The roof top pool was small with limited chairs and umbrellas. People would put there towels on the chairs at 6am. Then not return until 10 or 11am. The hotel should have a policy that if a chair is unoccupied for 30 minutes they clear the chair for others. The bar tender at the pool was great!

When you look for the beach experience this is not the place for you. The pool and beach chairs are on the 4th floor of this hotel. You need to use 2 lifts and a long walk to get from the pool to the beach!!! The building is long and lifts are placed far from each other, not one of them covers all floors of the building. There are no chairs on the beach itself because it is forbidden by the law at this beach, so you can only lie down on your towel, mostly in full sun. I think it should be clearly mentioned in the hotel offer. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are nice, the breakfast is very nice, the service is very pleasant, and the beach restaurant is very nice, but if you want beach experience and not the pool experience this is not a hotel for you.

Very very nice beachfront hotel. Rooms good size, clean and well maintained. Breakfast has adequate options and taken in the lobby area. Flamingo Bar set on the beach offers happy hour drinks and a good food and drink menu. Roof top pool provides very nice views and is serviced by its own bar and small dining area. I would definitely return to the Bandara again

The hotel is good but a little overpriced. One to two nights at the most. The restaurant was expensive and the food was disappointing. The pool area had a bunch of ratty fake grass that needs to be replaced and they need to address the cushions on the loungers.

Perfect little corner to enjoy a beach life for a few days. Staff as well as everyone in the neighborhood (shipowners, restaurant folks, etc) are beyond nice. Such a great community. PS. Hotel’s restaurant is under a renovation as of Nov 2024. So, there are construction activities in the property but they never really interrupt our days.

One of a very few Hotels in this area. Without a car or motor bike it’s getting fast boring. Beach you can’t enjoy so much due to sea urchin. Roof top bar is nice but closes much too early - at 8pm… this would be the only spot you can go after dinner… Flamingo bar is poor at night… for a few days to chill ok…

Set on beautiful beach . Good restaurant.cocktails Few restaurants around and of course Thai massage. 7/11 etc. Breakfast buffet was really good especially the egg station good mix of local and international breakfast Staff lovey but no sun loungers or parasols on the beach which really did spoil the experience. Some people left towels on the few sun loungers upstairs near pool and went out for trip or lunch etc . So two days couldn’t sit on beach or pool at all . Also I slipped on the steps getting in the pool hurt my wrist . Was very nervous after so my husband helped me in and out of the pool. Read in reviews that it had happened to others and two other people fell while we were there . We spent time outside hotel trips etc but would be nice to be able to sit by beach and pool and relax.

Hotel room smelled like sewer the whole time we stayed. The bed had sand all over the comforters and towels were damp. A/c machine constantly leaked water and felt unsafe to use.Getting around the hotel is very confusing and hallways are dark. Washing clothes is very difficult with only 1 dryer in the entire hotel. Staff is very nice and curtious otherwise.

Servicen var veldig god. Alt annet var ganske skuffende. Rommene var mindre enn forventet. Litt skittent på rommet. Ingenting var som avbildet. Stranden og bassengområdet var helt greit, ganske mye folk. Resturanten Flamingo til hotellet var kjempe skuffende. Rett og slett elendig, dessverre. Ville kanskje valgt noe annet om jeg var søken på et romantisk sted for meg og min kjære.

Very nice hotel with clean, modern rooms, directly on the beach. Nice roof top pool with amazing views and good cocktails - try the signature cocktail called Red Velvet. The restaurant (Flamingo) which is on the beach had a good selection of very good dishes. We had amazing pasta. The breakfast was good but basic - really good omelette. There are a few restaurants nearby but you will need transport if you want to explore further.

Clean, friendly and helpful staff, on the beach and with roof top pool. Breakfast was ok, could wish waffles and pancakes was freshly made. Fresh egg bar and in general alot to choose from. A bit special with windows from bathroom to the room but there were curtains. Nice room with balcony and we could se a bit of the sea from the balcony.

my ONLY negative issue with this hotel is that the Wi-Fi connection in our room (1217) was mostly non-existent. It was quite terrible. I think that this is inexcusable in 2025. Fortunately, I did have a hotspot on my phone. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and we had a decent view of the sea across rooftops. Breakfast had decent selections.

