Streamside on Fall River

Nice location right by a river and near the Fall River entrance to RMNP. Loved the hammock. Hot tub was nice. Cabins are a little dated, but had all of the amenities we needed. We would stay there again.

This place is a gem. The inside of our cabin was like new. Full kitchen with new appliances. Two small vanities, nice shower. Bed is comfy, door in bedroom opens onto the deck. Nice BBQ & table/chairs. Wrap around deck with several other chairs. Plenty of space inside. Living room & bedroom have large flatscreens. Electric fireplace in both rooms. So clean & comfy. Grounds are pretty, nice bridge that goes across stream. Only 3 miles from Alpine Rocky Mtn park entrance. Max the manager is very nice. Hope to get back next year.

Check in was smooth and easy. Gentleman greeted us was friendly. The cabin we stayed in was the two bedroom with private hot tub. The place was updated and clean. There was a restaurant in walking distance. Will stay there again!

Property is in a fantastic location just down from RMNP. The cabin was very nice and well maintained. Parking is assigned and just steps away from the cabin. Full kitchen with all plates, utensils, etc. The housekeeping team does a fantastic job and the grounds keeper went above and beyond to bring us extra coffee pods. The only negative I can think of... The bedroom with the king size bed had only one overhead light with the switch by the door. When I got up in the nighttime, I had to use the flashlight on my phone. Overall, I really like Streamside. I will definitely be returning when I can.

Great family-friendly cabin with a private hot-tub, kitchen, well-stocked towels by a fireplace, and more! We had a wonderful, comfortable stay!

The property was clean, quiet, and the hammock next to the river was very calming. The unit was efficient, clean and the deck with jacuzzi was nice. When checking in, we were told there was no trash or linen services due to COVID protocol - is that still a thing? We were told if we needed anything to call. We were also informed that due to wildlife to not put trash outside unless between 8 a.m. and noon. We were up early every day to go into RMNP and gone all day. Thus, we had to keep our trash in our units all 5 nights we stayed on property. We lived with having to walk over trash the last couple of days "due to COVID protocol". All of our trash was bagged and left on the kitchen floor upon leaving. They charged me an additional fee for excessive trash. After reminding them that I had no in home services "due to COVID" and we were gone every day prior to 8 a.m. I asked them to refund the $200. They refused saying all I had to do was call. The trash over 5 days would have been the same had I called them every evening when I returned or if they collected it all after we checked out. Needless to say they refused to refund the added fee. So beware, when you stay you will not receive daily services to empty trash or make your beds and then when after walking our accumulated trash for 5 days due to no services, they will charge you extra to take it all at once. Ruined the experience of a lovely place!

I liked that the cabin was right next to the river. The cabin had a private hot tub that was relaxing to soak in under the starry night sky. The gas grill was a nice addition to the deck to grill food on. They're was plenty of chairs and tables around to sit . They have a horseshoe game there to play. They're was lots of wildlife animals near by. I would definitely like to go back and stay there again! Awesome hospitality! Thank you!

We had a great stay in the 2 bedroom cabin. The views were amazing and the hot tub was the perfect end to hiking every day. We even got to watch an elk sleep right across the stream from our hot tub!! They have chairs out by the stream so sitting out and enjoying that every morning was magical!

This was an incredible find , peaceful and great view of a little stream and waterfall , the deck and hot tub overlooked it ! What a peaceful place to stay !!!

If you want a cabin in the woods but don’t want full rustic, this place is for you. Very comfortable bed, bedding, pillows. Very clean. Landscaping was beautiful. Orientation of cabins feels private. Front porch had table, 3 chairs, and grill. Very nice to have comfortable couch at the end of the bed. Small kitchen table and chairs. Great restaurant within walking distance with a sidewalk to connect the two. Would highly recommend.

Internet was stable and strong, didn't test the speed. Room was clean and well equipped. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall very satisfied.

The tv was messed up which was really annoying, even though we followed the instructions exactly. They expect you to wash your dishes even though that’s part of what you’re paying for is cleaning services. The hot tub was nice and hot but had some small things floating in the water. The bedrooms were small. It was a beautiful location and comfortable mattresses and nice and clean place to sleep. Can see river and Elk from balcony

Very nice property everything was exceptional. Grounds and units clean and had everything you need for your stay. Close to downtown where there are many great food choices and shopping. Also just minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park

Unit was nicely renovated and spacious. Bed was very comfortable too. Upon entering and throughout the stay there was a very strong cleaner smell. It smelled like Pine Sol. Opening windows didn’t help. Located well for a short drive to a trailhead.

