Don’t let the negative RV comment scare you away. Our cabin was absolutely amazing for being in the middle of nowhere. It’s a little outdated, but I didn’t expect anything more. One of our burners on the stove didn’t work the first night they had someone come out with a new part the next day they were very attentive. It was very spacious. We had a dog and three adults, and there was plenty of room for everybody a nice TV a somewhat updated bathroom and the pool and hot tub at the hotel next-door that we were able to use was beautiful.

The amenities were great and the tent cabin was perfect after a long day of hiking! My only complaint was there was no cell service at the campground and to get WiFi you had to pay $10 per day. Otherwise, it was a good campsite not far from the National Park!

Excellent amenities; with a kitchenette. Easy check-in & checkout. Plenty of parking. Quiet. There is no wireless signal in the area and no wifi but it’s easy enough to purchase one for $9.99 per day. The A/C was loud and kept us awake but it got cooler so we just turned it off. It’s only a few miles to and from the El Portal entrance to Yosemite National Park.

Great location for visiting Yosemite. Our tent was clean, comfortable bed and spacious with a good fridge and ceiling fan. We had access to the pool at the adjoining property which was nice. There is also a microwave available for use in the office during office hours. Be aware that in summer temperatures are hot and during our stay reached over 100 degrees each day making the tent like an oven to return to each evening. The ladies shower was in need of repair as the tap only gave you either cold or boiling hot water and couldn’t be adjusted. Men’s amenities hood also do with some maintenance. The only water available to us was either in the amenities or one sink area as there was no tap near our tent. Take your own drinking water! Overall a good place to stay while visiting Yosemite.

We stayed in one of the jupe tents and it was perfect to explore Yosemite from. The backyard had two chairs, a cute table, a BBQ and a fire pit which was great to relax and cook dinner from. The inside had a super clean, comfortable bed with extra pillows and two folding chairs that could be moved to sit on the porch outside. The motel next door has an indoor and and outdoor pool and hot tub which is available and so rewarding after a day of hiking (or just driving around:-) All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay there and would stay there again.

Spent 3 nights at Indian Flats RV Park located right next to the Cedar Lodge in Incline California about 8 miles from the Yosemite entrance. Both places share a easy connection to walk between them without having to go down to the road. The pool is available for everyone, you just need to provide your own towel. There is a YARTS shuttle stop that will takevyoy into Yosemite for a small fee. I reserved the Comfort Cabin Mountainside for my stay and was absolutely suprised how good it was, better than the current hotel I'm now staying in here in San Jose. Yosemite was the reason for my visit, the 8 mile drive to the entrance is s treat in itself with beautiful views of the Merced River.

The glamping cabin at Indian Flats was a wonderful experience! The cabin was clean and smelled fresh, clearly cleaned thoroughly with bleach. It came fully equipped with a kitchen and private bathroom, making the stay very comfortable. Housekeeping provided excellent service — they even gave extra soap and shampoo and thoughtfully folded our clothes. Overall, everything was tidy and well-maintained. Highly recommended!

Horrible stay at this place. We had a « deluxe cabin » that does not include a shower or toilets. Everything was dirty and smelled bad. The shared bathroom and toilets are very dirty. I don’t recommend at all this place which is overpriced.

We were aware of some poor reviews- but I had spoke to a Manager by phone - assured that places had been renovated and cleaned. When we got there we did do a once look over of bathroom - it appeared newly renovated, shower newly tiled & clean. Kitchen was not as updated , few ants on floor. We took care of ants. We left our bags and went to dinner. When we got back, ready to settle in we turned back bedspread and little black bugs running everywhere!! There was a second bed and it was the same way. 8:30 pm after long day in the park we got our refund and left! DON'T GO TO THIS COTTAGE !

Cabin had newer appliances and a separate bedroom space. Needed a thorough cleaning, window blinds that you weren't reluctant to touch & general updating of furnishings. Looked like an O K space to park an R V overnight, but i wouldn't recommend the cabins.

We were beyond disappointed with the cabin. For reference, we love tent camping and were expecting to “rough it” a little with the cabin. The location to Yosemite was great, but the cabin itself was dirty (bed sheets were torn/really worn, cobwebs, bugs, gap around edges of door so no way of preventing bugs from entering), and the bed size was definitely double beds - not queen size as listed. The air unit was also incredibly loud - so I barely got any sleep all night. For the price we paid, this was NOT worth it… Breakfast at the nearby hotel was also extremely overpriced and not great…wish we would have just ate bfst at Yosemite (they have a few options). Cabins would be a great option if they could get a serious face-lift.

Very well placed accomodation just 30 mins drive from main sights in Yosemite. Just off main road but still quiet and peaceful. Attractive and unpretentious. Our cabin was clean and spacious and we could park right outside. Very easy going. We had an amazing few days in Yosemite and actually preferred staying just outside the park itself.

It was not clean at all. The fan was very noisy. The neighbors (campers) were very noisy too. There was no water/no shower in the cottage and the common showers were very dirty. The only positive thing is that it is close to Yosemite entrance (13 km).

