I would give this property a 5 out of 5, but due to the fact that it was a Saturday night and they had a Band playing in the main area of the hotel and the bar didn't close until 1:00am, I have only given it a 4 out of 5. The rooms a very quant and I love the barn doors setup in the rooms. They were clean and maintained reasonable well.

Fair value hotel. Nicely refurbed rooms with a white/navy/black nautical theme. Very fresh. Room and bathroom were small but well appointed. Great Location. Pub serves decent meals and its nice to sit out near the front windows of the pub and have views of the Myall River and boats. Friendly staff. There was a lot to like about Tea Gardens Hotel. However, 2 things which would stop me booking again is the really uncomfortable mattress on the bed, causing lost sleep and the children's organ type game installed in the playground right outside guests rooms. We love kids but hours of chimes and screaming at such close quarters ..... sometimes late into the evening is far from relaxing...... especially on the back of little sleep due to lumpy mattresses.

The accommodation was good but would not recommend staying on a Saturday night the live band was very noisy and when it ended at about 10.30pm the guests were even noisier. Apart from that it was a nice place to stay.

The Tea Gardens motel is a great pkace to stay. They had nice sizeable rooms for the price I paid. There was a childrens playground in the centre area, which makes it great for families. The dining options are big considering thete is a restaurant at the motel, and other restaurants in the area. The bay outside the motel is just across the road, and provides a nice view when you are outside. The atmosphere is very welcoming and you feel comfortable staying here.

Recently spent a night here and it was perfect, friendly staff, great kids area, wonderful menu, clean rooms, pet friendly, great location, i highly recommend tea gardens hotel as a family suitable accommodation I did have some trouble getting them on the phone and had no reply to an email i sent but it was a very busy time of year so understandable and i did eventually get in contact with them

Loved this place! Its pub accommodation but super fancy… The rooms are so well styled… very impressed… lovely linen, modern and well maintained.. perfect for my one night stay back to Sydney… the location is gorgeous… right on the water… the bistro is wonderful… defs will stay again

The room had cockroaches. Room floor buckled, uneven, and a trip hazard, we tripped on a raised joint on the floor boards. No hair dryer or microwave, no glasses in room for water, only 2 cups, onl 1 teabag, very poor for the price. Waited 1/2 hour to find someone to check us in.

Hotel check in was difficult as reception was unattended and difficult to find to start with and to get someone from the pub to check u in was difficult , check in time online says 2 pm and staff told me was 3 pm but room was dirty toilet and floors not cleaned and room was infested with spiders ,stayed for a couples of hours then left for another hotel very disappointed , hopefully the management reads this review and do something as that hotel has potential for future patrons

The room was clean, modern and the bed very comfortable. We stayed 3nights.,There is no housekeeping if you stay more than one night; towels are changed and toilet cleaned daily; we had to ask for another bath mat and toilet paper. There was no change of bed sheets for our stay.,A toaster and microwave would have been handy. TV reception was unsatisfactory; couldn’t watch ‘Gladiator’ movie without static interference. The traffic outside our room was a bit noisy; it settled early morning. The manager was helpful when we asked for another bath mat and toilet paper; and request for another night stay.,the meals are nice and watching the Tim Tsyzu fight on large tv screen at pub Sunday afternoon was good.,we had noisy loud patrons next door to us Saturday night after the pub entertainment; they settled late night. Overall an enjoyable stay; lovely walks along the river and the best fish and chips from the ‘Hook and Cook’ shop down the street!

Overall great stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable that is including having our small dog with us, bistro and bar staff were friendly/welcoming, reception not so much. Food was decent and the portions are very generous. Location was very central to popular eateries and bay side walks in Tea gardens and only a few minutes drive to supermarkets and hawks nest beaches. Fair warning though walls are thin with connecting rooms and rooms are also situated around the outdoor dinning area with the kids playground and will be very noisy until closing time.

The room was perfect for what we needed/ myself and my husband and adult daughter stayed there while she was doing a charity run/ the hotel was very accommodating and also are big supporters of a great charity - Charlie run 4 kids- they support it yearly! Very impressed - will definitely stay again !

The Tea Gardens motel is a great pkace to stay. They had nice sizeable rooms for the price I paid. There was a childrens playground in the centre area, which makes it great for families. The dining options are big considering thete is a restaurant at the motel, and other restaurants in the area. The bay outside the motel is just across the road, and provides a nice view when you are outside. The atmosphere is very welcoming and you feel comfortable staying here.

Rooms are very clean and renovated recently, in a comfortable modern beach style. Roast chicken dinner, in the hotel, was delicious. Myall Lakes are directly across the road for the Ferry, boating or walking to admire the view.

Overall great stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable that is including having our small dog with us, bistro and bar staff were friendly/welcoming, reception not so much. Food was decent and the portions are very generous. Location was very central to popular eateries and bay side walks in Tea gardens and only a few minutes drive to supermarkets and hawks nest beaches. Fair warning though walls are thin with connecting rooms and rooms are also situated around the outdoor dinning area with the kids playground and will be very noisy until closing time.

Nice by the water, listen to music , relax and meters from your bed. Easy walking to early morning cafe for coffee and breakfast and get some prawns. Loved it.

Fair value hotel. Nicely refurbed rooms with a white/navy/black nautical theme. Very fresh. Room and bathroom were small but well appointed. Great Location. Pub serves decent meals and its nice to sit out near the front windows of the pub and have views of the Myall River and boats. Friendly staff. There was a lot to like about Tea Gardens Hotel. However, 2 things which would stop me booking again is the really uncomfortable mattress on the bed, causing lost sleep and the children's organ type game installed in the playground right outside guests rooms. We love kids but hours of chimes and screaming at such close quarters ..... sometimes late into the evening is far from relaxing...... especially on the back of little sleep due to lumpy mattresses.

A great stay as always, entertainment was excellent, can't beat the Perpetrators & Mick Jones great. Oil smells from the kitchen are a fair bit off putting, obviously old oil. But overall pretty nice & relaxing

Loved this place! Its pub accommodation but super fancy… The rooms are so well styled… very impressed… lovely linen, modern and well maintained.. perfect for my one night stay back to Sydney… the location is gorgeous… right on the water… the bistro is wonderful… defs will stay again

Hotel check in was difficult as reception was unattended and difficult to find to start with and to get someone from the pub to check u in was difficult , check in time online says 2 pm and staff told me was 3 pm but room was dirty toilet and floors not cleaned and room was infested with spiders ,stayed for a couples of hours then left for another hotel very disappointed , hopefully the management reads this review and do something as that hotel has potential for future patrons
