This hotel is really suitable for leisure travel. Subway exit is around the corner. JR station is just 8 minutes walk. Shops, restaurants and convenience store are just next to the hotel. I love the walk-in shower room with bath tub together. Water is strong enough to refresh you in the morning. Breakfast can be taken at an Italian restaurant at the 2nd floor. A large variety of food is served and the waiters and waitresses keep on refilling the dishes. Overall the stay experience is great.

Very convenient location. Easy access to several subway entrances. steps to Ginza 1 shopping. Quiet area. 7/11 just accross the street. In house laundry machines ( 5 machines when we were there). The rooms is about 220m2, quite comfortable for 2 people w big luggages. ( we moved to this Daiwa as our previous hotel was only 140m2 ( too small ) & too crowded. Very happy to stay at this hotel. Cam walk or take taxi to airport bus or airport limousine bus. Highly recommend.

Great location in Ginza and only one block away from the main road so it’s quieter. Room was larger than most rooms in Tokyo hence why I booked this hotel as I had a toddler with me. Great front desk who assisted greatly in ringing around to search for a dr for my child. Easy checkin and and check out and love the amenities they provided which included hair care oils! Very clean. Extremely close to train station however station has no lift but only a 6min walk to Ginza line, Ginza station. Will definitely stay here again!

The rooms were a bit above average for Tokyo. Bathroom was nice and clean both a shower and tub. Convenient amenities. One restaurant on site and it is a standard fee for buffet. It is Italian and dinner is not Buffet. There are no more amenities. Just restaurant on site. Beds were extremely comfy with a great night sleep. TV is not smart TV that can cast from phone like other hotels in the area.

Didn’t come to make up the room next day!!! We stayed there 2 nights. First night we arrived after midnight due to flight delayed, and next day we went for the full day tour. After returned to hotel late afternoon, the room was not make up, and we have to live with it. Will not stay there again!!

We have stayed at this hotels 6 times since its opening ca 8 ys ago. This stay was utterly disappointing. The room we were assigned "welcomed" us with a revolting blend of foul smells: damp/mold & sewage odours in the bathroom, and a smelly carpet. Upon our request we were reassigned to a different room which had the same foul smell in the bathroom and a slightly less unpleasant smell in the bedroom. Furnishings in both rooms were well worn, some were stained. Not much in the way of an apology was offered. The receptionist shared, instead, that the hotel has had smell issues and that renovations are on the way. The breakfast room personnel was unfriendly and unmotivated, very unlike any of the other places we have stayed in Japan over the years. This place has decayed from what used to be a real Ginza gem in their early years of operation to an overpriced, poorly maintained tourist-trap.

Ginza is probably my favourite area of Tokyo and this hotel is superbly located for exploring the surrounding areas. I have stayed in Daiwa Roynet hotels before and so far have found them to be consistently good. The staff were polite and helpful and spoke English very well. The room was clean and comfortable and fairly spacious as far as economy double goes. The shower may have been one of the best showers I've experienced in a budget-friendly hotel anywhere in Japan. The hotel was also quiet and calm. Breakfast was okay - you get a good selection of Asian and Western style options. There are konbini and a chemist within 30 seconds of the hotel, but that's probably not a unique feature for a Japanese hotel, but still it was very convenient. I will continue to use Daiwa Roynet when I visit Japan.

In Ginza which is a good up-market area. Close to an underground station and convenience stores. Not easy to find the hotel even with Google maps and there is a lot of walking to get to the hotel. Our room was very clean, with a comfortable bed, but somewhat tired and very small. It would have made sense not to have the easy chair and table in there so there was more room to move around. Not much space if you have two large suitcases. It felt like we were in a game of Tetris.

The model doesnt really allow for to speak to staff. Check in and and check out are done at a painful kiosk. I never spike with one staff member during my stay. Even though there were 4 standing at the front desk while i tries to figure out the kiosk after 15 hourss if travel.

There’s no sidewalk leading to the hotel Entrance. Nighttime front desk personnel had no customer service skills almost no English I asked for a bottle of water at night and they sent me out in the street to 7-Eleven

The staff at check in were very welcoming and helpful. The room was exactly as described. Though smaller than any other on our trip, it was workable with two people with 2 larger and 2 smaller suitcases. The breakfast buffet was ok but definitely the worst of all the places we stayed. It lacked daily variety and I found the choices limited. I wish there had been more selection of fruit than just orange and pineapple. The room was clean and the bathroom was fairly large. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were not. Very hard and lumpy. The location was pretty good and very walkable. The closest subway station was convenient but didn’t seem to be on a direct line to most places we wanted to go which meant changing trains at a different station or walking 10 min to the Ginza station. When we arrived at Tokyo station we took a local train to get us close to the hotel but we still had to walk with our bags. On the way back, we just flagged a cab and spent 800¥ to get to the exact Tokyo station entrance we needed. Money well spent. In all, a fine hotel to stay and explore Ginza.

The hotel is in a convenient location in Ginza and close to 2 subway lines, the Yurakucho and Ginza lines. The staff were professional and helpful. The room was on the small size but was quiet. Due to its convenience, I would recommend this hotel to travelers who are touring during the day and need a convenient location to use as a base.

I arrived at the property at 12 noon flying from Zurich and I was very tired. The room wasnt ready and they asked me to come back at 1 pm. When I came back at 1 pm the advised the room was ready but wanted me to pay Yen1,000 for the 1 hour from 1 pm to 2 pm. I refused as I have never had this happen to me before. Finally the manager waived this. Expedia must folow this and advise this when we book a room at this hotel. Breakfast was average with very watery scrambled eggs that you could not eat. Lots of high end shops in Ginza and great location for shopping.
