shuttle to from Ball Park. In house bar/restaurant was convenient. Wish the bar was open before 5pm. Staff was friendly and professional. Room was clean and very comfortable.

My view out my window was a giant AC unit. Took a while to figure out there was a pull-down shade. Restaurant is not open every day and then not until 5 p.m. Pretty noisy with other guests. Thankfully had ear plugs. Free breakfast and pool were great! Friendly employees. Good parking. Comfortable beds and good amenities.

The hotel is in a great location if you’re going to the Milwaukee mile, state fair or summerfest. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Beds are very firm. Towels aren’t very luxurious (small and thin). Biggest issue currently (9/2025) is that it is recovering from flash flooding this summer. There is some construction which isn’t intrusive. The problem for me was the smell in the first floor - mold and mildew. I tried to use the treadmill in the workout area and could only stay in the room about a minute. The smell was overwhelming. It couldn’t have been healthy to breathe that in. Check on their progress before staying there. We were on the third floor and our rooms had no mildew/mold smell.

We have been staying at this location when we go to Brewer games for several years and have always been very happy with the facilities and especially the staff. Great breakfast and we very much appreciate the shuttle to American Family Field.

We went for the pool and the pool seemed so filthy. I wasn’t comfortable letting my kids swim for a long time. Water looked almost black!

We had stayed downtown on a Thursday and Friday. The rates for that hotel bumped up to $600, so we went elsewhere for Saturday The Hampton was great for us—clean, reasonably priced and in a good area. Discovering there was a complimentary shuttle to the Brewers game was a nice bonus.

The shower in my room leaked like crazy, had to waste a ton of towels to keep floor dry. Also house keeping didn’t come the first day. Breakfast was solid though for free, nice gym too.

This is my go-to hotel when I'm in Milwaukee for business. Prices are reasonable and the property is nicely maintained. I especially love that they have a restaurant on the premisses.

It fit our travel needs. Not having a hot tub was a disappointment. We will chose different lodging for our next trip.

We stayed 3 nights and didn’t get any room cleaning. Our feet were black from the floors. The signs said cleaning service every other day but we only got towels and one garbage can emptied. I had to go to the front desk for coffee, shower gel and garbage bags. They still didn’t come in our room to empty the garbage after I told the front desk. They never made the bed or took all of our dirty towels. We did like the location, breakfast and swimming pool.

Overall, the one-nite stay was good. Ample parking and easy to get to off the interstate. The woman at the desk (Jessica) was super-friendly - much appreciated! Hotel under remodeling/construction so it looked a bit more run down that it likely was. No mention about the pool, so not sure if it was open or not, but to be fair, we did not have much time to use it anyway. Didn't use the bar either. Breakfast good and a variety of options -- well stocked. Room was clean and had everything we needed except for a smudge of something on the bottom of the sink cabinet. Not sure what that was. Appreciated all the places to place luggage and other items. Wall outlets blocked from being able to be used -- didn't like that, but other outlets were available (on night stand and desk). Fun welcome message on the t.v.! Beds comfortable. Doors heavy. All things considered, would definitely stay again.

I’ve stayed at this property twice. The first time I had to wait between 20 and 30 minutes to check in because the person upfront seem to have gone on a break that they weren’t allowed to as the front desk was left unattended. It was around 10 PM at night. But the room was nice so I thought it was a one time fluke and booked there again this September. My check in process was better this time. However, my room had bedbugs (I have multiple videos of live ones and the exoskeletons in the mattress) and it took me a bit to figure that out, so I had already been in the room for a while and had started unpacking by the time I figured it out. I went downstairs told the attendance she apologized and moved me to different room. However, I was unhappy that not only the situation happened but no compensation or partial refund was offered. My belongings were exposed, and I had to take precautions as besides not wanting to bring them back to my home, I was traveling the entire week and didn’t wanna bring anything anywhere else. Also I would think a partial refund would be justified simply from the issue of not being able to stay in the room I paid for, the rather unpleasant an experience, and having to move rooms that late at night. I will say the attendant was very helpful and the rooms were spacious and modern.

Spotless and excellent breakfast

Across the street from the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds. Extremely convenient and easily accessible. Only complaint is that the couch in our room was stained and worn.