My mom and I stayed at this resort in Jan 2025!! We enjoyed this resort. It was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, check in and check out was seamless. Rooms are on the smaller side but clean and unique decor inside! This resort is definitely on the quieter side and more remote than where we stayed in Kamala. It’s got a lovely pool, beach is nice but not the best for swimming (little rocky and shallow). There are a few restaurants walkable distance but we did not venture out. The flamingo restaurant in the hotel is lovely, very small menu but the food is really good! The resort is located directly on the beach which is nice, some vendors and restaurants along the beach but not too many options. I’d stay here again, but definitely if you’re looking for more of a quiet low key stay!

The good: the pool was very nice and clean. The staff were very nice and friendly. The room was great. Very clean and modern. I was premium sea view with balcony and the glass and mirrors in the bathroom were pretty cool and sexy.There was a nice beach bag with towels for the pool which was a nice touch. The restaurant on the ground floor at the beach side was good. The Bad: The beach is not great. The water is very murky and it's crowded. I would not swim there. While the staff was very friendly the other guests were generally rude and it generally did seem to attract a lot of happy people. I do not recommend this property for a solo traveler. The breakfast in the lobby was substandard and the food was generally pretty bad. Seems this hotel caters to primarily europeans as there were lots of meats for breakfast but not a lot of healthy options. The traditional Thai food offered was not appealing. There was a bowl of plain yogurt but not a lot of add ons such as fruit and it tasted bad. I did not like this neighborhood as it seemed to lack a sense of place or character. Not a beautiful quintessential Phuket beach experience whatever that means.

The ocean view was stunning. Staff attentive and friendly. Breakfast was great with a variety of selections, and egg station was made to order and delicious. What impressed me was that I was able to book excursions to different islands. The pick up spot was literally right down the beach entrance, next to the flamingo bar. Room was climate controlled to perfection. Highly recommend this resort but go for the upgrade room, you will not be disappointed. There is an ATM machine right outside with the nice security guard there to protect you.

The hotel staff are very attentive and hospitable. I loved the room and it was very comfortable. It’s a bit far from Patong and the airport but definitely worth it to escape the loud night life. I loved the pool on the rooftop and I would so stay again at this hotel when I come back to Phuket.

The hotel was lovely and personally catered for all of my needs. It is not a huge place and is away from all of the hype you get in areas like Patong which was right up my street. I got onsite help booking my excursions and transportation when needed. The pool was nice and although the space isn’t huge I didn’t struggle to get somewhere to sunbathe whenever I went out there. Having the bar close by was helpful on lazy days for food and drinks. The team there were also very friendly. Flamingo was a nice restaurant and the food was tasty, however it was a bit more on the pricey side than what I had become accustomed too, however compared to the UK still nothing to grumble about. Other than the room, pool area and on site restaurant I didn’t experience any of the other amenities, so can’t really comment on the quality of them. I preferred to pay the prices externally for spa treatments and the gym was not something I was here for. The walk to the beach was short and if you are happy to spread your own towel and provide your own refreshments it’s a lovely place to spend time by the water. The only real critique I would give is that the partial sea view is exactly that in order to enjoy it from the room I was in and most to be fair based on the configuration of the hotel you are likely only going to be able to enjoy when physically stood on your balcony. We did not get the ocean view room we paid for. The roof top bar was understaffed. The gym had mosquitoes. It was difficult to get transportation. The only good thing was the buffer breakfast. And the tourism agent was very helpful

Staff excellent, except the driver to the airport. I'm not sure if he hadn't slept for 2 days or was drunk but couldn't keep the vehicle in the line had to apologize at the end of the trip because of his terrible driving

My mom and I stayed at this resort in Jan 2025!! We enjoyed this resort. It was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, check in and check out was seamless. Rooms are on the smaller side but clean and unique decor inside! This resort is definitely on the quieter side and more remote than where we stayed in Kamala. It’s got a lovely pool, beach is nice but not the best for swimming (little rocky and shallow). There are a few restaurants walkable distance but we did not venture out. The flamingo restaurant in the hotel is lovely, very small menu but the food is really good! The resort is located directly on the beach which is nice, some vendors and restaurants along the beach but not too many options. I’d stay here again, but definitely if you’re looking for more of a quiet low key stay!

