Had a pleasant experience staying at Home2Suites Forest Park in late October. The staff and management were very nice, approachable, and accommodating. I'm a person that experiences allergies and uses a wheelchair device so I had some requests during the stay and everyone working there who I interacted with were very understanding and helpful. The free shuttle transportation they offer around the Forest Park area was also convenient and the drivers were friendly. I can honestly say this is one of the top hotels I've ever stayed at anywhere and the service from the staff members and manager was top notch. I will definitely stay here again for any future visits to St. Louis.

The size of the suite we had was great, and I loved the location - very neighborhoody feel. There's a fun park a block away if you are bringing kids (and a smoothie shop!). But the pool was terrible - tiny, very cold, and dirty. We barely went in once. Super disappointing as that was the main reason for us booking this hotel. Also our room wasn't very clean - there was dog fur all over the couch and floor. The staff here are very kind and try to be helpful, but the hotel overall could use some upgrading.

Overall the property is very nice! Walkable to Forest Park. Immediate area didn't seem the safest but the parking lot was fenced and they had a shuttle to go out so you didn't need to walk. Great breakfast and very friendly staff!

Our stay was great. We stayed at the same hotel, same location, on the way to, and from our destination. Our only complaint is the elevators were not working. They were being repaired on our first stay and stopped working on our second stay.

The property was just as expected. It was clean and the area felt safe. It was nice to have free parking onsite. The pool was a salt water pool as others stated and wasn’t the warmest but the kids didn’t mind. The breakfast was great. Every staff member we encountered was extremely nice, helpful, and caring.

Overall the stay was good, the pool was extremely cold though like it is unheated. We ended up only using the pool once because of how cold it was. That is disappointing because it is my son's favorite part about staying in a hotel.

Roaches! The room looked pretty clean when we checked in. But when I got up at 2am to use the restroom and get a drink, I saw roaches scurry when I turned on the light. I was not able to get back to sleep. I noticed the breakfast bar was in need of some deep cleaning, and the women's restroom in the lobby was in dire need of cleaning that morning as well. The kids did enjoy the pool. The hotel appears to be very pet friendly. Lots of people going in and out for smoke breaks. It was a Monday night, so it was fairly quiet, though busy. The front desk staff were polite, maybe a little brusque at times, but it didn't bother me.

Shower and bed both had hair in them, popcorn in sheets, sheets crumpled and appeared dirty and as if the bed was just made to be tidy without clean linens, mattress covers w multiple stains, dirty tissues and popcorn on the floor as well. Staff offered to comp part of stay but was so turned off we were ready to leave. Upon exiting, the elevator smelled like a dispensary and the front desk staff were across the street smoking and being obnoxious.

We were greeted by super friendly staff when we arrived to the hotel. It was easy to find and a good place for us to have as a home base while we were in St. Louis. Front desk staff let us know about different points of interest in the city, and even though we didn't take advantage of it, it was really nice that they offered a shuttle to different areas. The pool was my kids' favorite part. I think a lot of people were using the pool throughout the day because when we went both evenings, it was hard to get any towels. Overall, the stay was good, except on the second day we started to find cockroaches in our room. They were coming from the bathroom. I'm not sure if this is an issue with just that particular room or an indication of a bigger issue at the hotel, but that was unsettling and we were happy to be checking out. The staff gets a full five stars, the hotel itself/cleanliness...not so much.

Hotel check in was not ready by 3 pm, upon entering the room after waiting an hour past check in, the room was still dirty. Crumbs all over counters & floors, other peoples food in fridge, bathroom toilet was dirty & there was blood/bodily fluids all over the head board.

My family and I generally stay at home2 hotels when we travel. Before starting, I would like to say that anything I brought up to the staff was acknowledged and rectified immediately. When unpacking into the room it was found that one of the cabinets with pillows was not touched by housekeeping, as it had some used pillows along with a clothing item from the last guest. A few things were also noticed during the stay: a couple ants were found in the bathroom, the insides of the clothing drawers had hair and the utensil holder had debris and was stained. The sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom had to stay open, otherwise it would get stuck in the closed position. Finally, the bed was so bad. The springs on the bed were extremely noisy with any movement at all and it was very uncomfortable.

I stayed at this hotel for a week and unfortunately had several disappointing experiences. One of the drawers in my room kept sliding open on its own and stayed half-open no matter what I did. I reported it multiple times, but nothing was ever fixed. In the end, I had to secure it myself using a hospital-grade 3M bandage tape just to keep it shut. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. One night they didn’t replace any towels—just removed the dirty ones and left me without clean ones. I had to use a small hand towel after showering. Bathroom supplies weren’t refilled, and I even found my clean clothes placed on the floor. To make things worse, they left their cleaning cloth and spray bottle on the table. Overall, the cleaning felt only partially done, and basic maintenance and service standards were not met. It’s disappointing, because with a bit more attention and care, my stay could have been much better.