The only complaint was the bathroom sliding door. It was heavy and hard to open and close.

The room still has a bit of an old feel to it. Needs a microwave as well as a refrigerator. The door was quite difficult to open.

The air conditioner in my room needs to be looked at. It was so loud.....sounded like a small engine running each time it kicked in.

It was a basic hotel. The breakfast was lovely, but I was sad that there was no hot tub. I should have checked that before booking. Our bathroom door was a slide barn door with a sizeable gap. No blackout curtains. The shade leaves gaps on the sides. It was a place to sleep. The staff was informative at check in.

My tv didn't work, other than that everything was good

We were in town for brewer game. The air-conditioning/heating unit at window was very noisy. Sleep was difficult.

For the most part, the stay was pleasant. However, not having a working television and having to contact the front desk three times to get any assistance with troubleshooting the problem is quite frustrating.

We didn't need the air conditioning. It was very hard to keep the fan off.

The front desk employees were ALL VERY nice and helpful. So refreshing compared to the last hotel I stayed at. The hotel was surprisingly quiet as well. Would stay there again!

I thought the hotel was very nice. The breakfast was a nice bonus also. The staff could be a bit more pleasant. My check in person never made eye contact or even responded to my comments. She was like a robot when telling me about the property. Very unfriendly!

We arrived early on state fair week, hoping to just leave our vehicle, and we were promptly checked in. Staff was friendly, and our rooms were exceptional. Upon returning after our show at 11:20, grabbing snacks in the lobby, the staff was again super prompt and friendly. Will 100% be returning.

We had to cancel the day of our stay. I worked with hotels.com support and the front desk at the property who agreed to refund me as an exception. Hotels.com needed the information from the front desk person that authorized the refund. When I attempted to call the property back to obtain this information they would no longer pick up the phone. I attempted to contact them via email as well and it's been over a week with no response.

Extremely disappointed. We were in town for a wedding so prior to arrival I attempted to call the property to see if there is any possibilities of early check-in immediately from the start I was treated as a burden, even though I was asking for a simple possibility not demanding one. As a previous front desk agent for a chain hotel. I understood early check-in's depended on the previous night. When me and my husband arrive to the property, we are greeted by a rude and passive agent, who clearly hates being there. Early check-in was not possible, which I understood but the agent didn't offer to place us on a waiting list so as soon as the room was available, we were able to check in since we were on sensitive time because of a wedding. The agent also did not allow my husband to use the gym facilities because he technically wasn't a guest yet it (even tho we had reservations for that night???) could just be Hiltons policies, but I I don't remember ever treating people this way when I worked as a front desk agent. The night agent was sweet he smiled and acknowledged us. prior to check out me and my husband joked that the mean agent was going to be at the front again and he didn't disappoint we pass by and let the agent know our room number and we're checking out and again didn't even bother to look up at us :)

There was a party going on, and the loud music and stomping from the party upstairs lasted all night. I couldn't get any sleep until 4 AM. This was the worst experience I ever had at a hotel, and I rented two rooms. My son and I hated the hotel experience at Hampton. The female who checked us in had a nasty attitude and was dismissive of any questions we asked her. My sheets were dirty in my room.

Room was clean and Paco at the front desk, that guy was Amazing. One of the better breakfasts as well.

Arrived at 4pm and could not get into my room till after 5:30’pm which was a huge inconvenience. The poor lady at front desk had to actually leave the front desk to go help clean rooms. Front desk lady was very kind but the lack of planning on hotels part was a large issue.

Great hotel. Clean, updated, excellent location close to downtown but with free, convenient parking. They also were able to accommodate a special room request. Would definitely come back!

6 minutes from ballpark. Clean. Felt safe. Stayed alone 3 dyas with no problems. Amazing breakfast each day. Friendly workers. Nice shower with good pressure. Love the soaps/lotions/shampoo/conditioner. Comfortable bed - chair in room to lounge. Only issue was the parking lot - if you go down a row & theres no spots you have to bavk up out of that row - McDonald's is next door so you cant thru the parking lot. It's well lit just hard if you dont find a spot in the row you went down.

The restaurant at the Hotel "Bar West" was hands down incredible. Food was delicous and perfect. Was not expecting THAT high of quality at a Hotel Restaurant. Would go back just for the food!