The ocean view was stunning. Staff attentive and friendly. Breakfast was great with a variety of selections, and egg station was made to order and delicious. One of a very few Hotels in this area. Without a car or motor bike it’s getting fast boring. Beach you can’t enjoy so much due to sea urchin. Roof top bar is nice but closes much too early - at 8pm… this would be the only spot you can go after dinner… Flamingo bar is poor at night… for a few days to chill ok…

The hotel is good but a little overpriced. One to two nights at the most. The restaurant was expensive and the food was disappointing. The pool area had a bunch of ratty fake grass that needs to be replaced and they need to address the cushions on the loungers.

Perfect little corner to enjoy a beach life for a few days. Staff as well as everyone in the neighborhood (shipowners, restaurant folks, etc) are beyond nice. Such a great community. PS. Hotel’s restaurant is under a renovation as of Nov 2024. So, there are construction activities in the property but they never really interrupt our days.

The good: the pool was very nice and clean. The staff were very nice and friendly. The room was great. Very clean and modern. I was premium sea view with balcony and the glass and mirrors in the bathroom were pretty cool and sexy.There was a nice beach bag with towels for the pool which was a nice touch. The restaurant on the ground floor at the beach side was good. The Bad: The beach is not great. The water is very murky and it's crowded. I would not swim there. While the staff was very friendly the other guests were generally rude and it generally did seem to attract a lot of happy people. I do not recommend this property for a solo traveler. The breakfast in the lobby was substandard and the food was generally pretty bad. Seems this hotel caters to primarily europeans as there were lots of meats for breakfast but not a lot of healthy options. The traditional Thai food offered was not appealing. There was a bowl of plain yogurt but not a lot of add ons such as fruit and it tasted bad. I did not like this neighborhood as it seemed to lack a sense of place or character. Not a beautiful quintessential Phuket beach experience whatever that means.

Good restaurant.cocktails Few restaurants around and of course Thai massage. 7/11 etc. Breakfast buffet was really good especially the egg station good mix of local and international breakfast Staff lovey but no sun loungers or parasols on the beach which really did spoil the experience. Some people left towels on the few sun loungers upstairs near pool and went out for trip or lunch etc . So two days couldn’t sit on beach or pool at all . Also I slipped on the steps getting in the pool hurt my wrist . Was very nervous after so my husband helped me in and out of the pool. Read in reviews that it had happened to others and two other people fell while we were there . We spent time outside hotel trips etc but would be nice to be able to sit by beach and pool and relax.

Very nice hotel with clean, modern rooms, directly on the beach. Nice roof top pool with amazing views and good cocktails - try the signature cocktail called Red Velvet. The restaurant (Flamingo) which is on the beach had a good selection of very good dishes. We had amazing pasta. The breakfast was good but basic - really good omelette. There are a few restaurants nearby but you will need transport if you want to explore further.

The hotel was okay not bad but the surrounding area was not the best. We couldn't swim in the ocean as there were so many jelly fish. The view from the pool was amazing but from the rooms not so great even when you pay extra for ocean view. You get to see a green rooftop. Just okay nothing great.

It’s an ok resort because they don’t provide lounge chairs on the beach for their guests. You have to PAY FOR THE 2 PERSON CHAIR WHICH IS AN INSULT PARTICULARLY TO SOLO TRAVELERS. THANKFULLY I STAYED AT A NEARBY RESORT THAT OFFERED A DAYPASS ON THE BEACH WITH TOWELS AND LOUNGE CHAIRS. It was a 15 minute walking distance from The BANDARA BEACH RESORT. The WATER TO RINSE OFF THE SAND WAS LOW PRESSURE FAUCET INSTEAD OF A SPRINKLER. BREAKFAST WAS DECENT. THEY SHOULD PROVIDE THEIR GUESTS WITH BEACH CHAIRS AND TOWELS