We chose this property to accommodate bedding for 2 adults & 4 grandkids and our destination to Union Station and City Museum. While this was a great choice for that purpose, had friendly staff and good breakfast, we were very disappointed in the cleanliness of our room as it was very poorly cleaned. The bedding was stained, appliances smeared, walls splashed and dirty. I would not stay here again due to uncleanliness of the room.

Customer service was overall very poor. The only USB port in the room didn’t work so I had no way to charge my phone. There seemed to be no way to change the volume of the TV. The walls are paper thin

I had this reservation made last minute and this hotel met our expectations. The shower pressure was great, and I wish the beds were comfy. On the beds you could feel the springs in the mattress. It was a good stay, and I appreciate this hotel being available due to our hotel originally booked was without hot water.

My family of 5 enjoyed our stay here. Our room had two queen beds and a couch that I believe was a pullout bed. There was a room darkening curtain that was able to be drawn between the bed area and the sitting area which was very nice for putting the kids to bed and the adults being able to stay up and hang out. The window itself had a wonderful blackout shade that kept out all light which was also helpful. Everything was clean. The breakfast was a typical hotel continental breakfast and was good. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. Good central location. I’d definitely stay here again.

When we arrived we quickly realized that one of our beds were broken. We went to the front desk to see what could be done, even though they were almost completely booked-they were happy to switch things around and get us into new rooms next to each other since they didn’t have another room the size we needed.

Somehow my room assignment got messed up and someone ended up coming into my room at 1am. Which scared me and caused me so much anxiety the rest of the trip. I called the front desk to see what was going on and the guy hung up on me after putting me on hold. Went to front desk and he basically just laughed at my situation and was sarcastic the entire interaction. I called it a night and went back to bed. Thankfully the next morning another employee got it all fixed and was super nice. She apologized for the mix up and was very kind.

My flight was rerouted in the middle of the night because of weather, and the hotel counted me as a no-show, sold my room, and then still charged me for a night! Even when expedia reached out on my behalf, the hotel would not relent on the charge. I would not EVER recommend a stay at this hotel.

First on check in I was told they had over booked, and they wanted me to take a different room however with children traveling with us that was not going to work. The room we were given was noisy and right by the kitchen area. So it was loud, and the staff was very noisy very early. The refrigerator in our room was making a squealing noise, Maintenace replaced it with another one but it was an incontinence. Some of the people working there in the breakfast area were not very friendly and the area was dirty.

Overall, I was quite satisfied with the experience, although there were a few aspects that fell short of perfection. Firstly, I would like to commend the majority of your staff, as they were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Furthermore, I appreciated the promptness with which a mistake was rectified by your team. It demonstrated a high level of efficiency and professionalism. In terms of the accommodations, I was pleased with the spaciousness of the room. It provided ample comfort and convenience. Additionally, the breakfast options offered were enjoyable and met my expectations. However, I did encounter a minor issue during my stay. When we requested additional towels from a member of the room/cleaning service staff in the hallway, we were informed that she was not assigned to our particular room and therefore denied the request. It would have been more convenient if all staff members were able to assist guests with such simple requests. Lastly, I feel compelled to mention that there was a noticeable odor of marijuana in the hallway on a few occasions. While I understand that this is beyond the hotel's control, it did affect the overall ambiance and perception of cleanliness.

Such a well placed hotel to easily get into downtown St Louis but right by Forest Park with its wonderful museums and open space. Walkable to the Metro as well and close to a lot of independent places to eat.

Great location. It’s close to Barnes Hospital and to St. Louis University, where my granddaughter is in school. The room was spotless. The front desk people very friendly. Television reception was good. Parking on the property, which can be very important and a big city.

Overall we had a very nice stay, though I was very disappointed with the continental breakfast. They did not have enough breakfast food to serve all of the guests and staff was short with guests who inquired about if more would be served. Most of the food was gone by 8am.

The only negative thing about our stay was breakfast Monday morning. I believe I heard that they were short staffed, so tried to offer some grace. There were numerous food options that were empty, as well as no plates upon arrival. I got cereal for my nephew, but there were no spoons. The waffle batter was full, but not dispensing. There were several things like this. The day before we had a great breakfast experience, but Monday was definitely frustrating.
