Other than the bed being too hard, I had absolutely no problems. The check-in was quick and easy. The staff friendly and my room was cleaned without me asking for the service. Loved that the back entrance was literally in gateway parking lot.

We use this hotel as a stopover when we fly in to Durban from Australia. It is cheap and the facilities are good value lfor money. Only annoyance is there was only one person checking in at close to 11pm. They also ran out of the excellent underground parking spots. We parked in the adjacent mall parking but the entrance from the rear was not monitored and we had to walk around. Service however was friendly and room was clean and tidy.

Spotless but there were tiny ants daily in the room. I reported it to front desk. They were going to do something about it. Staff were courteous, professional and respectful. Breakfast was overall good. The service to use gym on sister hotel City Lodge is an excellent arrangement. I used it and thoroughly enjoyed the service.

It was clean and neat, with friendly staff, the only problem was, the parking was not enough and got full quickly therefore we had to park in the gateway parking lot. Not ideal in the rain. But other than that, it was comfortable and a good stay. 👍

Generally rather noisy, lots of eco friendly signs around but staff replace soaps and towels daily regardless. Tea/coffee in room is very poor- clear that mugs are wiped and not washed.

We had an amazing time with my family. The rooms were clean. The staff members were amazing and very welcoming. I am humbled with the kind of service I received, my grandparents were happy and relaxed. The breakfast was nice and well prepared. Thank you to the ladies at the reception, the restaurant staff as well as the cleaning staff ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The room was very basic and not up to standard for the pricing paid. The aircon made so much of noise that I hardly slept and woke up very tired. Breakfast was an additional cost and being vegetarian there was only toast and fruit. The bread for the toast was so thin and unsatisfying as well.

We come to visit family in The Midlands twice a year from Australia. We needed a place close to Durban Airport close to the N2 to make it easy to find at night. This hotel is tidy friendly and clean and very well placed. The position next to the mall is ideal for air conditioned walking after an early rise due to jet lag. The rooms are small but for the money it great value for our purposes. We wil use this hotel again.

Good clean hotel that is close to Gateway shopping centre and great restaurants BUT the noise levels by Gauteng guests who were down for the July handicap were unacceptable. 3 star people in fancy clothes who thought it appropriate to run screaming down hallways. Of course, the hotel cannot control this (and I found the same when I went back to the Pearls). Not screaming but drunk as skunks and high as kites. What is happening South Africa?

I can't say less about our stay it was amaxing. The place is clean and neat and comfortable. Our room was very small but nice and clean and it was a double bed I think it will be more convincing if you can get a small bar fridge in your rooms. Another thing there was no water for us to make tea. The only option was to tap at the toilet so we chose not. Atleast have 1 litre of still water for your guests to make tea or coffee. Unfortunately for me I did not take pictures.

Easiest check in and out I’ve experienced this far. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Front desk ladies could be a little more welcoming tho. Very continent location near to almost everything.

The stay was far greater than our expectations. I expected a possible 2 star hotel. We got such good service that we give 5 stars for excellence and convenience. Right next to the mall and very safe.
