A lovely historic building set in a very convenient location and an easy walk to the principal attractions. The staff are super-helpful and the rooms clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the roof terrace after a hard day’s sightseeing!

We arrived home today after a 3 night stay and would highly recommend this hotel. It is a typical, traditional Spanish building with great decor/artefacts to match. The rooms are adequate, very clean and comfortable, ours had very high ceilings and a little courtyard. The roof top terrace is a great place to chill after a busy day sightseeing, we even used the pool after 10pm, the hotel was very relaxed as long as we didnt make too much noise. The breakfast was excellent and fresh with lots of options (Im a vegetarian). The best thing was the staff, every single person we spoke to was so helpful and friendly, they even packed us a packed lunch for our early morning flight! We booked a car service via the hotel to and from the airport which was professional and clean (only 20 mins ride from Seville airport). The hotel is minutes from many tourist attractions like the cathedral, bull ring, but far enough that you dont hear any noice apart from the odd parakeet. If you are thinking of visiting Seville this place is a must.

A real Gem of an Hotel very close and conveniently situated within the old town. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. A real boutique feel with some beautiful historic features, pretty courtyards and welcoming staff. Will definitely go back. Work presently ongoing to upgrade roof terrace but still pleasant to enjoy an early evening drink.

We loved the property’s Spanish feel. We were told it was two old homes combined to make the hotel. Lots of quiet lounging areas and a sunny terrace with a waiter. After a hot, busy day in Seville it was the perfect spot for a cool drink and a little down time. Excellent breakfast with good selection. Fresh fruit, orange juice, lettuce, salad veggies,pastries, bacon, eggs,yogurt,ham & cheeses etc. Staff were all exceptional and the hotel was close to the Cathedral, shopping etc. We would definitely recommend this little gem!

This was an excellent location for a 3 night stay in Seville. We got welcome drinks on arrival and were able to explore the best sights that Seville has to offer. Loads of options for tapas nearby and the breakfast at the hotel was fantastic. Room itself was fantastic and comfy for the stay. Amazing decor. Just a shame about the maintenance of the rooftop during our stay.

Hotel is on a quiet road near to a fantastic busy area, near the Cathedral, bars, restaurants and independent shops in the old part of Seville. It's a great location. The design is beautiful, set on 4 levels with a roof terrace, sauna, jacuzzi and a tiny swimming pool and lots of interestin fine art on all floors. Breakfast had a lovely choice of quality food (salmon, cheese, meat, scrambled eggs, fruit, cereals, breads) and 2 coffee machines with delicious tasting coffee. Lovely staff, relaxed, peaceful atmosphere. There were lots of older mature guests here at the time we went. The temperature inside was always cool because of the old design - regardless of how high the temperature is outside.

Charming small boutique hotel with a great ambience, lovely public areas, great staff, miniscule rooftop pool, and fabulous breakfast. I had a beautiful room with a comfortable bed and a small enclosed balcony off it , and a bathtub in the lovely bathroom.

This hotel is in a great location within a very short walk of the cathedral/city centre. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The self-service breakfast provided a good choice to start the day off. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice hot shower.

The antiquity of the property was impressive and everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. While some areas of the hotel are dated, it is centrally located and extremely clean. It is a nice place to stay.

I was given Room 19, which on entering had a very damp smell. The beds were damp, the heater did not work and the wall was covered in black mould. How the staff had not realised the smell and mould is not possible. I asked to change rooms which was handled well by Cristina although I was offered no apology or compensation for the mouldy room. The new room was okay but I was given twin single beds again and no key card until the following day. Breakfast was limited and there was not enough tables, no staff came to help so I went elsewhere. There was also no water provided in rooms. Overall this was not a 4 star hotel, and I would not recommend for a trip to Seville.

4 night stay at the Hotel. The cleanliness of the bathroom, toilet and bed were exemplary. Reception staff were fantastic. Most welcome was the welcome fresh fruit and champagne. Would definitely recommend this lovely Hotel. In the centre of the City and yet so quiet.

Excellent choix: maison traditionnelle très bien décorée et pleine de charme dans une rue très calme à 3 mn à pieds de la cathédrale. Personnel adorable. Excellent bon petit déjeuner avec encore une fois une personne adorable au service! Seul regret: ne pas avoir réservé une chambre sur l’extérieur car la nôtre était sur l’intérieur et donc extrêmement sombre et on entendait un peu les bruits du patio… ne pas hésiter à réserver!

