Check in process poor. No rooms ready at 145pm?? Had to wait. Specifically asked for a view. Got to look at the wall of the lift well! Fixed when complained but shouldn't have happened. Otherwise facility particularly pool was excellent.

Property was close to everything that I needed after a long drive from Brisbane. Parking without additional cost was good. Room was clean and tidy and appreciated the upgrade offer to a king room.

Excellent apartment, everything you need! Nice pool and alfresco area. Unfortunately you do need a car if you’re going to get around Darwin itself as it’s too far out of the city centre for many of the major attractions and markets without.

We chose Palmerston area rather than Darwin itself for convenience to where we needed to be. Also it was much more reasonably priced and the reviews of Darwin city hotels were generally pretty low whereas Rydges had rave reviews. We can see why. We have stayed in many hotels both in Oz and overseas and Rydges Palmerston was right up there with the best. Everything was spotless and each detail meticulously cared for. It’s worth visiting for the amazing indigenous artwork on all walls alone. The pool was clear and surrounds relaxing so you could have a drink or a meal from the bar while under the shaded areas as we did. Madame Za had exceptional food and reasonably priced. The salt and pepper croc with lime aoli was delicious and also loved the barramundi curry. Pictured. Free secure parking was a big bonus as well as free newspapers in foyer and Fox tv. The gym was well equipped and clean. Coles and coffee club over the road at Oasis shopping centre if you want cheaper options for breakfast We noticed full laundry facilities available with washers and dryers though we didn’t need to use them. The only negative is we saw no attempt to encourage guests to save water and the environment by reusing towels, recycling anything. Even though I twice put notes myself to not replace towels, it was still done each day for the 5 days we were there. A complete waste. However We would definitely stay here next time we come to Darwin.

Fantastic hotel with a great service and facilities. The gym is above all expectations. The restaurant has reasonable prices and excellent steaks. Also, you stand a good chance that you will be checked in by a famous tennis player…

Overall experience was good and the facilities were nice enough, restaurant and bar had great options. The only downside was that the room had a cigarette smoke smell on arrival, despite being a non-smoking room. The manager offered to spray with a fabric spray which helped a little.

Nice hotel, would stay again. Check in and checkout fast and efficient. Good parking for those requiring pick up. Room was large and well appointed, fittings in wardrobe and tea making facilities a little bit dated. Bathroom clean however shower recess could do with a spruce up but acceptable. Overall good value and a nice place to stay.

Gute Lage, wenn man einen Mietwagen hat. Man ist in ca. 20min in Darwin Waterfront, 15min am Airport, gleichzeitig kann man nach Süden schnell Richtung Nationalparks. Hotel sauber und ordentlich. Frühstücksbüffet lohnt sich, ca 15€ pro Tag und Nase.

Have stayed here a few times and the rooms are always clean, quiet and dark - great blinds. Stayed at another hotel nearby and wow. Was surprised at hearing every single noise someone made. Not the case here. Highly recommend for a quick night stopover.

Expensive breakfast but well worth it for good range & choice. Technology could do with some updating; no USB points for charging in rooms [and no spares available from reception]. They don't have any scissors in reception either. Watch the cleaning staff: they may only replace one towel each day in room for 2 pp.

Very clean room! Modern amenities, local eating options, close to shops and highways and fast WiFi. Will definitely be staying here again for my next business trip. Didn't get much of a chance to check out the pool or the bar / restaurant, but from what I saw, it all looked very inviting and cosy.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment and it was clean and had everything we needed. Great black-out curtains and good air-con. There was a balcony with a view out towards the road and shops. A good fridge, hotplates, oven, and microwave. Shower over bath but great water pressure. We ate at the restaurant on our first night and it was a very good meal. Breakfast was a bit ordinary so we did our own thing after the first day. The staff were good and parking underneath was easy. We stayed out of Darwin so we'd be more accessible to Litchfield National Park.

We were disappointed in the rooms view, a concrete wall 5 meters away. Thought you could have done better considering this was our 5th visit to your motel. Its the only bad thing I’ve had with your business to date.

A 300 dollar deposit even with a credit card is out there the room paid up front any other place is a 1 dollar holding deposit , was told would be back in account soon as I checked out . Well 4 days latter and still waiting reception was rude and short once again very nice place to stay shame about the reception staff

As soon as you walk in the staff freak you with the big smile love the distro meals were great didn’t go into pool. I just looked at it because it was pretty windy out there but now other than that it was very very nice place to stay I definitely do it again Thanks a lot.

Brand new hotel conveniently positioned near Stuart Highway (good if you're about to head out to Kakadu, Litchfield, etc.). The staff member met us late at night, and was so helpful - the check-in process was very smooth. Highly recommend.

Our family loves staying here when we come in from out of town. It is quick and easy to check in, the rooms are clean and spacious and location is ideal in terms of shopping and eating places. Highly recommended!

Palmerston is WAY overpriced due to the gas plant, especially given it's location near nothing substantial, but there was no faulting the accommodation and the staff. Beautifully clean and friendly professional people, worth it to not have to drive the 30-40 minutes back and forth from town every day after visiting family with 4 kids asking, "are we there yet?" :)

Fantastic hotel!! Very comfortable and clean, it’s a great spot if you’re wanting to explore the NT and not just Darwin, we did day trips to Litchfield and Adelaide River. Great restaurant for dinner and we had lovely drinks by the pool. We had planned to stay at a different hotel for our second weekend in Darwin after travelling to Kakadu, but we loved it so much we booked to go back here instead. Thank you!
