The location is great! The views are amazing. The beach access is convenient. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They have live music and a restaurant. Our room was the wine room. There was no TV, no air conditioner, only a ceiling fan. The mattress was hard and made loud noises when turning around. The sofa was a pull out bed and it was dirty. We found crumbs in it. The patio furniture was dirty and rusty. The bathroom has little privacy.

we loved our room and the view was amazing. Steps to the beach and not overcrowded. Restaurant had great food and the service we awesome. I like the location close to Puerto Nuevo and about 20 minutes to Rosarito and wine country. Parking was easy and safe. We will stay here again for sure.

The hotel is right of the freeway between Rosarita and Ensenada town 20 mins each way taxi costs to town $35.00-$40.00 . Hotel restaurant is very good ,staff is excellent. If you want to hide away their is NO TV , Fridge , heater, A/C etc. clean rooms you can walk to the beach, I saw dolphins ,food from restaurant wohh they hook you up. So depends on what you are looking for . Staff from security ,to cleaners ,front desk and yes even Hotel recommended taxi five stars . Also don't bother changing to local peso everything is $$. Not so cheap either expect US rates on food and drinks and taxis u r in the middle of nowhere. Everywhere you go lunch / Dinner /Breakfast $20.00 per instance .Idea of local ,cheaper ,mexico ,not happening. and payonline cheaper hotel charges 6%

Booked last minute didn't enjoy our stay right from checkin they start nickel and diming you. The room we booked said 3 adults but charged us $25 per kid. We get to our room and it smells of cigarettes and there are burn marks on the bed. Really the only thing worth anything was the views from the rooms. The rooms are outdated also there are no locks from the inside so anyone with the combo can come in I can't imagine they change the code for every customer.

Excelente atención del personal, me encantó la vista desde mi habitación, la playa limpia y muy solitaria perfecta para pasar unos dias tranquilos, limpio y ordenado, solo un detalle no tienen televisión, que igual con el paisaje que se tiene no se requiere ;)

We stayed at the Polynesian room and the ocean front view was amazing. It felt like a penthouse with the whole top floor of the building facing the ocean front was exclusively for this room. The host Hector was super nice and he gave us property tour of other rooms too as we plan to book this place again in future.

Beautiful location, although the beach is not the nicest or cleanest. Thematic rooms. The staff and owner are very nice and supportive. No TV in the room, Wi-Fi definitely needs improvement. Overall a nice stay.

I stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. It was super comfortable and I loved the room. The view from the balcony alone made the stay. The beach right in front of the hotel was picturesque. The room didn’t have a TV, so I brought one from home and connected it to the WiFi.

Never use Expedia, horrible experience with Expedia not the hotel! Go through booking. Hotel was great, food was great, room was absolutely perfect, we met the owner and she was so great and so was every single staff member. No complaints! Getting there was a learning lesson but the staff helped us with the bus taxis. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for such a great experience! We stayed in the Polynesian room and it was phenomenal! Super large with multiple couches, a wet bar, a comfortable king size bed, and over size deck. The restaurant is right below as well as the bars. It was very easy to walk downstairs have breakfast lunch or dinner and get it before dinner drink. The beach is a few stairs down And it was so gorgeous. The view from the room is phenomenal. The staff was so caring and welcoming and helpful. I wasn’t feeling well the day I arrived, and they brought our dinner up to our room after I ordered which was super convenient. They even brought me a portable fan. The staff went above and beyond and again one of the most comfortable beds, and we will be staying there again next year for longer. I highly recommend.

Booked last minute didn't enjoy our stay right from checkin they start nickel and diming you. The room we booked said 3 adults but charged us $25 per kid. We get to our room and it smells of cigarettes and there are burn marks on the bed. Really the only thing worth anything was the views from the rooms. The rooms are outdated also there are no locks from the inside so anyone with the combo can come in I can't imagine they change the code for every customer.

Staff was amazing. Hotel was charming and location in relation to the beach was perfect! They even adopt out rescue cats, I loved this. We stayed in the ice cave room for a last minute overnight trip. It was great for what we needed it for but We will definitely try an ocean view room next time. Welcome margarita was a nice touch; breakfast was delicious, coffee was great. Wish they had coffee earlier or in the room since I’m an early bird bird. Otherwise we will definitely be back.

We stayed here recently and if you want to have a private getaway with very minimal outings. This hotel is the perfect spot. Gabriel and others are very friendly and welcoming, the place is quite and private some downhill stairs and your right by the ocean. I would definitely come back again.

The staff was great. The rooms are great. The food was phenomenal and the views were beautiful. I recommend going to the restaurant and asking for a ceviche platter…. I recommend the Roman room with the great view!!! The beach is semi private very clean. Waters are great. South of Rosarito without the tourists Close to Puerto Nuevo We will be back

The hotel is right of the freeway between Rosarita and Ensenada town 20 mins each way taxi costs to town $35.00-$40.00 . Hotel restaurant is very good ,staff is excellent. If you want to hide away their is NO TV , Fridge , heater, A/C etc. clean rooms you can walk to the beach, I saw dolphins ,food from restaurant wohh they hook you up. So depends on what you are looking for . Staff from security ,to cleaners ,front desk and yes even Hotel recommended taxi five stars . Also don't bother changing to local peso everything is $$. Not so cheap either expect US rates on food and drinks and taxis u r in the middle of nowhere. Everywhere you go lunch / Dinner /Breakfast $20.00 per instance .Idea of local ,cheaper ,mexico ,not happening. and payonline cheaper hotel charges 6%

We liked access to beach and nice staff. No drinking water or phone in room. Also, no ac, hot water in shower first night, and no TV. The restaurant was just okay. Nice views of the beach.

Poco Cielo hotel is dated, quirky and quaint. They have themed rooms—kinda kitschy — but hey— that’s their theme. The tiles on our bedroom floor are broken and definitely needs fixing. There’s no shower curtains in the room we stayed in so expect water to splash all over the place. Not enough toiletries, You may want to bring your own. Cleanliness of sheets is questionable. Don’t expect an air conditioner — the ocean breeze is very nice during the daytime but I’m concerned about safety if I leave the sliding door open when we sleep at night. The room has a ceiling fan with a timer —which may not be enough for sleep, but it’s safer than keeping the balcony door open at night. Check in was easy as long as you figure out where to go. FYI, front staff may not be there at all times. So keep that in mind for late check ins. There’s no TV which is nice — go out of your balcony and enjoy the ocean view. We woke up early and saw pods of dolphins from our terrace and that more than made up for everything. Nice walk at the beach— easy access, one just needs to use from the stairs. It was a very busy (& expensive) when we were there due to the Baja music festival weekend. They have an on site restaurant with an awesome view of the sea. They have very good welcome cocktail/margarita/limonada, such a nice touch. I was able to converse with other guests and able to look at their rooms and it seem nice and bright, unlike ours. Overall- it’s ok. Just don’t expect much.
