Kentucky Lake Inn

The hostess was helpful and pleasant. The room was warm two flies and and small bug on the sheets, we removed them. We choose this motel because we had pets and needed a budget friendly location.

Inn was ok when you only need a bed and are active and away during the day. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room with two queen beds was small and tight. The beds were ok but mine felt like the mattress was leaning to one side. The TV only had analog service, no cable or high definition digital service. The bathroom was small. The sink drain was clogged and slow to drain. The room was clean. No bugs. The AC was wall mounted and worked well. The refrigerator worked well. And the ice machine near the office was always full. There is not enough parking for someone towing a boat and no charging outlets for boat battery charging. The accommodations were right for the fair price. I would stay here again.

No table or chairs. There was a a used towel laying on the floor when we arrived, front desk waived the dog fee which was nice. Beds were very comfortable.

Absolutely amazing experience. Probably best value motel you can get. Staying during the holidays there was still plenty of parking, everyone was quiet, and it was such a peaceful relaxing experience. Very comfortable rooms and the air conditioner was the best of any hotel we’ve stayed at in a long time. They may not have much in the way of amenities but it is cheap, clean, and comfortable and definitely worth the money. Staff was so kind also. Definitely plan to stay here again next time we are in the area it was an amazing experience,

The setting was peaceful with nice landscaping and a sparkling pool that was a nice size. Very friendly proprietors, too!

The website says breakfast is included. No breakfast was offered. The room was ok and the bed was comfortable; the owner was very friendly. If you stay here, be aware that there are no amenities other than a tiny bar of soap in the bathroom.

This is an older motel and it needs some new paint and upgrades. But it had pretty good mattress's. The shower drains very slow and the towels are rough. Just a little work and it could be a really nice place. Owner was very nice. Good parking. This place is pet friendly. It has a great paved walking path that my dog and I walked both directions on. "Loves" is close. Cracker Barrel is just down the street. And it was half the price of other hotels in area.

The only bad things about the room was the AC and the bathroom. The AC cut off and on no matter the setting and it dripped water. But they had a little bucket to catch the water. The bathroom shower had black mold and it needs updating badly. I wore my flip flops into the shower and there wasn’t any water pressure! The remainder of the room has been updated. The King bed was very comfortable and plenty of comfortable pillows (6) to be exact. The outside is clean and in a convenient location to the lake. Also their website advertised a free breakfast and there’s not a breakfast at all!

Check in was a breeze and while the room was smaller than I expected, it was extremely clean. New flooring in the room was beautifully done. The bathroom is small and needs updating, but again, was immaculately clean. We were here for a 2 night stay and it served our purpose well for our short trip. The ownerd are super nice and when my husband was packing up our truck, they chatted with him and made sure we enjoyed our stay. It may not have a lot of the amenities we use when we book longer trips, but we will definitely stay here again when in the area. They are hard working and super nice people.

Breakfast is not included. Bathroom wasn't very clean and there was a very large 8 legged creature living in it. Mattresses weren't real comfy, but it did the job for a place to sleep without any bed bugs!

Shower stall had soap scum and slow draining...feet standing in water... Door facing had been forced or dry rotted so door lock wasn't easy to close.

Bed was relatively comfortable and room was big but the bathroom smelled strongly of mold. Only went in there when necessary. I'll go a day without a shower thank you very much... Baseboard was cracked and warped around the shower and shower itself has cracked caulk all over the seams. The walls were all chipped and dirty, generally felt poorly kept. Wouldn't stay again.

Located near the interstate. Small room, but clean and sufficient for a quick one night stay.

Very nice older property but well maintained. Window heater/cooler a little loud but I didn't need it much as the weather was nice. Small room but fine for a short stay. Highly recommended

It's mildly confusing. However, they didn't charge me twice it was just an annoyance because we were checking in late at night.

First of all there was trash in our room when we got in there, a pop bottle and the floors still had dirt all over them from working men that stayed there before us. Then half of our electricity didn't work in the room and when told about these things they pretty much said oh well and they did nothing to correct the situation. Oh but wait! There's more! Not only was it the worst service I've ever seen in a hotel and they were hateful but they put my husband and I on their do not rent list!!! How does that even make sense? I was very discouraged with the property and the owners. They are very rude and unapproachable people. I do not recommend this property to anyone. It's dirty and their guest relations are lacking in several areas. If you have to stay here i say good luck to you because you are a brave one. I promise if you have any problems they will be made into your fault. Sad but also very true. Even ky dam motel is better than there and i know someone who caught scabies from that one! Smh it's a shame that they have to do people like that. It's almost like a disdain for Americans. I didn't quite understand why i was met with the rudeness and disrespect i was met with from the owners. Take my warning and don't stay there! Find somewhere else, anywhere else. Quality inn in draffenville is the best in the area in my opinion. But days inn in Calvert city has the sweetest staff so those choices are the better choice.

Check in was easy. Room is a nice size and very neat and clean. Nice size TV as well.

No matter how many times I come to wky , this motel is my absolute favorite place to stay… Staff is so welcoming

Was extremely hard to find entrance to property at night because of no street lamps, lighted marquee signs, ect.

It's a quiet place out in the country. The room is cozy. It was quiet until the neighbors woke up in the morning.

Wrongfully advertised, we went there to check in and they didn’t not offer breakfast. It said in the options that they included breakfast but they are lieing.

Good clean room. Microwave / fridge working fine. However, if I had found the fridge already connected, it would have been better. Quiet area. Nice staff.