Our deck was covered in ice when we arrived. We had no instructions on how to operate the TV and the office was closed at 4:30pm even though they said they would be open until 5pm. Someone did come and help us figure out the TV. The couch was so small and very uncomfortable, the recliner and dining table was very outdated and showed lost of wear. The king size bed was hard and took up some much room that there was no room for a bedside table on either side of the bed. The blinds throughout the cabin were some sort of Asian decor. Didn’t work for what is supposed to be a mountain cabin. The TVs were hung so high that you had to crank your neck up to watch. The cable boxes on both TVs just hung from the TV and wouldn’t stay in place with the Velcro they tried to use as a solution. There was a fireplace but it wasn’t usable due to fire restrictions, but it stated on the fireplace that it wasn’t a heat source so we were confused why it wouldn’t work. The ceilings fans in the living room and bedroom were absolutely filthy with thick dust covering all blades. We’ve stayed at this property before several years ago and we had zero issues or complaints which is why we booked this property again. We were very disappointed.

Love the location, so beautiful. Didn't like the fact that with all the windows and doors open and every fan on, Max, it remained 83 degrees in the place. We did not sleep well.

Really disappointed in my stay here. We were put in a first floor unit that was had thin walls and we were woken in the morning by the upstairs people. Very overpriced property.

The bed was great but the fold out sofa bed was very small so hard for 2 adults to sleep there

Regarding the room, it was extremely hot. We assumed there would be an air conditioner and it's very disappointing that there was not. We came in July. We we're very uncomfortable the entire time because it was over 85° in the room. Even after opening the windows. You can buy a small minisplit a/c unit for less than $1000. This would make a lot of sense if you want the guests to enjoy their stay. We will not come here again.

Our cabin (#5) was a pseudo up-scale cabin with several nice things, but overall not that great. No A/C. Large TV. Badly worn dining chairs. A window that did not stay open (and fell on my finger). Visible dust on ceiling fan blades. Intermittent internet service (for my phone service). Gas fireplace with small full time flame - pilot light - that contributed unwanted warmth to the bedroom. Skylights, one of which reflected in the primary (larger of two) TV. Lots of room for empty luggage and various other items, except in the bathrooms. Weird electronic toilet.

The place is in secluded setting away from town but not far, which is nice. The cabin was clean and cozy, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. When I mentioned it to the front office upon checking out, I was told it is not going to be same comfort as at home. I get it, I travel often to many different kinds of hotels. Typically, you get some sleep and some places cheaper or luxurious are close to home comfort. They have nice grill outside and nice touches inside but regardless how cozy the room is, uncomfortable bed will really make a big impact on the experience. I got a decent rate but wouldn’t book this at peak season. In addition, the cabin is connected to another unit and I could hear everything. I also think I read front office was open until 8 pm and it is only til 5 so glad I checked in before they close, as I was running late. The front desk had an attendant but also a machine with screen that had a person asking fir id. How weird to have a person attending and still have a robot assistant.

Everything was super cute and everything was clean. Only reason it was a 4 and not a 5 is that the pull out sofa bed was only a twin and I had to sleep on the floor with two couch cushions.

The check-in ruined my evening. We arrived with another couple and the man at the counter insisted about 5 times that the checkin problems were my fault because I booked our rooms through Expedia. After about 15 minutes he finally figured out a couple of rooms for us and sent us to our rooms, never apologizing for the delay. We got to our rooms and my husband and I carried in our stuff. That’s when the checkin man came back and said he gave us the wrong rooms because (AGAIN) it was my fault. At that point I had had it and asked him why he kept saying his problems were my fault. He said because I had booked through Expedia and they were probably in a foreign country… what? Then he said we had to move and I stated that we had already brought our stuff into the room. It was just a statement, no profanity, no name calling, nothing that should have then provoked him to tell me that if I gave him any problems he would kick me off the property. He gave us our new room keys and we transferred our stuff. Not once did he apologize for his rude behavior or for the inconvenience or for his inability to check us in in a reasonable and respectful manner. He was all smiles and sunshine at the time of checkout, but the damage was done and unfortunately, we will not be back. However, the resort was great! We enjoyed the rest of the time there. It was beautiful and the room was exceptionally clean! Kudos to the rest of your staff!

