all, and the connection was pretty weak, I called down to the front desk and the clerk actually reset if for me. It worked great for a little while, but after a day, the connection went back to being sporadic. Overall, it was a good stay, with a few minor hiccups.

Nice, modern and central neighborhood, close to the Cinta boulevard. Staff is very friendly. It could be cleaner but I guess that’s also part of the budget price. The condition of the walls isn’t great, we could hear the elevator beeping in the room, even with our “extra silent” earpods in our ears.

Shower is bad quality, air conditioner is smelly, generally just so so.

Housekeeping was really slow to clean the room in the middle of the week, not getting to the room until 4p or 5p. After being out all day, I just wanted to get back to the room, take a shower and relax but couldn't - looks like they prioritized new arrivals over existing check ins. Area they are in have very few good restaurants, so expect to travel away from the hotel. Biggest downside is the hotel is extremely noisy. People talking or playing music in the hallways (and outside traffic noises) made it difficult to sleep. The room was okay, the bed was comfortable. If you are looking for a lower price room to sleep, it's okay but bring ear plugs

Room was "Mid- Grade. Clean, no bugs of any kind. Clean, fresh bed linen. One of the best showers Ive ever had! Restaurant was ok. Limited menu. Not going to win any awards, but was priced right. Not bad. Busy street outside. Even 5 floors up it got loud. No big deal. We would consider staying again.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good

A nice, clean, economical place in a decent location. Service was great and the rooms are well kept. My only concern was that I found it loud at nights as the windows were older so there was no way to shut out th ed noise. The air conditioner did a fairly good job of drowning out the noises.

Terrível. Tivemoqye trocar duas vezes de quarto por diversas razões, chave eletrônica não funcionava e depois quarto inabitável. Limpeza de péssima. Atendimento fraco e pessoal desinteressado.

The cleaning staff are nice. But the rest of the staff are super unhelpful and rude. The restaurant is a complete ripoff. They have children working there. Unable to speak to customers. They will mess up your order and then blame you. Avoid this place if you’re looking for a place to relax.

Made booking on 8th May, confirmed booking on the 3rd June. On arrival hotel was booked out. Reservation was still valid. Never saw beyond the reception area. We were not even afforded a complementary breakfast. We were then transferred to the Grand International hotel. Receptionist, very accommodating, rooms and house keeping better than average, b/fast ok. Quote a few restaurants around the hotel, metro is 8-10min walk away. Wifi good throughout the hotel. Never booking with Ojos del Rio ever again...

Muy poco personal, larga espera en Lobby cuando hice check in.

El proceso para el Check in fue lento. Esperamos más de media hora.

If you want a less expensive hotel that is safe, reasonably comfortable, reasonably clean for an old place, has great, friendly staff, a nice breakfast, etc. this is your place! It is a couple block's walk to a great REY grocery store, pharmacies, the ocean/walking/bike path, etc.--super convenient. The area and adjacent buildings are definitely run down, but that is normal for the area, in my experience. It seems safe enough. We would definitely stay here again!

It was in close vicinity to Santo Tomas Station, so easy access to the metro train

Very conveniently located. Not the best area to walk after dark, but not the worst either. It is safe enough, but the sidewalks could use some repair and the garbage needs to ne cleaned up. Great staff!

Excelente opção custo x benefício. O hotel está muito próximo do Rey Supermercado Bela Vista (o que facilita em compras rápidas para estadias mais longas) e também da estação de Metrô Santo Tomás, o que proporciona fácil locomoção por transporte público. As habitações são espaçosas, banheiro funcional e a ducha bem forte. O café da manhã é honesto. O pessoal da recepção é bastante atencioso. No geral, satisfeito!

Never did the breakfast,staff was nice,A/C was great, area around hotel was dull as to going into El Carmen which is always lively, room should of had a an electric kettle and a pressing iron which was a hamper to cause we had to go to reception to borrow one otherwise it was not bad

Excelent location near Metro line. Relative close walk to Cinta Costera. I didn´t feel any danger.
