The welcome on arrival was superb. We arrived early and our room was available. We had an upgrade to a room with a view of the Burj Khalifa. All of the staff were friendly and wanted to help. The location was excellent as walkable to Dubai Mall and fountains. We also made use of the free shuttle bus. The facilities at the hotel were amazing. We used the gym, spa and pool. Paul and his team at the pool were brilliant- moving sun beds to the sun for us. The breakfast arrangements were excellent. A huge range on offer with excellent service from all staff. The Eloquent Elephant was a welcome watering hole with a lively atmosphere and attentive staff. We discovered the Treehouse rooftop bar one evening. Fantastic views at sunset for a pre dinner drink. Overall The Taj was a fabulous experience where nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Staff was amazing they extended our stay for a couple hours free of charge because our flight was later in the day , they extended it from a 12pm -to 7pm check out , They have a free shuttle for service that will take you to the Dubai mall I will say the outdoor pool isn’t the greatest , it’s not every very big , it is surrounded by alot of buildings so you kind of miss out on sunshine as well as the view from the pool isn’t the best eaither because of surrounding buildings

We had a really nice time in Dubai. The Taj was a beautiful hotel with a gorgeous pool, a great breakfast buffet and a wonderful room. The only problem with our room is that the ceiling was leaking our first morning and they never cleaned the bathtub after they came and fixed it. They also never told me it was fixed. The bathtub was the only way to know they had been in there. The service in the restaurant was impeccable, however room service was very slow (all we ever ordered was Coke Zero) and it never got better. The food at the buffet in the morning was very good and it had food for pretty much everyone. Lastly, the location was great and very central to the tours and the attractions we were there to experience. Overall a great place to stay!

I always stay at taj dubai everytime i am in dubai… but i think this might have been the last time… there was a bedbug in my room and even after discovering it i was forced to stay in that room for one more night it was disgusting.. they changed my room the next day but still had nightmares about the situation…

It was very quiet the whole time we stayed there. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.I loved their hospitality. The breakfast buffet was delicious with wide variety of options. La vue sur la tour est seulement partielle, d'autres tours étant construites devant. D'année en année on voit de moins en moins. Le haut de la tour est visible depuis le petit salon. Nous avions demandé une chambre à un haut étage, et l'hôtel avait confirmé réception de notre demande, mais nous avons été placés encore plus bas que les fois précédentes. La chambre est propre, récemment rénovée et bien équipée. Par contre, il n'y a pas assez de lotion pour le corps dans la chambre pour 2 personnes. Le room service est excellent.

Checked in at 5pm. Took them 40 minutes to get my room ready. Wasn’t offered any compensation. Place was loud and construction really distracts from the location. Had a Burj Khalifa view but you can only see a tiny part of it. Probably won’t stay here again.

My 9yo daughter and I came from a long 17 hr flight hoping to rest and couldn’t because the club music—8 floors down—could be heard in our room. Even though security promised to see about a fix, sadly nothing changed. The hotel otherwise is nice, but if you need peace at night you have to ensure your room is nowhere near the clubs.

The room was clean, the bathroom was awesome with separate toilet room, shower, tub, and two sinks. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the Verge Kalifa (the tallest building in the world).

My experience was disappointing. The reception was good, but the staff at the hotel entrance did not seem experienced in dealing with guests. The housekeeping service opened my room door twice without permission and without knocking, even though I had already complained to the housekeeping manager after the first incident, yet it happened again. I also tried the hotel massage service: I booked for one hour but only received 49 minutes, and the cleanliness was average. Regarding the food, I ordered room service and tried the Arabic breakfast, Indian dinner, and a light pizza. Unfortunately, the food quality was poor, and I would not recommend ordering room service at all

Very poor front desk service. Food, waiters, greeters all very good. Manager was unable to understand needs of 2 beds as was travelling with a girlfriend and reservation said two beds and it was confirmed online with hotel. Took 2-4 hours to check in, manager was convinced the beds could be separated, but the staff said they could not be. He continued to stress his point after we had a 15 hours long plane ride…would not stay there again.

This is a nice and clean hotel. Location is not as great, you almost have to take a cab everywhere. There is construction going on the road which makes it not that pleasant to walk. Metro is almost close but still 15-20 mins walk. Breakfast was really good but service was very slow. Staff at the lobby are very helpful though. Rooms are nice and spacious and house keeping is great as well.
