La Habitación correcta, pero las instalaciones pesimas, el ascensor averiado, el aspecto de edificio viejo y nada limpio, la recepcion estaba cerrada y me atendio como un especio de vigilante, ademas pedian 5,00 euros por dejar las maletas en custodia, cuando nunca ningun alojamiento en madrid me habia pedido dinero por ese motivo, y tambien me dicen que me iban a cobrar 15,00 extras por llegar despues de las 24;00, menos mal que el vuelo fue puntual y llegamos antes

My hubby and I were so pleasantly surprised by this place! We were only in Madrid for a few hours so went for something low priced and convenient in location (arriving by Renfe at Atosca and leaving by plane at Madrid Barajas and walkable to Plaza Mayor & Mercado de San Miguel & San Gines Chocolate). The room was much nicer and bigger than expected. It was nice having an elevator to bring bags up the stairs. The bathroom and shower was also clean. It got a little noisy outside on a Friday night, we didn't realize how much night life was on that street. Not a big deal though.

In an old building that’s not easy to find. Small sign next to iron gate along side other hotels that share the same building. on 2nd floor. Lift available, but small. Rooms modernised and simple. Clean. But….this place is noisy! No avoiding this as it’s located on a street and next to a square that’s full of bars and restaurants. Noise can be excessive and prolonged often until 4 am. Take earplugs!!

O hostel é super bem localizado, o quarto é limpo e confortável, porem tivemos dois problemas: primeiro o quarto foi entregue com duas horas de atraso, e tivemos certa dificuldade em negociar um check out tardio com a senhora responsável, como forma de compensação. Outro problema foi com relação ao elevador, que só funcionou na chegada, depois parou e tivemos que usar escada, e para quem estar cansado de andar o dia todo, é complicado.

First room by the city way too noisy, second room on the back smelled terrible. The fridge in one of the rooms wasn’t working. The elevator wasn’t working upon our arrival. The towels were very stiff and felt terrible. Will not return there even when the location was good.

El alojamiento está muy bien, habitación pequeñita pero cómoda y práctica. Lo que no sabia es que si quieres dejar la maleta en el check-out para que la guarden unas horas has de pagar 5€. También he echado en falta un pequeño baño fuera de las habitaciones por si necesitas ir al recoger tu maleta antes de tu viaje de vuelta. Pero en general, esta muy bien para pasar unos pocos días en la ciudad.

Una buena habitacion con ambientación muy agradable. Buenas cama y baño. El recepcionista muy amable. Exelente ubicación. Ese día estaba roto el ascensor ( era domingo y se pidió reparación el martes anterior) tercer piso por escalera.

Very lovely family that managed the hotel. Nice rooms, lovely people, spacious and well maintained. Right in the heart of the best areas in sol. ALSO they have elevator so you don't need to lug your bags up stairs like 98% of these places require.

We only stayed one night here and it was perfect for that. The location was very good - lots of restaurants near and close to the metro. Check in and out was super easy. A little street noise in the middle of the night from a nearby bar but not terrible. My only very minor complaints were that the plugs were loose so my phone didn't charge, and the towels were like sandpaper! But seriously, the location and the room itself were exactly what we needed it to be.

Avoid like the plague. Unsafe. We were kept awake all night by a physical and verbal fight. There is no way to contact staff, who are not on site. They refused to refund the days we prepaid but did not use bc we were too freaked out to stay there any longer. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at You’d have to be crazy to stay there

Le grand point fort de l'hotel est sa localisation. Pour le reste tout est correct ( confort, ménage...) 2 points a améliorer : l'insonorisation moyenne et le fait qu'il n'y ait jamais personne à l'accueil en 4 jours, clé récupérée dans 1 boitier et deposée dans 1 casier a la fin. Même si tout n'est pas parfait le prix est en fonction et le rapport qualite prix excellent.

Staff were super friendly and check-in was very easy. Room was large, had a functioning mini fridge and a nice sized washroom. The hotel is in the middle of a very hip area, full of cool little bars and tapas restaurants. Would highly recommend for anyone! Hotel is located on the second floor, you can either access by stairs or old school elevator.

The property on it’s own is fine, it’s clean and roomy but there other features that are worth considering. 1. The concierge service is almost non existent, mind you when you find them, they are nice and polite. 2. For me this was the biggest drawback: The property gives you one access card and like an all inclusive you need to plug it into the “activation” holder and once you take it out the power shuts down in the room including fridge and AC. Tje concept is OK but what if one person wants to stay in ?? It was quite annoying. 3. You need to request service which again is fine bit how will I know that the little sliders on the doors mean that? there are no signs explaining that. We stayed in Barcelona and in Seville for around the same price range so maybe my expectations were higher than expected but having two access cards and a present concierge is not asking for a lot!

Great place to stay overall! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is central and walkable to everything we wanted to see. Also a 5 minute walk away from the metro. I would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed one night here and it was perfect for that. The location was very good - lots of restaurants near and close to the metro. Check in and out was super easy. Convenient location close to historical landmarks and top sights in Madrid. Also walking distance to lots of dining options, and shopping. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The only problem we encountered is that we were not aware that front desk reception is on the second floor of the building. It would help to have signs indicating this.

The location is fantastic, minutes from plaza Santa Ana, and from Sol. Many many restaurants and stores, can walk to el Retiro and museums as well. We had a car, so parking was a bit of a challenge, as was driving into the area. But if you are using the metro, area can't be beat. Staff was very helpful as well. Bed was comfortable. Room sparkling clean and funky comfortable chair with matching drawers. Would stay again!
