Avoid this hotel. Our stay was completely unacceptable, particularly as we were travelling with children. The room was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The bedside lights were broken, with exposed wiring, which was an obvious safety concern. The safety gate at the top of the stairs was also broken and did not provide a safe barrier for children. The bathroom smelled strongly of stale urine and was visibly filthy. There was rubbish left underneath the bed, and we even found a dirty towel stuffed above the curtains. The overall standard of cleanliness was appalling. Unfortunately, the problems continued outside the room. The exterior and communal areas were poorly maintained and dirty, with rubbish left on the stairs. There were also numerous rat poison boxes positioned around the building, which, combined with the general state of the property, added to our concerns about hygiene and maintenance. This was not simply a case of the hotel being basic or dated. There were genuine cleanliness and safety issues that should have been addressed before the room was made available to guests. Based on our experience, I could not recommend staying here, particularly for families with children.

I have stayed at a couple of B&B Hotels last year in Germany, which where more like Hotel. This one in Rouen France was more of a Motel. The Room was ideal for a family of four with My Children sleeping in the Mezzanine and the room was very clean, fairly near parking for the car. The Breakfast had better in the ones in Germany.
