Hampton Inn by Hilton Edmonton/Sherwood Park

Very clean and conveniently located by huge plaza. Good breakfast and wonderful gym !

Property is very clean, great amenities in the room. Bathroom well designed with hooks, shelves and more. Great comp breakfast. Staff very friendly. Only negative I would mention is slippery flooring in pool area, but nice pool and hot tub.

Hotel was easy to get to from nearby routes, large parking lot. Was able to park near door with relative ease. Check in was quick and easy, staff very polite and accommodating. Room was very spacious (12 ft ceilings)and clean, walls maybe a bit stark (no artwork to break up bare walls). Ate in the attached restaurant/lounge - good food, reasonably priced. We had a group of 6 and were seated at a semi- enclosed table/alcove that allowed us good privacy for visiting. All in all, great hotel - would definitely stay here again.

The room was spotless clean. The hallways and facilities like the pool and hot tub were very clean. The staff was very courteous. Overall the experience was excellent. I would recommend this hotel for a stay.

The hotel appears to be in new condition. The shared spaces are clean and in good state of repair including the pool and gym areas. The breakfast room was spacious and well organized, and very well attended by the staff

The hot tub was hot. The pool was cool. The rooms where clean and the breakfast was enjoyable. Good value.

I was looking forward to a nice hot tub and the hot tub ended up being freezing. They said they changed the water that day. There was no tub in the room so I didn’t get anything but an awesome king size bed. The hotel should have done something for guest if the amenities aren’t working.

Hotel is nice and cleanly kept.. pillows were not comfortable and I had made a note of the type of rooms we needed for our family stay and they did not have what I requested ready. However even though it took about 1 hour to sort out the girl at the front desk arranged my request. The hot tub was out of order but the pool was working. I was a little upset as my family stays with Hampton all over Canada and they’ve had good reviews. Still had a good stay even though the start was a little frustrating.

Very Clean

This had all the necessary facilities and conveniences plus an excellent staff BUT 1.very small bathtub. Where did the chain get the idea a bathtub for very small people and children is ok for adults. 2:This tub was in fact dangerous for elderly people. I used it once only and went to the pool thereafter and that is not intended as a tub. 3:For clothing storage there was 3 small wire baskets for 2 queen bed rooms for 5 days. Dumb design. 4: first day I wouldn’t use the spa tub because when the jets were off there was loose material on the bottom in 3 areas of the tub which I thought may have been from a child’s mistake in the tub. I reported this to the front desk and she said she would check that right away. This was Saturday. Sunday same condition. Monday same Tuesday it was clean so I used it Wend same type material was back???? I reported that again to front desk as I was checking out I managed as maintenance a condo pool for 3 years and that would NEVER be allowed AND Health in BC and I am sure in AB would shut your spa down and fine if they were to see it. Your food and sitting amenities were great as was the polo Club. We stayed nast time across the way at a similar place the BEST WESTERN and that was by far a better facility. We will repeat ,the staff were great but as a corporate hotel you should be MUCH better. I paid my bill in full and caused no damage so we held up our part of the bargain . Thank you. Very clean and comfortable

Found someone else’s hair in my shower. There was some athletic group running up & down the hallways, slamming doors, yelling. Being extra obnoxious!!!

The room was spotless clean. The hallways and facilities like the pool and hot tub were very clean. The staff was very courteous. Overall the experience was excellent. I would recommend this hotel for a stay.

The facilities are excellent and well-maintained, though there were a few service glitches. I had booked a water-view room but was initially assigned a ground-floor room with no view. After notifying the front desk, the staff promptly rearranged a water-view room for me, which I appreciated. However, it seems the room number was not updated in the system, as I had to use the previous room number to log into the internet. Additionally, there was no housekeeping service provided the next day, which was disappointing.

Internet was absolutely horrendous, could not don any work at all from the room.

Only issue was the beds were uncomfortable. Other than that all was good professional staff, thumbs up

The beds we’re terribly uncomfortable The sound proofing was poor (could hear people walking in room above) Very noisy plumbing. Would rattle in the walls when turning off the faucet

The poor rating for the staff was because of my checkin experience. The desk clerk was efficient yet too efficient. He never made eye contact nor engaged in any conversation. He also seemed very busy as he was the only person I saw until the next morning.

I didn't like being charged a $15.00 early fee for 2 hours. The room was not being used. Never once have stayed to the checkout time but if I leave 4 hours before there is no discount. However there are more than one hotel in Edmonton so this was the last I will be at the Hampton which I have been going to every 8 weeks. Funny how a bean counter can be the straw. Lousy towels which you can read the newspaper through and only one chair in the room overlooked but not again

Staff were very accommodating and helpful

Second time at this location however we arrived 45 minutes early for check in and was charged an extra $15 for early check in. I’ve never been charged for an early check in so was somewhat surprised about this, especially when the room is ready and we were only less than an hour early.

Excellent complementary breakfast. Convenient location for our purposes. Staff did not respond appropriately to our complaints about having to change rooms in the middle of the night because of a faulty heating system and room servicing requests.

The staff at this particular Hampton are friendly and helpful and go out of their way with little touches that truly makes one feel welcome. They are helpful and responsive to inquiries.

Always a great stay, close access to highway 16 and shopping/ dining in emerald hills

Even though they have a convenient restaurant and bar on property, I love that the Keg is within walking distance.

The area around was full of garbage

It was near enough to the Millennium Place Convention Center but not too close so was relaxing after the show.

The walking trail around the lake behind the hotel is a nice little walk after a long day of driving!

Loved this hotel. Room was so clean and comfortable. Best breakfast we have ever seen. Friendly and helpful staff.

The only thing we didn’t like is the breakfast. The guy didn’t make sure it was filled up. It didn’t really taste very good.
