Don't tell was having some all around issues with Heating and Plumbing.. our room was upgraded to bigger and better accommodations.. there was some little snafus, but Holly was right on top of everything! We have beautiful views of the ocean a very spacious upstairs sweet with the kitchen and a bathroom that had a Jacuzzi! It was absolutely beautiful the service was amazing the breakfast were amazing! The only thing I was disappointed about was that I didn't get a chance to sample some of their Block Island Barnacle cookies

I just stayed at the Blue Dory on Friday July 11th. I cant wait to stay again. My room was on the 3rd fl which I didn't mind. There is a fire door at the top of the stairs that swings all the way open and my adorable room was at the end of the hallway. The room was so clean, bathroom was perfect and included a jetted tub. The lotion and hand soap they use smells amazing. There is lovely scent throughout the house. My bed was very comfortable the host was so easy to communicate with and so friendly. They also offer breakfast and wine and cheese appetizer hour. The breakfast was located in the basement and they had everything you could think of. Excellent stay and will definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed recently and loved the inn. Our check was easy, the staff communicated via text to let us know our room was ready. We arrived via the Ferry therefore no parking issues but walking the properly we could see there was plenty of space to park. We enjoyed the wine and cheese. It was a nice way to meet the other guests. We spent time at Captain Nicks just steps from the Inn as well as the Yellow Kittens and McAloons( Irish Pub). We did not have breakfast at the inn as we were out for a walk. We will definitely stay at the Blue Dory again. We highly recommend if you are visiting Block Island.

Room was so small, my husband couldn’t stand up on one side because he would have hit his head. Had to stand on bed to get my ocean view from window! Outside back patio had such a strong stench couldn’t even sit outside for a drink if you wanted to! No bacon, sausage or any kind of meat for breakfast as advertised! Cold pancakes and three empty crockpots!! Couldn’t even change towels after five hours of sign being out to due room! Would never stay there again.

Blue Dory Inn was in a great location, walkable, not far from the ferry. Ocean views from the property were great! Cute shops and some nice restaurants nearby. Nice front porch to sit outside and beach chairs to take to the beach behind the house. Holly was an excellent host. Afternoon social was very nice-with cheeses, crackers and lemonade for the non-wine drinkers. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean. The breakfast was quite good, with a nice selection of breakfast food choices, scrambled eggs with spinach and fresh fruits and breads, juice, coffee and teas.

I loved this Inn. Our room was bright, comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They had a good free hot breakfast with great coffee. I really liked the location. Walking distance to the ferry and shopping and dining out the front door. Out the back door was access to the beach. The Inn provides beach towels and chairs. The yard is a beautiful flower garden with bistro table and chairs to sit in. It is a very nice place to stay and I hope to return someday.

Room was very clean! Breakfast was delicious with the exception of the coffee. Staff were wonderful and the staff kitty was adorable. Place could use some updates such as an adapter to plug a cellphone in and a place to put suitcases however the location and staff made up for these.

The place was nice but dated. Noisy window air conditioner in a dated room, that doesn't cut it at 600 plus a night. The staff was nice and the caretakers were not really into to their jobs. I think that they couldn't wait to get off the island at the end of the summer.

I would like to start by saying as soon as you walk in the place it smelt so amazing. The staff/owner Ann was at the door to greet us and give us a tour. The kitty Simon was very welcoming as well. Ann was so nice that she even gave me a gift as it was my 1 yr anniversary as well as engagement. The food was fresh and made with love. I would highly recommend to anyone that likes a nice, cozy and peaceful place to stay.

Blue Dory was awesome! From communication to customer service - we had such a great time. We were able to store our bags way earlier than check in and check out to match our ferry schedule. The happy hour at 5, yummy breakfast, use of beach chairs and towels were so appreciated and fabulous. Our room was gorgeous! The Blue Dory was within walking distance with our roller luggage from the ferry, and close to shopping, restaurants and our moped rental. There are plenty of taxis if you want to explore the island, but we rented mopeds for 24 hours and really explored- all except for dirt roads where you can park and walk. Great getaway!

Don't tell was having some all around issues with Heating and Plumbing.. our room was upgraded to bigger and better accommodations.. there was some little snafus, but Holly was right on top of everything! We have beautiful views of the ocean a very spacious upstairs sweet with the kitchen and a bathroom that had a Jacuzzi! It was absolutely beautiful the service was amazing the breakfast were amazing! The only thing I was disappointed about was that I didn't get a chance to sample some of their Block Island Barnacle cookies

My husband and I stayed recently and loved the inn. Our check was easy, the staff communicated via text to let us know our room was ready. We arrived via the Ferry therefore no parking issues but walking the properly we could see there was plenty of space to park. We enjoyed the wine and cheese. It was a nice way to meet the other guests. We spent time at Captain Nicks just steps from the Inn as well as the Yellow Kittens and McAloons( Irish Pub). We did not have breakfast at the inn as we were out for a walk. We will definitely stay at the Blue Dory again. We highly recommend if you are visiting Block Island.

The place was nice but dated. Noisy window air conditioner in a dated room, that doesn't cut it at 600 plus a night. The staff was nice and the caretakers were not really into to their jobs. I think that they couldn't wait to get off the island at the end of the summer.

Room was so small, my husband couldn’t stand up on one side because he would have hit his head. Had to stand on bed to get my ocean view from window! Outside back patio had such a strong stench couldn’t even sit outside for a drink if you wanted to! No bacon, sausage or any kind of meat for breakfast as advertised! Cold pancakes and three empty crockpots!! Couldn’t even change towels after five hours of sign being out to due room! Would never stay there again.

I loved this Inn. Our room was bright, comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They had a good free hot breakfast with great coffee. I really liked the location. Walking distance to the ferry and shopping and dining out the front door. Out the back door was access to the beach. The Inn provides beach towels and chairs. The yard is a beautiful flower garden with bistro table and chairs to sit in. It is a very nice place to stay and I hope to return someday.

I just stayed at the Blue Dory on Friday July 11th. I cant wait to stay again. My room was on the 3rd fl which I didn't mind. There is a fire door at the top of the stairs that swings all the way open and my adorable room was at the end of the hallway. The room was so clean, bathroom was perfect and included a jetted tub. The lotion and hand soap they use smells amazing. There is lovely scent throughout the house. My bed was very comfortable the host was so easy to communicate with and so friendly. They also offer breakfast and wine and cheese appetizer hour. The breakfast was located in the basement and they had everything you could think of. Excellent stay and will definitely be back.

Room was very clean! Breakfast was delicious with the exception of the coffee. Staff were wonderful and the staff kitty was adorable. Place could use some updates such as an adapter to plug a cellphone in and a place to put suitcases however the location and staff made up for these.