I stayed in a Classic Cabin. Pros: Bedding was clean, kitchen and bath clean, new flooring and bathroom floor and shower, good shower, refrigerator worked well, microwave was sufficient. The staff was very nice, and the general campground safe and nice. The location is about 20 minutes to the Yosemite booth, which is very good if you can't get a reservation inside. Cons: Mattresses needs replacing badly (I had to put a folded up blanket under the mattress to support my back), the stove had two burners, the large one didn't work and the small only worked in one position on the dial so that was tricky. The cabin needed a good clean (baseboards, cobwebs in corner, grime on doors) probably because it is end of season.

Check in was quick. The cabin was very spacious and clean. We parked right infront of it. Cabin was a little warm though. The window ac did not cool enough but temperature did drop a bit throughout the night. The bed mattress was too soft and would sink in. We stayed 2 nights due to proximity of Yosemite park entrance, like a 30 min drive. Had a decent dinner at the hotel next door. Overall was a good stay.

Positive - the tent cabins were among the nicest I’ve seen. Negative - in addition to the sound of the raging Merced River, which was welcome, the tent cabin was built almost right over a babbling brook, which was very loud and whose complex sounds were amplified by the tent structure. On top of that, the cabin was right next to a loud AC on the adjacent building. This noise was amplified by the tent all night. Sleep was almost impossible. On top of this, the water tasted like swamp water with iodine. Yecchh.

No one was in the office for a period of time around 5 pm (or before) to about 5:40. Door was locked. Handwritten note said simply “at lunch.” I waited outside in the heat for over 20 minutes before I could check in. I was already very exhausted after a full day of travel. No apologies at all when she did finally show up. Three parties of guests were waiting on her to check in——waiting for her to finish her lunch. I don’t think the only person working the office at a hotel should be absent for this long during prime time for check in.

I was a little apprehensive about my stay based on the wide range of opinions on the property but I was pleasantly surprised. Check in was easy, the cabin was cute and well stocked. What we were missing they happily brought us. The indoor pool next door and pool table were an unexpected and glorious surprise. Is it a five star hotel? No. Is it a cute little cabin minutes from the park entrance where you can make a fire in the fire pit out front and relax and enjoy your family? A huge yes. I would totally stay here again.

We were not charged for pets and the pool was very good. We were puzzled to get keys: the office was closed (unlike the accomodation directions) and the message redirecting us to Cedar Lodge was unseen well even though it was not dark yet. Only occasionally local worker helped us to find the receptionist. The cofemaker was not in order as well as the hood and light over the stove. The worst thing spoiled our rest were insects have been biting us at midnights in beds and sofa: one of us found one bedbug brought to home after we come back. The picture is taken.

We had a nice stay however check in was a little inconvenient. The office was closed for the season and we had to check in at their sister property down the road, where the front desk staff found no record of us in the system and offered no other options but to speak to a manager. After about 20 minutes the manager arrived and was able to find our Expedia reservation in a different system and provided us with the key to the cabin we booked only to say it wasn’t the right one and then putting us up in a different one. We didn’t fight it as we had just driven 6 hours and wanted to get to Yosemite for a bit before sundown. Later realizing her mistake, she offered to give us the right key but we had already unloaded our things and we’re on our way to the park. I got the impression that the sister property prioritizes direct booking to their property and/or works with other booking sites more specifically and puts Expedia second. It would have helped to know the Indian Flat office was closed and to have been given check-in instructions for this case as well as to have someone to communicate with, but as there is no cell service/wifi in the area, we couldn’t contact Expedia. Now that we know how check-in during the off season works, we would stay again as the location is convenient and price is reasonable for the included amenities.

Love the standard room we got and the patio seats. It’s only 10 mins away from Yosemite gate on 180 and 40 mins away from the Valley. The only downside is no Wi-Fi. We have to purchase at Cedar Lodge next door but signal is too low from the room due to distance. We can live without Wi-Fi but just that day happened to be urgent paperwork to take care of so we needed Wi-Fi. We have to go to Cedar Lodge lounge to purchase and use it for an hour.

The structure isn't anything fancy, but ideally located to reach Yosemite and very clean (both cabin and common showers/toilet). There isn't much around, except for a restaurant/grill (which closes at 8pm) and a store in the bordering lodge. We stayed in the deluxe tent cabin with our 2 dogs. It was very spacious. We love the Mountain View from our patio. They provided free WIFi. You can walk to the next hotel in 5 minutes for restaurant and gift shop. There’s a short river walk around the street. We really enjoyed our quiet time here before heading to Yosemite.

We stayed in a jupe tent which in theory is cool. It has solar power and each night the battery would say full but within a couple hours it was beeping empty. First night we had lights on and AC set higher than outside tent, second night I only had my phone plugged in, no lights. Also the provided WiFi either wouldn’t let you log in or it said no internet connection. I’m all for roughing it but when I was expecting to have it…otherwise clean tent and restaurant next door was good.
