Our stay at the blue Mountain Inn was fantastic! It was only a two day stay however the accommodation was tremendous as they upgraded our room to a suite provided an early check-in and the room met all of our expectations and then some! The amenities around the property, including Parking, indoor pool and *The outdoor hot tubs were fantastic! The location was a short 5 to 10 minute walk from the main blue Mountain Village resort so met our needs!

Loved the onsite breakfast at pottery. Enjoyed the clean, safe, warm atmosphere. Pool and hot tubs were awesome. Bed could be a little comfier. Overall great value!

This hotel is in a great area and walkable to the village. Bruce at the front desk is a gem and one of the reasons we would stay here again. He goes above and beyond for customers. The property is nice and the pool and hot tubs are lovely too.

FILTHY! Upon entry it smelled sweaty. White dust and debris lined the entire room of dark carpet, I mean it looks like they have never used an edging tool to clean the room to the walls. The centre area under the beds has NEVER been vaccuumed as it had such a thick layer of dust. An old contact lense was stuck to the bathroom wall above a little shelf by the mirror and splaters of junk here and there everywhere. The glass shower door was dirty with splatters of stuff. The tissue box in the bathroom had a big wad of used tissue sticking up out of it and below the wad it look to be filled with garbage. The bathroom sliding door was broken and the metal lock fixture fell off repeatedly. You can't beat the location of The Blue Mountain hotels. We chose it for the convenience for a last minute all day fun event at the adventure park at Blue. The Inn is the furthest from the fun but wont break the bank. Maybe the hotels 10 min away would have been a better choice!

Property was nice, designed well, and kept clean. However vacuuming details can be improved as it was dusty around baseboards, edges and all hard to reach places (under the table, etc). My infant found it all!

Property is very dated and carpeted rooms are not the cleanest given they are used by skiers and snowboarders. There isn't anywhere to store ski/snowboard equipment and not enough hooks to hang stuff. We are a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 young kids, the space was ok and we had to keep ski equipment in the car. Also the beds are very small (1 adult 1 under 8 is a squeeze). Bathroom is also very small with no bath. The location is great for skiing though, able to walk to 1 of the chairlifts. It reflected in the price of $800 for 3 nights. The compulsory resort fee includes mountain top skating, snow shoeing and canopy climbing with all rental equipment included $20 per night stay creadit that you can use towards good there. Swimming pool and 4 hot tubs are nice addition and a convenient microwave near the pool area. So if its your fist time in the area and you have enough time this place is not the worst.

I went with a friend for the weekend and also to see if this hotel would be good for future family vacations. There was a convention going on at the time which we were not part of and yet our room was placed on second floor, which is the hallway to the convention center. Lots of noise and traffic till late at night. What also didn’t help is our door was clearly warped because there was a large gap between the top and bottom of the door frame, so clearly the door had been replaced in a frame that didn’t work letting in lots of noise as well. My room was 229 and it looked like the room next to us also had the same problem. It is an older hotel so the rooms are dated, but are clean. It has good amenities, however, due to the fact that we were placed in an unsuitable room location and the questionable safety of the door I would not go back. I would tell others to spend more money to stay somewhere else.

This hotel was very close to the village...able to walk was great. Down falls would be...no microwave in room, no lotion in bathroom, sheets were like paper, perhaps too much starch, and bed was so uncomfortable-had a sore back for most of the morning.

This was a fantastic stay. The staff at the Blur Mountain Inn, specifically Bruce at the front desk, were amazing hosts. One of the housekeeping staff saw me returning my empty luggage cart upon checking and offered to return it for me so I didn’t have to go back down to the lobby. We ate at both restaurants on site and our servers at each location were lovely, personable, and made the experience that much better. Overall, I’m very happy with this experience and look forward to returning!

I want to give a special shout out to Kevin and Jessica T. They were both so very helpful with my checkin. Kevin was great at assigning us a walk out room right by the hot tubs, so awesome. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and Jessica T brought us a complimentary bottle of wine with a hand written card. We were also given some complimentary passes for gondola ride and lights and hiking. I will definitely be back to the Blue Mountain Resort Inn. The staff was phenomenal, it is very clean, two good restaurants on site, indoor pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs. 5 min walk to the village.

We were visiting the Lake Huron shore for the fist time, and they were collectively enthusiastic and very well informed about the activities, the places to visit, the many opportunities in the hotel (generous coupons for meals, pool, hot tubs) where to find a microwave (next to the reception area) and so on. Our check-in process was exceedingly long and complicated which was entirely attributable to the staff. We had reserved a room with two double beds, and very clearly had 4 family members present (the staff could see us, counted us, and handed us 4 wristbands), but gave us the keys to a room with a single kind bed because that is what was in the system. They didn’t mention this to us, but a senior staff member who was standing around (supervising?) the solo check-in employee questioned her decision as soon as we had left the lobby. We know this because our friend was behind us, checking in next. That is poor customer service and does not make sense at all. Additionally, both staff members should have been checking people in. One was simply chatting and greeting folks in the slow-moving line. This was not a great experience. Other than that, everything was fine, but this took 30 additional minutes of our evening and was frankly quite annoying.

Enjoyed a cost effective option for Blue Mountain. Outside the facility it doesn’t look like much - kinda shabby - but the rooms were nice and restaurant too. Bruce at the front desk was a fabulous ambassador and Michele at The Pottery was a great server. Enjoyed our time.

Location was good. 5 minute walk to the village but the path back to the hotel at night is not very well lit. Outdoor hot tubs were a plus but one wasn’t working. Overall okay stay. Room was clean but caulking and paint peeling. Could use some TLC.

The room was quiet. Hot tubs were not as warm as we are used to. There is no exhaust vent fan in the bathroom. The bathroom sink plunger was broken and looked like it had been that way for some time. We found the cost of dining in the hotel on the expensive side, and the menu was very limited in choice. I will say that the food we did have was very delicious.

Check-in process took too long and was overly complicated by staff who may not have been trained or was new to position. Conversely, check-out was a breeze and almost instant. The room/bathroom were clean. Stain spots were visible in some places on the bedding. We asked room service for a utensil during the evening hours and they responded quickly. The hotel is conveniently located 7 min. walking distance to the Village. No issues finding parking, which is first come, first serve. Hotel allows you to park prior to obtaining your room. Breakfast on site has a good menu, but it's pricey. Hotel provides voucher, which helps.

Mountain view was good in one of the rooms the other room was a parkinglot view even though I booked both together. The breakfast in the inhouse restaurant took about an hour to receive it. Unfortunately when it came was not that tastefull. The floors seemed like there was a flood on the floor. My rooms were booked 3 months ahead and they were far apart. Almost diff floor even if I had not said something. The location was ok with shuttle service.