Upon checked in, we discovered the WiFi in the room was not working. It was a Sunday evening and the hotel cannot correct it. We had a nice large room except it was dark so it did not feel welcoming. Therefore the initial impression was terrible for the money we spent and our expectation. The location however is superb which compensated part of the overall experience. I definitely would not stay again.

What a wonderful property! Close to everything and convenient for walking. The room was beautifully done in traditional Spanish design, impeccably clean. High ceilings with exposed beams and large windows that opened to a terrace with orange trees. Very special property in Arenal area of Seville. Highly recommend!

Good location, 10 mins from Cathedral and easy walking to shops, bars and restaurants. We were on the first floor facing the street. It was very noisy at night and early in the morning, we would have asked to move but we were only there for 3 nights, doesn't help that the road is cobbled and vehicle noise is loud.

Liked everything about this hotel annd staff except the air conditioning in the room wasn’t getting cold. Informed reception on leaving and they said they would get it fixed. Probably just needs re gassing.

Our 3 night stay was outstanding! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was beautiful. We were impressed with the comfort of the bed. The bath towels were extra large and the terry cloth robes were icing on the cake. We were thankful that the air conditioner worked like a boss. The location was spot on, nice and quiet at night and right around the corner from Cathedral.

This hotel is very charming and on the smaller side which is nice. the location is very central to restaurants and shopping and attractions. The best part was that it was very quiet. The only negative was that the rooms are dark and there are not a lot of places to sit on the patio since many guests would park themselves there for hours to enjoy the sun and pool. I would stay there again.

Las Casas de El Arenal was conveniently located in the heart of Seville, a hidden gem in this beautiful Spanish city. The crown jewel of this quaint two-story hotel (with inner courtyard), however, lies in its amazing staff! Maria Theresa and Ernesto were exceptional in providing us with a warm welcome and excellent service. Maria Theresa was so helpful in securing restaurant reservations during Seville’s high peak season when places were completely full. After struggling online with a particular attraction due to technical issues with the website, Maria Theresa was able to secure the tickets without a problem. She worked each of the consecutive five days we stayed at the hotel and greeted each guest with warmth and compassion. Because of Maria Theresa’s kindness and patience with hotel guests like ourselves, we started calling her “Mother Theresa” instead! Ernesto also warmly greeted us each morning and late at night in the dining areas. His positive attitude was infectious and made our time in a foreign city feel like home. The dedication and experience of this hotel’s staff made our stay most enjoyable. We would definitely recommend staying at Las Casas de El Arenal.

The area was great, hotel was pleasant; however, I was admonished a couple of times First, I needed a couple of glasses as we had wine and were waiting for an uber. I went to kitchen and called out. I would just say poor communication and poor customer service skills to patrons.

Customer services horrible. We didn’t check in after our arrival. I was asked to rent another room for more than 350 euros because the rooms are only available for two guesses. I had to sleep separate from my family in another room, paying that amount, if I want to stay. We asked for reimbursement and was not granted. The area for parking is horrible, I do not recommend this place at all for your vacation time.

We arrived home today after a 3 night stay and would highly recommend this hotel. It is a typical, traditional Spanish building with great decor/artefacts to match. The rooms are adequate, very clean and comfortable, ours had very high ceilings and a little courtyard. The roof top terrace is a great place to chill after a busy day sightseeing, we even used the pool after 10pm, the hotel was very relaxed as long as we didnt make too much noise. The breakfast was excellent and fresh with lots of options (Im a vegetarian). The reception staff were always very helpful and the hotel has a lovely Spanish feel to it .There was a small problem with the bathroom on the first night and they offered and gave us an upgraded room the next day .Loved the local area with bars and restaurants . Will definitely return here .

4 night stay at the Hotel. The cleanliness of the bathroom, toilet and bed were exemplary. Reception staff were fantastic. Most welcome was the welcome fresh fruit and champagne. Would definitely recommend this lovely Hotel. In the centre of the City and yet so quiet.

