Pool has been closed for 2 years or more. Still listed on their amenities. They were undergoing renovations, which have been needed for a while. But a bit too little, too late. A car was newly broken into at the front of the building, (and it had been raining and probably soaked the drivers side) but when I asked about security, they didn’t seem to be very concerned. Staff could be a slight bit more cheerful. They weren’t mean, just not very inviting.

This property is under construction. The rooms are pretty, all new, but the hallway carpet was old and nasty. And the worst part was the pool was closed and we didn't know until we got there. This time next year it will be great! After they finish the remodeling

Yes the hotel was in the middle of construction but the remodeled room was clean and nice. The receptionist was pleasant on check in and called housekeeping to make sure my room was ready. The breakfast was fresh and for the first time during traveling i could drink the coffee. Liquid creamer was nice. Yes hallway carpet was dirty but as long as they are remodeling i understand not replacing until construction is done. There are some last minute punch list to be done in the rooms but overall one of the better places I have stayed

The room had been remodeled with the carpet replaced with flooring, bed was comfortable, air conditioner worked well, enough towels provided & available upon request, lobby and front desk clean, staff welcoming, friendly, & accommodating. Breakfast was great and lots of variety. Laundry services in the Hotel easy to use and pay for. I know the Hotel is under construction and remodeling, but the remainder of the Hotel was dirty with every old carpeting - it was disgusting to walk on - very sticky and worn. I cleaned & disinfected my shoes every time I walked on the common carpets. Outside was unkept with little curb appeal. Parking was very limited because of contract construction companies staying at the Hotel. Large trucks and vans took up most of the parking for other patrons of the Hotel. My room was very musty smelling. I had to empty the dehumidifier every day. I also purchased at my own expense solid room and wall socket air fresheners. Also vent air fresheners in the air conditioner. The worst thing was I found a roach in my room in the corner of the entrance door and the closet on the last day of my stay. Thank goodness because I would have left and demanded a refund of my pre-paid hotel stay.

Did not know property was under FULL renovations until we pulled in. Given the option to cancel however we had a funeral in hours, so we had to get ready and could not scour for another hotel. Pool and Gym were closed which as well we were not notified of during check-in. Our bed was comfortable however the room we stayed in had no curtains so we got the full morning sun waking us up much earlier than we would have liked. Very gross dirty flooring in all hallways. Seemed to have very limited staff so breakfast was not refilled in a timely manner. Definitely would not recommend until renovations are over.

First room that we were assigned was nasty. It had not been cleaned at all, dirty sheets, hair on and in the bed, coffee spilled in the floor, dirt all in the floor. Second room was cleaner but ugh. Entry into door is jacked up, the door didn't shut smoothly. Needs repair and maintenance attention.

The room and public areas were very dirty. The room smelled very strong (guess they sprayed some chemical stuff), hardly breathing -- I got a headache, runny nose, sneezing, and itching eyes. The breakfast was nice though

They have a policy to clean the rooms every 3rd day. I feel that is too long to go without cleaning a room. We checked in on a Wednesday and our 3rd day fell on the day before checkout. So, they wouldn’t service the room. We went 4 days without trash being emptied, floors swept, or the restroom being cleaned. When asked to be put on the list to have the room cleaned, they just quoted policy.Very unsanitary. Either clean the rooms every 2 days or allow customers to request a cleaning. If you won’t to keep good customers, this is how you do it. emptied

The property was being remodeled, and had I known I wouldn’t have made a reservation. The carpet needs replacing, and the smell of mold & mildew on the 3rd floor caused me and my 5 year old’s asthma to flare up.

Decent hotel, recently renovate. Unfortunately detail was not given to the complete project as blackout curtain wasn’t close enough to window to do anything, the space around the bathroom door was not cleaned, and the bathroom had 0 space. Generally though a decent room for a one night stay. Pretty good breakfast, and decent service. A little pricey for what it is, but it was about the best balance of quality and price for a game day weekend.

I arrived at 1pm and asked since it was Monday if I could check in and was told absolutely not and the woman was really rude, I asked if they were really busy Sunday night and she again said I do not assign any rooms until after 3pm. I have been traveling for over 40 years and you will not get my business again.

First of all I reserved a king room and was given a queen room. Bed was too small, room had an odor wasn’t handicap accessible like I asked floor was dirty no hot water and bathroom faucet was almost falling out of wall. Staff was rude, unfriendly and unprofessional and unwilling to accommodate needs. Will NEVER stay again and will let all my friends know also

The 2 lady’s at the check in counter were extremely rude. They were very disrespectful. They were not polite at all when helping and were doing things that I have never experienced checking in with a reservation with hotels.com. They made assumptions about my trip that was none of their business and made snarky comments under their breath behind the counter. Then on the phone with my wife they were also very rude. We had booked this room days in advance and had already paid for it. They are doing everything in their power too. It let us have this room. Plus when we got to the room the a/c was off and the room was very hot.

Everything was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Location seemed safe and comfortable. The only issue I had was I waited about 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk for check in. It was a late check in after working all day and my 7 year old and I were already tired. Other than that it was fine. They do have construction going on but we weren’t there long enough to really notice.

My wife and I stayed for a week. The hotel is in the middle of a remodel so some areas are nice and some are old. Our room was partially updated, the bathroom was not, it could have used a good scrubbing, remodel or not. The breakfast was one of the worst supplied ones we've seen. Very little put out each day. However price was great.

The water pressure was the best of any hotel I have stayed in before. My wife and I found the bed to be quite comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was also very good with lots of options. I do wish the bathroom door opened out to give more space in the bathroom, but for the money, you wont likely find a nicer place in Columbus.