Check in times were not accurate, website says 3 until 8pm and it’s really 5pm the office closes. It’s a very dark driveway, walkway and staircase to navigate (we were in a top cabin). Beautiful location on the river. Cabin itself wasn’t bad, but could not sleep at all on the solid square hard foam pillows. Left by 6:am.

The check-in was the only complaint for this stay. The man at the desk couldn’t figure out how to check my husband and I in for 2 nights in the same room and he kept insisting (about 5 times) it was my fault because I booked through Expedia rather than calling the resort directly. He finally figured something out and gave us a key. We brought our things into the room and then the man came to our room and said we couldn’t stay in that particular room and AGAIN said it was my fault for booking through Expedia. When I questioned why it was my fault, he said because the operators are probably based in another country. ??? Then he said again that we couldn’t stay in the room and I stated we had already put our stuff in the room. It was just a statement - no profanity, nonthreatening - just a statement. He then threatened to terminate our stay if I gave him any more problems. ??? Unfortunately, he was also the person who checked us out and he had a pleasant attitude, but still no apologies. Too little, too late; I handed in the key and left. The resort is really nice. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, although the fireplaces in the rooms cannot be used per fire codes.

Horrible people. They were disrespectful and condescending when we ran out of toilet paper. They only gave us 1/2 a roll for our trip and no extra. They told me I need to go find housekeeping and ask them for some WHILE I WAS USING THE BATHROOM. (I was messaging them). From all the reviews I’ve read, people like the property until they need something. Everyone who works there is rude. There are many better places to stay at in Estes Park where you will be treated like a guest and not a like a child. Do yourself a favor and don’t support a dreadful small business that doesn’t care about its guests.

Streamside is awesome! Matt was so incredibly nice and helped us with great suggestions on things to do! The cabin was so clean and beautiful. Lots of widlife sightings too! We plan on using this property again on our future visits!

We have stayed here a couple of times. It’s great. Unfortunately the owner tried to sell off our booking before we arrived, in spite of our booking being pay on arrival. They don’t have consistent booking policy. Other than that, it is a great location and great for families.

We had a great experience! Clean property, assigned and convenient parking right at your cabin, quiet property close to everything but not right in the mess of it. Very relaxing time! They were also flexible with our late checkout request which was much appreciated. I wish we had time to stay longer.

Great Location to RMNP and Estes park. Right on River. Saw mule deer and turkeys everyday. Saw elk everyday in town. Friendly staff.

I loved that this property was off the beaten path just enough to feel private but also very accessible to shopping and other attractions. It was clean, quiet and the views were beautiful. We were visited by elk and turkeys several times.

We loved the location! It’s right on the Fall River. It was so relaxing sitting outside listening to the water. One morning, we had several elk come visit right outside our cabin! The property is very close to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park! We will definitely stay there again!

We loved having a big bull elk make a visit right outside our door! You don’t see that every day! We liked the nice stream where we could sit and relax next to it. It was great being so close to the park.

This is a quaint property in a great location in Estes and close to RMSP. Our cabin was cozy and comfortable with everything we needed for our three-night stay. It’s a bit outdated but the owner said they’re in the process of renovating all the cabins. We’d definitely stay again.

The location was great for RMNP entry and close to town. The staff was very helpful. The property is a little dated but comfortable and but they are starting renovations. It is quiet and comfortable. Nice outdoor patio.

Got great recommendations for breakfast (Notchtop) & dinner (Hunters) , both were amazing ! Room was clean & comfortable. The elk even came for an up close visit!! Would definitely would come back!!

We really enjoyed our visit. This place is in a great location just a couple miles away from Rocky Mountain NP and has cute little shops and eateries nearby. Place is a good size for a family of four with two children. Grill, outdoor patio, full kitchen and large bathroom.

We loved the coziness of it and the fireplace made a cold day warm. It was also close to things we wanted to do such as the Stanley and downtown. Not walkable, but certainly close enough. Very clean and all the things you have come to expect - coffee /cream, etc.The staff very friendly and we loved the wild turkeys roaming around