We wanted to stay at a hotel with old world charm and this one was perfect!!!! The staff had exceptional service. She had a room available so we were able to check in early. The complementary glass of cava was lovely. This hotel was gorgeously decorated with antique furniture and updated amenities. The courtyard inside the hotel was quiet and a lovely spot to eat breakfast or enjoy a drink in the evening. The rooftop has a dining option and a beautiful view of the city. They had fresh flowers in our room every day. So fresh one set had ants on them and we had to leave them outside....oops. The hotel was noticeably clean but our room had a distinct smell and the antique furniture could have used some freshening. I didn't want to sit on it. The bedding and bathroom were freshly cleaned and we were comfortable. It was so quiet. We had been traveling all over Spain and it was nice to find a hotel conveniently located and quiet. If you are looking for a charming property to stay close to town and transportation I highly recommend this one!

This was our first visit to Sevilla and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. The location is excellent - right in the middle of the old part of the city - so dining and drinking options are plentiful and just a few steps away. Because our travel options changed, we arrived very early but were still able to check into our room. Amazing! It was so nice to be able to get a shower and changed before exploring the beautiful city. The hotel is well presented and kept very clean. The room had fantastic air conditioning - essential in the summer - and a small balcony overlooking an inner courtyard. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Would return without hesitation.

This hotel is in a great location within a very short walk of the cathedral/city centre. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The self-service breakfast provided a good choice to start the day off. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice hot shower.

I was given Room 19, which on entering had a very damp smell. The beds were damp, the heater did not work and the wall was covered in black mould. How the staff had not realised the smell and mould is not possible. I asked to change rooms which was handled well by Cristina although I was offered no apology or compensation for the mouldy room. The new room was okay but I was given twin single beds again and no key card until the following day. Breakfast was limited and there was not enough tables, no staff came to help so I went elsewhere. There was also no water provided in rooms. Overall this was not a 4 star hotel, and I would not recommend for a trip to Seville.

Lovely boutique hotel in the old town in reach of all the attractions. Staff were friendly. Open areas were lovely, the only criticism is that the breakfast area was not large enough, they could easily use another courtyard to solve the issue

This was an excellent location for a 3 night stay in Seville. We got welcome drinks on arrival and were able to explore the best sights that Seville has to offer. Loads of options for tapas nearby and the breakfast at the hotel was fantastic. Room itself was fantastic and comfy for the stay. Amazing decor. Just a shame about the maintenance of the rooftop during our stay.

Hotel is on a quiet road near to a fantastic busy area, near the Cathedral, bars, restaurants and independent shops in the old part of Seville. It's a great location. The design is beautiful, set on 4 levels with a roof terrace, sauna, jacuzzi and a tiny swimming pool and lots of interestin fine art on all floors. Breakfast had a lovely choice of quality food (salmon, cheese, meat, scrambled eggs, fruit, cereals, breads) and 2 coffee machines with delicious tasting coffee. Lovely staff, relaxed, peaceful atmosphere. There were lots of older mature guests here at the time we went. The temperature inside was always cool because of the old design - regardless of how high the temperature is outside.

The room was spotless and tidy. AC was fabulous for the first half an hour but it was soon too cold but the regulator could only be adjusted with great difficulty- we had to resort to switching the machine on and off, especially late at night. We were told we could use the bar - then , there's “ actually no bar, but there’s a man who will bring you drinks”. At our very first breakfast we arrived at 1030- breakfast closes at 11am - there was a small amount of congealed overcooked scrambled egg in the chafing dish along with 2-4 rashers of bacon - I said the scrambled eggs looked more like an omelette but the waiter thought I was asking for an omelette and said ‘no omelette, sorry’. The rest was all cold food which hadn’t been replenished and the toaster was switched off at the mains - no moves made to switch it back on. Very little English was spoken in the hotel apart from at the main reception, but we were ok with that- a few smiles from the guy running breakfast wouldn’t have gone amiss - there was no welcoming meet and greet at the breakfast table. The pool was tiny and on the roof - we took drinks up in the evening and it was nice sitting out there. The room was meant to have a balcony but the balcony was internal, about 3 feet wide with no chairs to sit on, looking down on a central courtyard, so not much use. The bathroom was clean with a nice double shower. The bathtub jacuzzi in the deluxe room was sunken and didn’t feel like we would be able to get out of It.
