We liked the atmosphere with friendly staff, beautiful antique furniture, wonderful breakfast, quietness, easy parking, and close location off the highway to find. We did not have a TV or microwave in our room, but they were both available nearby in the hall and comfy little lounge a few rooms away on our floor, which we enjoyed.

Chose this Bed and Breakfast due to its proximity to Riding Mountain National Park. On arrival we were greeted fairly formally by the owner. We were offered breakfast choices there and then (for the next morning). Asked to remove our shoes before proceeding beyond the entrance lobby which seemed a strange request for a commercial property and which I found some what rude, although I could understand that it was to protect polished wood flooring. The room was very comfortable with air conditioning and a good ensuite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable but unfortunately the walls between rooms was not adequately soundproofed and we were disturbed by the child in the next room and the sounds of snoring during the night. Sadly there was no means of making a hot drink (coffee maker or kettle) anywhere in the property and none was offered outside breakfast time. There was a microwave for the use of guests and a TV room (no TV in rooms). Breakfast was fairly formal with yoghurt, toast, fruit juice (served in individual cartons with a straw!) choice of tea or coffee and a cooked breakfast. This was omelette or some similar hot offering but no alternative offered. No refills or tea or coffee were offered and we witnessed some guests being asked to vacate their tables to make way for the next sitting. Overall the Honeycomb Bed and Breakfast was a pleasant place to stay but we felt that the host could be a little more friendly and show an interest in her guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here . I took my morning coffee out on the expansive deck to look out over a gorgeous prairie scene . I love how they have maintained the vintage flavour of the place . Breakfast was delightful !

Cindy was a great host. It was our first b&b experience and it was great. Minutes away from Riding Mountain National Park. Rooms were clean and quiet. Large deck area with a nice view and peaceful environment. We’re already planning on booking again in the future.

We were so happy to find this gem!! The building is beautiful and decorated perfectly. Each room has a bathroom and fridge which is very handy for a B&B. Cindy is a great hostess and her staff is very friendly. I would recommend this property whole heartedly.

The property was clean and looked amazing, the host was reluctant to provide us with breakfast which we already paid for. The room had zero air circulation and was really stuffy, i had to open the window a little bit before going to sleep as i was feeling breathless. Got Fever the next day as the cold air hit me all night. overall an average experience. If i pay for food i expect to get it even if i dont eat it!

Cindy is the perfect host. You will not find better service. An old home that is clean and has great history. Rooms are small ofcourse so perfect for a couple of days or for those getting out a lot. Food was made with love. Great getaway! Lovely time, will go back for sure!

You don’t often see B&Bs that are true to its tradition, we had an excellent stay at this old fashioned location with a touch of modern flair. The owner invites you in like a member of the family and ensures that your stay is seamless, would recommend without any reservation!

Our hostess, Cindy, was so welcoming and answered any questions we had. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The location is perfect and Cindy prepared a gourmet breakfast for us in the morning. We highly recommend Honeycomb B&B in Onanole.

We were offered breakfast choices there and then (for the next morning). Asked to remove our shoes before proceeding beyond the entrance lobby which seemed a strange request for a commercial property and which I found some what rude, although I could understand that it was to protect polished wood flooring. The room was very comfortable with air conditioning and a good ensuite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable but unfortunately the walls between rooms was not adequately soundproofed and we were disturbed by the child in the next room and the sounds of snoring during the night. Sadly there was no means of making a hot drink (coffee maker or kettle) anywhere in the property and none was offered outside breakfast time. There was a microwave for the use of guests and a TV room (no TV in rooms). Breakfast was fairly formal with yoghurt, toast, fruit juice (served in individual cartons with a straw!) choice of tea or coffee and a cooked breakfast. Wonderful location near the park and Wasamgaming. The host was a delight. Unfortunately, some unruly guests on our second night put a damper on things but the host dealt with it promptly and apologized at breakfast the next morning. We will be back!

This was my first experience at a B&B after much traveling. This was a great experience! Cindy and her staff made this such a lovely stay. The home is clean and beautiful. The breakfasts were beyond top notch ( thank you Anne!) and the property is so natural and relaxing. We won’t hesitate to stay here again.

Hospitality is great, kind of like staying at a grandmas house. Antique furniture, hot homemade breakfasts, and tips for seeing the National Park. Sunsets and great views from the patio made this stop very relaxing. It’s an old house, so the stairs creak and the bathroom needs an update, but it’s a great stop while traveling across Manitoba.
